Belina fires a shot but the barricade that protects her from the bandits also protects the bandits from her arrows. It would take more skill to fire through it. The closest tengu charges the lone eagle, a single slash of it's sword is all it takes to make sure the eagle does not bother the bandit.
The last bandit manages to free himself from the entanglement, he rides back to the others that are waiting at some trees. Probably to discuss what the next move should be.

Did we manage to understand if there will be more than one wave? If no:
Heevel begins another round of summoning.

GMG |

Heveel: there are still plenty of tengu bandits watching the combat.
Timmon shoots a sling bullet, the bandit manages to pull his horse slightly to the side. That minor movement causes the sling bullet to miss, but it also steers him right into the path of Jinny's arrow!

Timmon slides to safety behind the barricade. He grabs his crossbow.
Heavy Crossbow is a full round to load and fire. Can I half cock it this round, and be able to fire and move next round?

GMG |

Timmon, loading a heavy crossbow is a fullround action. Firing is another standard. You can take a move to slide down and a second move action to pick up your crossbow. Next round you can take a full round action to fully load the crossbow and can then fire it in the round after that.
Heveel is up!

GMG |

The tengu galop forward, moving around the area where Heveel has urged the local vines to entangle everything that passes through.

Jinny fires off a shot at the nearest rider.
@GM, how far are they? Horses move 50ft so even with a double move on their part I believe they're still within my second range increment (140-210 ft).
(Insert diatribe here about how Paizo needs to name range increments: I suggest "point blank", "short", "medium", "long", and "extreme" for the first five.)
Composite Shortbow @ short: 1d20 + 5 - 2 ⇒ (20) + 5 - 2 = 23 Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5

GMG |

Jinny, they took 2 run actions for 200 feet per round. See slide 5 for a schematic picture. I might be a few squares off where I put them on the map, but that is not that important.
Point blank is already a named range: within 30 feet, so short would be within first range increment, without modifiers.

Jinny tries to take out the injured Blue bandit.

Jinny and Belina fire their arrows. The flickering flames seem to distract the women, as both arrows miss.

![]() |

Heveel tries the best he can to create water to drip on the fire with the intention to extinguish the fire.
That's 4 gallons of water.

GMG |

Heveel dumps a few gallons at once on the fire. With a hiss and white smoke it goes out!
Timmon?

Seeing the bandits so close, Timmon drops his crossbow again and loads his sling. He whips it above his head and sends a stone flying toward the leftmost bandit.

AC 20 for 1 round.

![]() |

Timmon leaves his sling dangling from the loop around his wrist and vaults up the barricade at its center. He advances carefully along the top toward the tengu drawing his dagger-like sai.
Which tengu you ask? If Heveel's wind blast worked, then Timmon goes south toward green. If it didn't, then Timmon goes north toward blue. I am assuming that the barricade is 5' high. T steps north 5', climbs barricade for 20' and has 5' left to dance along the top.

And he's looking like a target up there. Spending a defense point for AC, gets him to 16.

GMG |

The blue-clad tengu's feathers struggle in Heveel's wind blast. The tengu wobbles on his feet but finally manages to keep standing. Jinny slashes over the green one's ankles and crow feet.
Timmon moves closer to the blueish one and tries to attack him. The burning flames under the monk's feet are a bit of a distraction and he misses the tengu.
