hopefully. Also I might want to adjust spells depending on what path we are taking. If the Styx then more diplomatic and all purpose spells. If the skum and such then combat related spells will be the focus.

Sorry for dropping away like that folks, had a string of small crisis hit right after the site issues and didn't really have a chance to update you all. I had been contacted by one of you who managed to track me down online. I appreciate the effort you have all put into this game and would like to keep going if your all willing.
I'm dropping out of the games I'm playing and will just focus on running these two tables.
FYI I will be out of contact from the 11th-23rd of this month for training and sometime early next year (Leaving Jan-Feb) I will be overseas. Not sure about what kind of internet access I will have during that but if your willing to wait and see I'll try to continue to run the game from there.
Storyline wise you two tables have been very similar so I wanted to bring up the idea of combining the two tables into one. How would folks feel about that?

I think that's the biggest concern I have with merging tables--the group size would balloon to like, ten, wouldn't it?

I'd certainly be willing to continue, though the combo table would be a rather large group, I agree. I don't have an issue with it, but we'd need to hammer out how decision-making would work, since waiting even for a majority of ten or so players could drastically slow things down. Other than that, I'm game.

I'm happy to keep going, though I'm also a bit worried about combining two groups. I'm playing in one game with about 9 players and it can get very clogged.
So sounds like both tables are open to the idea but have concerns about overall table size. I think if I move away from rolls for the combat and go a little more fluid it would be fine. It also would help us move more quickly in the story than the pace we currently have.
Even if you stick to combat rolls and double the creatures for a double party size I think it would be doable. Also if people post each day then even large combats can go quickly. whatever you think is best for yourself and the campaign though Striker.
Of course it’s whatever Striker would prefer. My fear isn’t the combats, though...it’s the decision making process. But that can be worked thru, as well. No worries. :)

Alright everyone I'm back from the training we did, only a little worse for the wear... I do however have a concussion. Little training accident I was involved in, but I'm doing mostly alright, still noticing some memory problems so maybe at 80% right now?
Looking over everything I'm going to keep the table separated after all. I'm also going to try a loosen up a little on the rules so we can enjoy the story we're all making a little more.
Expect an update later tomorrow. Got to limit my time thinking too hard right now.

Don't push it too hard with a concussion Striker. Take time if you need to heal.
Glad to hear you're back and doing okish. I second the concussion protocol. Better to clear your head than force it.
Concussion is very nasty. Take your time and recover properly.
I'm too thick skulled to have had any problems with it, but my brother suffered a lot of them. His doctor told him to strengthen his neck, give his head better support to avoid getting concussions. It seemed to work in his case.

Considering the last time we heard from Striker he had memory issues from a concussion, the silence is a bit concerning. Hope he's okay.
Agreed. Brain injuries are very dangerous.

Sorry for my absence everyone Pre-deployment work ate my time and then the wife and I were in a head on collision over the holidays. No serious injuries but was stranded and was without my computer until now. I do expect to vanish for a little bit near valentines day but apart from that I should be back now.

Sorry about all of this everyone. I think I'm going to actually have to call it quits. My unit keeps changing dates on us and can't seem to decide when groups are leaving ect.
I'm just not able to post reliably and keep having a lot of little things piling up and getting in the way. Given all of that its not fair to keep you all in suspense and waiting for a GM who may or may not be able to follow through with the adventure. If/ When I start another campaign I'll be sure to let you all know.
If you would like to find a new GM to take over or have one of you do I I would happily turn it over to them.
Again I apologize. Just haven't been able to really game since the concussion and things haven't really improved.
