Here we go - Rise of the Runelords!

Huzzah!

So, added a couple of maps. The "Sandpoint Map with your locations" linked at the top is a full town map with your icons. Zoom in to see more detail. You can move your icons around as you wish based on your posts. Please don't move the map! (Control-Z undoes any accidental moves). Also feel free to add labels if you want.

The second link takes you to the directory where I will put other maps. There are some neat 3d renders someone did that give a sense of the geography of the town.

"Sandpoint Handout" includes information that Vailic knows having lived in town for a while.

"Sandpoint - places everyone knows" is for Casca and Zeldana - just the famous or obvious places. Of course, you can ask around for other things you're looking for.

Also - since we are using the Unchained "automatic bonus progressions" - that means there will be a lot of items that just don't exist. Stat boost belts/headbands, boring +X magic weapons and armor, etc. So, feel free to list items that you'd love for your character to find. I don't have a "magic Wal-Mart" in my campaigns, so you can't assume you will just be able to buy anything that exists - but if I know you want something I can consider it for the loot you find.

To add grey text, go to your alias profile, click on edit my 'profile' (grey button, right hand side). and then enter info in the Race and Class/Levels boxes. Everything in those boxes becomes grey text.

Scott, eventually I would like my character to find a rod of Giant Summoning. This is illegal in PFS for good reason, it is overpowered. If you allow me to find it, but increase the price, I understand.

For Vailic arcane caster stuff like pearls of power, meta magic rods, wands, scrolls, spellbooks, Ioun stones. Buffer cap, mirror of guarding reflections and fate's shears and cool named items I would not mind finding.

No special loot requests for Casca yet, well other than the regular stuff: Keen Scimitar, cloaks, all the cloaks. But as he gets more character and I get a feel for him I'll start looking for specific gear.

And did the Nerosyan church send a gift for the new Cathedral? I feel like I'm showing up to a house warming without a gift.

I don't expect all my backstory hooks to catch, so don't feel obligated to include anything. My idea was to plant lots of seeds that would have a chance to sprout over the course of the campaign.

Witness the glory of the shared backstory Michael! Hahaha, we can entertain ourselves while Scott is sick!

I am a little envious. Good thing I have eyes of the ten to tide me over!

Well, that was a stupid week. Sorry, was out sick and am now in the middle of my 20-hour marathon shift at work for a special event. I will post today and then you can wrap up your "On the road" thread and we can continue. Sorry.

I am free and clear this weekend. No work, no nothing!!

It is a nail biter game, Alchemist with holy water sure helped with the undead. And two high AC characters make things easier.

But had a drop in player, and had to start teaching what the campaign meta was; no stealing from other characters, be useful while your team mates are fighting a hard fight, stay generally on topic, and halflings can not use dwarves as mounts.

Will see if they come back and adjust to the campaign.

Do you guys mind if I do Harrowings? I like the fact how some cards turn up, but if you guys don't think the flavour will help, let me know.

It went well. Sorcerer tank still alive. Ice Tomb (Su) was use to save someones life. I have may have errored in the last fight trying to let other people shine.

Guys, I am sorry for my absence - a family issue has reared its ugly head and I just don't have the ability to do this. Sorry for getting your expectations up - I'd really love to play this game, but I can't.
