Clarification: Is it Leeoli's impression that his arrow hit, but went through it harmlessly, or that it missed, but just barely, or no idea either way.


Oops, i forgot to add my +2 BAB to my ranged attack roll, but dont worry about it.


Don't know what kind of action it is to retrieve arrows from another's quiver..kind of oping that it is a move action. If this thing is a ghost, then those ghost touch arrows are needed by Anyi.

Reminder to any who are bleeding: We have four doses of bloodblock

Bloodblock

Price 25 gp; Weight —

This gooey, pinkish substance helps treat wounds. Using a dose gives you a +5 alchemical bonus on Heal checks for providing first aid, treating wounds made by caltrops or similar objects, or treating deadly wounds. A dose of bloodblock ends a bleed effect as if you had made a DC 15 Heal check. When treating deadly wounds, using a dose of bloodblock counts as one use of a healer’s kit (and grants the +5 bonus stated above).

Flute: Though the exact effects of this flute can't be determined, it is quite obviously a cursed item, though well made. You feel as if this item could have captivated or maybe even controlled the skeletons and stirges on the upper floor, but you also sense that just playing it could come with a great cost.

Handaxe: This axe definitely emanates magic, though its exact effect is also unclear. You sense that this would be a powerful weapon against its original wielder, or to anything linked to the Lopper's dark past. However, you feel as if it would come with a price as well. The bloodstains on it are impossible to wipe away.

Hammer: This hammer seems to be an enlightening item - the wielder would be made more capable in the profession of smithing and any crafting associated with it. It also seems as if it would bring shame to its original wielder, though even a touch on it forces the mind to cloud slightly.

Holy Symbol: These symbols, obviously used by Father Charlatan to prove to his victims his good intentions, are all on fine silver chains, and are probably worth quite a bit altogether. For some reason, they cannot be untangled no matter what one does. You get the felling that these could reduce one's defense against divine casting, but it also seems as if they'd be successfully used as a ward for protection against some of the things that haunt the old prison.

Hmmm. That bloodblock might be handy. Do you need any healing skill to use it?


It can either aid a healcheck, or can be takes as an auto 15 heal check to stop bleeding.

Hi everyone! I apologize for my disappearance this summer. As I mentioned to GM in messages, we had just moved into a big old house that needs major attention and I also started a new job! Well, we've unpacked and settled in, hired a carpenter, and my job is starting to feel comfortable, and so I'd like to return to PbP. But this time, I only want to play in 1 or 2 games. GM allowed that I might slip back into this one as Rufus, and if that's alright with you all I'm keen to do so.

It looks like we're continuing our investigation of the prison, and have run into some interesting encounters in the lower levels!

ummm...do we think Zaz might be more effective in other ways? Empowering someone's weapon with her Touch the Spirit World special ability might be ultimately more useful. Coupled with weapon of awe that's a pretty handy buff.

Vrilli: The bloodblock itself is treated as a DC 15 heal check for the purposes of stopping bleeding. All you have to do is spend the action to apply it, and it works!

Dangerous Artifacts:

I like the look of the Longsword. Does masterwork mean that it has a plus 1 bonus or just that it can be enchanted to have bonuses?
