Kappi will trigger initiative, but I'll give him a surprise round. One Standard action, so either the attack (which would have sneak dice) or the Acrobatics check.

AFK most of the day, will try to get to this tonight.

I guess Kappi will go for his sweet move to get around his opponent.

Kappi isn't following the Fey and Draconic words from Ali, though he thinks she isn't looking happy.

The rogue misreads Vojtek's reaction to hearing the language of dragons. Seeing the barbarian handle his AX, the lad takes this as a sign to "bring the steel"

Perhaps over confident from his recent dragon slaying Kappi thinks he can pull off a tricky footwork manuver to get behind the spriggan. The lad step forward stabbing his foe and then tries to slip behind the spriggan as he pulls his blade w/ him.

Ali curses under her breath, making a note to herself to bring up the need for a "battle language" common to the group.

She draws her bow and fires a cold iron blanched arrow at the Spriggin.

Ali lets an arrow fly, and damages the flat-footed spriggan further!

The dawn piper grins wickedly, and puts a flute to its mouth, beginning to play. The music is discordant and chaotic. Suddenly, light and darkness seem to coalesce around the dawn piper, and it reveals itself in all its terrible beauty, its intensity too much to endure!

In addition to a full stomach, Davosh finds half a score of freshwater pearls that Kappi estimates to be worth about 400 gp each.

Young Kappi has seen much in his life traveling w/ the Family. While he had heard of oysters he had never actually seen them. He was happy to try something new. However, he flat out refused to eat his oysters w/ capers.

The lad had to admit he was pretty impressed w/ the haul of loot from the pearls. Nice spot Davosh

As the rogue stows all the pearls into the bag of holding he thinks how lovely Ali would look w/ a pearl necklace. However, something about the long lived elf always spook the lad a little and he kept his thoughts to himself. She is too much a warrior, maybe she wouldn't like it.
Kappi snags the mwk flute (if nobody minds).

The Varisian rogue is ready to press on. He takes a moments to unwrap and they retie his head scarves. Then, bolstered by his heavy hitting comrade not too far behind him, he sneaks off to scout the immediate trail ahead.

Kappi makes his way along the meandering path as the party keeps close behind him. He stops abruptly as the path begins to narrow again, and his sharp eyes make out a thin tripwire across the path, connected to two trees ready to fall and crush anyone on the path! As he moves toward the wire to disable the trap, he hears a pair of hisses and looks up, seeing a pair of hideous, hunchbacked creatures with three glowing blue eyes and oily hair growing from its head and back, covering it like a cloak, hiding behind an old abandoned wagon! They are decidedly unhappy about Kappi failing to fall into their trap, and doubly incensed that he is attempting to disable it! Kappi lets out a yelp to alert his friends!

When visible, DC 12 Kn (nature):
These Small-sized fey are nuglub gremlins, deranged and depraved. Their idea of a good time is murder so silent that the victim never wakes up, so the family members find the remains the next morning and accuse one another of the atrocity.

    DC 17 Kn (nature):
Nuglubs jealously attack armored foes, as the gremlins' hunchbacked forms make it difficult to wear armor made for other humanoids. A group may use its heat metal and shocking grasp abilities to weaken an opponent before mobbing it and trying to knock the foe prone. Often, as soon as an enemy falls to the ground, all nuglubs descend on that target in a frenzy of bloodlust, grappling and biting, holding on like perverse leeches until nothing remains.

    DC 22 Kn (nature):
Nuglub gremlins are resistant to non-cold iron weaponry and to spells.

I appreciate the gesture...but if it's all the same to you, I'll keep it...will last 5 minutes, I'm guessing we'd fight again before that time.
