Cursing, Illirio fires off a shot with his crossbow.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21

Illirio should give up magic and become an archer!

That's a threat, Illirio :D tell me you confirm that beautiful shot!

Illirio, I have moved you within the red circle: outside of that you can't hit the monster
Pillango climbs up another 15 feet while Illirio fires a bolt at the cave fisher and hits it! The cave fisher fires a strand of sticky web at Hadid and tugs on it, finding out that the human is just a bit too heavy to hoist up easily.

Heveel just leans on the wall, opening wide his eyes. "Duuude! An eagle appeared! That's actually only the second time it works..."

GMG |

Hadid easily slashes through the filament with his whip. Illirio fires an arrow that scatters against the overhang. Heveel's eagle rips chunks out of the cave fisher with beak and claw. Then disaster strikes as Timmon first fails to find an adequate handhold and then falls down! The monk lies in a heap on the ground, Hadid is lucky that he did not stand underneath the falling human.
Falling Damage: 3d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 1) = 11
Belina, did you read the comment beneath the map? Also: can you put your attack rolls and damage rolls on seperate lines: that way I only have to look at the last number on each line. Thanks!

This one in particular just begs to be long too. The range penalties, the cover, starting with two people on a wall who can't attack, and fell causing turns spent reviving. Gnarly combination all around.

Calling combat
Eventually you manage to kill the cave fisher and Pillango and Timmom climb back up again. They lower ropes so the rest can also climb up.
After another one and a half hour track you follow a narrow path leading up a mountain, hugging a sheer cliff face to one side, while dropping off to the other into what appears to be the remains of a rock slide. Several alcoves have been carved into the cliff face, each containing a small stone shrine—some little more than simple standing stones, others ornately carved lanterns or small houses. The path is well defined, promising easier progress, and is a welcome break from the rough terrain leading up to this point

![]() |

Heveel strides forward happily, smoking his cigarette. A sour smell travels with him.
"Oh, nice shrines!" he casually says.

![]() |

Had to find my Hadid PDF since I apparently neglected to put an actual modifier for Religion on the site...
Knowledge (religion): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13

Bluff: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
I've clearly been away from my holy studies for too long, I remember little more about these things than the rest of these heathens

![]() |

Knowledge=Religion: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
Illirio steps in close to one of the shrines, wiping away dirt and dust from one lintel before examining another and frowning. Turning back to the group, he shakes his head.
"Hadid's right. These are - or were - important. They were meant to guard against dangerous and malicious spirits. In their state of abandonment, however, they most likely are no longer able to serve their function. Be on guard. Who knows what may stalk these high passes now."
That said, Illirio readies himself and continues along the path.

![]() |

Timmon tilts his head.
"If these are sacred, may I have a few moments? I brought this prayer flag for an ill cousin. Perhaps if I clean the shrine and leave it here, the spirits will look favorably on my plea."
