"What are you people doing? We can just walk out and close the door."Quinn asks confused at what he sees.

"We can now! It has his wrist before!" Caelynn pointed out before she grabbed Mathias and tried to push him towards the door.

Combat Manuver: Reposistion: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21

"I don't believe this is a haunt or ghost! Holy water did nothing!"

Trying to move him closer to the door
Dwarf Male Sorcerer 2 [HP 14/14] [AC:12 T:12 FF:10 CMD:12] [Init +4] [Fort +1 Ref +2 Will +7] [Perception +4]

Burgen grips his hammer in both hands and charges the manacles.
Charge: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 2
Fourth Floor Third Floor

The manacles fly around after being hit but they seem to be taking no damage due to their hardness.

They swing back around and attempt to grab Burgen.

Slam: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11

"They say it take more courage to retreat then to fight" mathias says as he heads for the door.

Combat Manuver: Reposistion: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

Caelynn grabbed Burgen next. "Time to run not fight!"

Burgen turns with Caelynns' urging and heads out of the room.
Fourth Floor Third Floor

Everyone exits the room but you can still hear the manacles beating on the door for a few minutes before it stops trying to get at you.

Quinn walks over to the north door and opens it.

Caelynn let out a long sigh after the manacles stopped beating on the door. "This place is horribly haunted, yet that wasn't a haunt.." Caelynn said as she moved to join the rest at the door Quinn was at.

"Oh?"Quinn says raising an eyebrow

"Holy energy, even from holy water, effects haunts." Caelynn explained. "But this... It didn't react to the water at all."

Mathias follows the two massaging his wrist where the manacle had latched on. "I wouldn't say it didn't react, i'm pretty sure it gripped tighter after the water." Mathis says with a smirk. "Thanks for the help Caelynn, don't think I could've gotten my meat hook unstuck without the water."

Caelynn offered a soft smile. "You are welcome Mathias, I wouldn't have just left you to it on your own." She told him with a nod.

However she did find it odd that he said that it gripped tighter when she poured water upon it yet it helped him to get out...

"Those could o' just been parta' the prison itself, from before the fire and all." said Burgen . Turning to Mathias, "Ye gonna be alright lad? Everything still workin' proper?"

"Yea, thanks for asking Burgen." Mathias reply's "It always chafes like crazy after I slip out of shackles."
