I can start whenever. The only sourcebook as of right now is the Pathfinder 2.0 rulebook found Here (Link).

Here is a link to the Playtest thread for those that are interested.

Yea there is a ton of flexibility. Especially once you add in the archetypes that basically allows you to multiclass without as big of a loss.
Sorry that link above is actually to the gameplay thread.

Same here, Draka. I do not approve of what they are doing with skills and skill feats. It’s too complicated. And I can’t figure out how Perception is improved. Is it a skill or is it completely separate?
I feel like it’s going to have the same issues I’m having with Starfinder.

Just realized I shared the wrong hockey sequence (but still funny as heck). Here’s the coach doing his thing. Link!

Letterkenny is hilarious.
Yea I like what they did with the classes but the skill feat thing is a bit weird and can be overwhelming. You almost have to break each thing down and take it one at a time in small steps.
The new Herolab really helps to learn the process as it just gives you only the 5-6 choices you actually have at that point. If you don't have I believe some folks created free pdf sheets to fill in to help as well.

Sounds good Draka!
Why did that marrowblight want to die over that?"
Technically she didn't want to die. She did surrender hehe

I’ve been working on location (all outside, with minimal shade) in the hills of northeastern Washington state for the last three weeks. The first two weeks saw temperatures of 100+. Only now has it dropped down to the high 80’s.

We have had a cool front come through from the coast this week so it dropped from 122 degrees down to 115-117. Feels amazing!
Highest recorded temperature here is 129 degrees with the average being roughly 100+ at night.

Still working my way through the armory book as there is a ton of good things in there. Namely the first thing that popped out to me are 2 cool hybrid grenades.
There are now summoning grenades! You too could be your very own space pokemon master.
Also healing nanobot grenades.

That was one of the worst ones yet!
Oh World of Warcraft ate up years of my life. I was the #1 healing priest on my server before I finally called it quits when the panda expansion dropped. Now the story sounds good again, but I just can't bring myself to doing it again. One large hobby at a time. :) Plus it kind of pushed me into Pathfinder here.

Uh, man, how did that vamp identify Vetch's square in the fog? Man...needs a perception check to find the right square or is it different in Starfinder?
I did a bit more research cause I was also thinking it needed a perception check at first but couldn't find much on the situation. But everyone was going back and forth 50-50. Though in a few spots it mentions tracking and pinpointing an unseen creature. Standing still is +40 and moving is +20 to their stealth for the purposes of the perception check. Locating a creature in plain sight is DC 0 so with moving it would make the DC 20.
Basically I am trying to figure out the DC as surprisingly I haven't dealt with Fog Cloud like this too much and have probably been doing it wrong. Or is it normally against a stealth check?
I am more than happy to roll a perception check and retcon that damage as it makes far more sense but just trying to see if it is a flat DC or if you guys need a stealth check each round you are in it.
@GM Damn glad it pushed you to Pathfinder! Now you can use it as your major TimeSink! Well, The Zane is ready to keep rocking and rolling. Let's get push posting.
I am glad it pushed me into Tabletop RPG's as well Zane :)

Bumping this last discussion point since the site went down since I posted it. Want to make sure I am doing it correctly and looking to hear from folks that have worked with Obscuring mist and perception checks for the DC.

Vetch No-Toes |

I think of it like invisibility after 10’ out in fog because you can’t see the target beyond that point. At which point I think it’s a perception check to ID the square, just like invisibility.
But I would love to hear from others.

The Zane |

I have nothing to add about the mechanics of the spell. Sorry.
My only thought as a GM is that The enemy has height as an advantage, while the obsuring mist probably also goes up at least 15 feet, I do think that her vantage point should offer some added bonus.

Yup, I was mainly trying to determine if it was a Base DC to go off of or if you each needed to roll stealth checks to base the Perception DC off of.

Nice. That first week is always rough. Bashing your heads against the first few bosses.

The Zane |

Just a quick note to compliment my fellow players- great roleplaying and GREAT tactics. While Zane is taunting the bad guy... and it's almost never a good decision to make the GM raise his eyebrows, I do want to compliment the tactics of my fellow players. This DIFFICULT encounter has gone very well considering. That's all because of the fog and the illusion images and ABE putting Lina in harms way.
