Page 21 of Current Pathfinder Society Field Guide:
Beyond the gear noted above, your character is restricted to purchasing additional items either from his accumulated Chronicle sheets or by capitalizing on his Fame (see page 20). Weapons, armor, equipment, magic items and so on that are outside of these lists are not available for purchase at any time.

Those pages (20/21) of the field guide have pretty much all the guidelines for gear purchasing.
