Zelhara is coming to the next scenario and stopping at Ghoul Market


We may need to be very strategic this scenario.
We can’t start at 5-Pointed Sun, and can’t move at all until we close a location. So maybe we begin by ganging up on a location to try to close it quickly?

However, because we can’t move from open locations, whoever goes to babysit 5-Pointed Sun is stuck there the entire game. (Seems a great scenario for Harsk or Lirianne.)

Why not just leave 5-Pointed Sun unoccupied until we're ready to tackle it? It'll get a bunch of monsters added to it - which is a good reason to move fast - but otherwise someone is going to be eating 1d4 Cold dmg on each of their turns.


For Ghoul Market, Seoni’s 1st choice is Gravewatcher Chain Mail, 2nd choice is Rhino Hide Armor.

Can we get spoilers for the locations/henchmen? We need to decide who gets who. Seoni’s preferences are:
1) Mortevia: Wouldn’t mind additional damage prevention, and I don’t have to worry about losing a combat option to a random recharge. (Interest, but willing to defer if someone else wants.)
2) Varanthe: Emergency combat bonus is nice, but I’ll probably be avoiding Ruined Temple because half my deck is Divine. (Weak interest, if no one else feels strongly.)
3) Xandhul: I’ll be staying away from Eternal Arena and the Brass Golem there. (No interest, only if no one else wants.)

Question about location powers: if we are at a location with the power "Monsters you encounter have the Undead trait and are immune to the Mental and Poison traits; all damage dealt by them is Cold damage." does that apply to the monsters that we encounter from the siege deck? I think no, but I'm not positive.


Seoni’s first choice is Ally 6 (Clockwork Owl), but could also take Item 6 (Ring of Energy Resistance). I probably could also take Spell 6 (Dominate), although less enthusiastic given how many Mental-immune enemies there are (and siege scenarios for that matter).

Power feat will be to max my sorcery attack. No interest in the new loot, but I’ll probably adjust what I’m taking given the siege.

Trader will be Ghoul Market again.

Re location powers: Defensive Stance says to “encounter the top card of the siege deck as if it were the top card of your location deck”. So they would become Undead.

Seoni’s first choice is Ally 6 (Clockwork Owl, or maybe Autumn Witch). Might conceivably be able to take a Spell 5, but still thinking that over. (Maybe Eagle Aerie for Dimension Leap? Or maybe Blizzard for Wall of Fire, although I like the anti-Undead bonus with Wall of Fire. Any opinions?)
Feat will be INT skill.

Varanthe: Will defer to Raz. Would be nice for Construct evasion, but Raz is even better Construct evasion :)
Mortevia: Interested, but willing to defer if someone else wants. It’s nice for Seoni because I don’t have to worry about losing a combat option to a random recharge.
Xandhul: Nice, but no strong feelings. Only if no one else wants.

Hmm, it appears that for my upgrade for the *last* scenario, I got the Spell 6 upgrade (replace Scrying with Arcane Cannonade) but then forgot to actually change that in my deck. So I'm doing that now (Scrying was swapped out last time anyway).

Dropping a couple of loot cards that I had taken for the siege scenario: mythopoeic sphinx (gives me samisen back) and Effigy of Anubis (gives me wand of flying back).

And I'll go ahead and resume taking Vision (swapping out Cloudburst for it).
