@ Game Convention Friends-- I'm going to take my son to the upcoming LA Gamex/ Strategicon convention for the first time. I want to sign us up for Pathfinder games and start my son's character at first level with the PFS.
He's 11 years old, and I don't know if I should just create his character under my Paizo PFS profile or if I create a new PFS profile for him. He doesn't really have an email address, and I'm not certain I like the idea of him having his own "on line" stuff at age 11.

Any downsides? Opinions?
You are all pro's with this PFS stuff, and my son is VERY EXCITED about the game weekend. We might jump on 4 or 5 games.

What you may run into with that is only 1 PFS ID can be used in a game. That was a player can't have multiple characters playing in the same adventure. One thing you could do is download your son an actual PFS ID # that can be associated with an email address or account later.

I will also be gone at paizocon most of this next week. Looking over the schedule I don't see why I shouldn't be able to at least get in a single post at night. 23rd-27th May.

Sure have! I have met numerous PbP'ers here just in the first day! Vetch and myself met up the first night for a quick drink then played through a few scenarios of the new ACG on Friday night.

SOOOOO Sorry all. I was at Game Con in LA, and it was back to back Pathfinder Society! I was not on line at all. I'll try to catch up as I feel really back for stalling for 4 days.
3 gaming days - 4 PFS's and 2 Starfinders! Wowzers I am tired.

All good. I was stuck off at a con myself. :) Sounds just as busy and fun! Think I was able to get in:

3 SFS
1 PFS
1 PFS Special
3 ACG
1 PFS 2E Delve

I was definitely exhausted by the end.

@ GM - does the bleed fusion on my blade help to actually hit incorpreal creatures?
I'm trying to see which weapon would best be used. vetch mentioned normal blades, but Zane has seen his blade and gun act differently in the past due to the fusions.

Or, my other question is the viscious fusion on the laser. would that be better for the 50% damage reduction?

Sorry had to re-research that again to make sure I was correct. So, here is the quick down and dirty:

@ GM. The last attack by the wraith was actually a miss. a roll of 1 always misses - even though it hit my EAC. I think I should have 13 HP's back.
Additionally, I shot through Messelina. Does the drone provide cover? I thought since it was "small" size it might not.

The drone does provide cover I think, but she's 5' up, so you're shooting below her. :)

Ah yes it was. Thanks I missed that Zane. Previously you shot through both Messalina and Dash it looked like. But looking back again at the angle you were if you chose your far right corner it would just skirt Dash parallel so no cover.

I'm on my phone atm, do you mind moving Draka above JM with one space between them? Otherwise I can do it this evening

I don't think I have ever tried that one. I also missed most of E3 this year, just caught little bits here and there on facebook.

Checking in! :D I have high hopes for Nintendo. They didn't sell as many Switches as they projected, but I've been impressed with the games so far.

I think a lot of that was due to them not keeping any on the shelves for quite a bit of time. The hype went away before they could keep supply up with the demand.

I like the games as well. Though I should give the new Zelda another try. The two things I didn't like about it were the weapons constantly breaking and the metroid style dungeons going away.

It's been raining like crazy here. There was a thunder clap so loud I thought it hit a tree! Woke me up last night. The temperature has been cooler though (humid, but in the 80s.) Typical Virginia

It's been hot here in Cali. But, I get to go Deep Sea fishing tomorrow - so I will be out of posting and internet range. Then a Beach and Beer festival on Saturday.
Goodness gracious I DO love California.
P.S. I'm attending the LA Game Convention and even GM'ing a couple sessions. Wish me luck in fishing, beer drinking and GM'ing. I'll need it for all three!

How was the beer festival btw? :D Do they have kegs with free samples? Or is it a bunch of home and small company brews?

@ Draka. Exactly. About 40 breweries all giving out 3-4 oz samples. Most breweries has 2-4 different sample brews.
It started out amazing. Lots of good beers to drink * but the second half had a lot that were crazy IPA's or Wheat Beers or Tangerine beers.
Now, I totally get it that beer officionado's might want to try the odd ball beer.
The best part was how friendly all the participants were. We chatted with lots of total strangers!
Great music. Some fun games, and it was by the beach so the weather and temp was perfect.

*-- I am the worlds biggest lightweight. I am also not a huge fan of beer, but I liked a lot of the lighter beers. I stayed away from most Stouts and IPAs. Too hoppy for me.

I prefer sweet alcoholic drinks. I like the way beer smells, but I haven't been able to get behind the taste. The closest I've gotten is cider. Like Angry Orchard (which I'm sure has lots of sugar)

@ Draka. I am usually the same way. I also love cider. Angry Orchard is not as good as a lot of others out there.
Pear Cider is actually spectacular.
But,I digress. Beer has been tasting better of late. I'm jamming on the mexican beers. Bohemia and Modelo.

I haven't felt inspired to play Draka recently, that's why I've been mysteriously missing. I'm totally alive tho (and back)

I'm not feeling Draka anymore and it's not fair to everyone else when I'm absent. I think it might be best if I bowed out. I really appreciate GM Tyranius letting me be at the table and everyone else for accepting Draka into the party. I had some good laughs. I'll probably still ghost now and then.
