Apsu's wrath will have to be felt again in the future. Edward lowers his bow, and strides towards Ali. Not sure if the winter witch will return quickly or not Ed lays his hand on Vojtek instantly recovering him from his rage exhaustion.

Davosh I have their wounds taken care of, Kappi go with him. Your keen eyes and trusty axe' will keep him safe.

Switching his life link to Ali, he verifies that she will be ok, then he rests, recovering his life force.

Hell of a fight huh? So Ali there's the hut. There is what we were tasked to free. It's shackles are removed, but how do we get it out of here?

On the broken, mangled corpse of Radosek, Davosh and Kappi find an amulet of natural armor +1, a cloak of resistance +1, a ring of protection +1, a scroll of animate object, two potions of cure moderate wounds, and an icicle wand. They also locate a locket with a painted portrait of Nazhena in it, but it has been marred more than once by something sharp, evidently in one or more fits of anger.

icicle wand (CL 7, 22 charges):
This fragile-looking wand appears to be nothing more than a sharpened icicle nearly a foot in length, though it is as sturdy as any wand and the ice never melts. A combination of arcane tool and weapon, icicle wands find frequent use among the winter witches of Irrisen, and traders have carried them as far south as the mountains of Cheliax, Andoran, and Taldor. An icicle wand functions primarily as a wand of ice spears, granting its user the ability to create and turn icy terrain against her enemies. In addition, an [i]icicle wand can also be wielded as a masterwork dagger that deals 1 point of cold damage with a successful attack in addition to normal dagger damage. An icicle wand with a caster level of 7th or higher functions as a +1 frost dagger instead.

With Nazhena gone and the shackles removed by Edward's quick thinking, you all feel the burden of the Black Rider ease somewhat as the Hut turns toward you and then lowers itself to the ground, seeming to roost on its chicken legs.

He then lets out a chuckle at Vojtek's comment and Davosh's shocked but mad cackle concerning the use of such a valuable magic item.

Well I would have loved if Apsu guided us to freeing Whitethrone from that Winter Witch, but I'm sure another would have taken her place, and she might have been worse. Now lets see what this Dancing Hut has to offer other than kicking the crap out of whatever that creature was. I sure do hope I live through this and have children and grandchildren. They will never believe that there is a building on chicken legs that moves, heck I'm not sure I believe it.

Ali, is there someway you can send a message magically to Solveig and the Heralds. I would like to inform her that we have the hut, but Nazhena has survived. Let her get ready for any reprisals, or to mount an attack to overthrow her in her weakened state.

    Map updated.

The Hut appears to be a crude, simple hovel some 15 feet tall and 15 feet square, wholly unremarkable were it not normally sitting atop a pair of gigantic chicken legs. A single door without lock or handle can be seen to access the building, along with a trio or small, circular windows on the remaining sides. Its rickety porch wraps about the whole of the building.

Kappi steps in to discover a comfortable-looking room with bundles of dried herbs hanging from the rafters, while along the walls are numerous shelves holding a bewildering variety of glass jars, bottles, and vials containing all manner of strange magical components and alchemical ingredients. A massive cauldron sits in the middle of the room; no fire burns under it, but the liquid within bubbles and churns, and white fumes rise and lap over the brim. A large stove, writing desk, bookcase, and fireplace complete the room, along with a number of crates, barrels, and sacks. A short flight of steps leads up to a set of double doors in the far wall, and a small ladder climbs to a trap door in the ceiling to the far right hand corner.

It is immediately apparent that this room is a fair bit larger than the Hut's exterior walls should allow. Nevertheless, the room looks cozy and well-kept, if somewhat disheveled.

I know the Black Rider tasked us with retrieving the hut, but now that we have freed it, what is our next move in closing the portals, and saving Golarion from an everlasting winter?

You know it's amazing that ones with so much power as these Winter Witches to want to bring that to the world. Does she lack even the basic common sense to realize they import food to feed the few people that are here in Irrisen. The winter will kill the crops and she won't even be able to feed what few people she has here, let alone any of the population centers. We are the first to try to stop her I think, but I'm very very certain that we are not, or will not be the only ones to try. Once the legendary powers of the world come to grips with the scope of the problem they will mobilize.

Heck, remember the tales about the Heroes of The Upturned Cup in Korvosa? If they knew the danger this posed, they might be roused to leave the Keg & Eagle.
