Brother Grergof Varsk
Yes, it has been a long day.
When gone from the vampires and Grergof thinks they are alone.
Same inn arrangements as last time?
AKA go to first room and teleport to the second room.
Brother Grergof Varsk
Such welcoming creatures... Maybe I'll have to visit again, after this is all over. Grergof muses softly.
With many of my kindred... The killer had the right idea, Maybe I should continue his work later
Stam Truthfinder
Once they make their way back to the Inn Stam will sit in the common room and eat something. "You know." Stam says between bites "This whole chase is getting old fast, we show up about a day late, deal with the towns issues then move on." Stam says taking a drink of wine as they eat.
Darius Redgrave __
"Just get me a night of sleep and an hour of prayer time and I'll fix us all up again. Isn't that hard, when no ones around to kill ya." Darius tells over a hearty stew and a mug of ale.
"Can do some now."

Channel: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 2, 2) = 9
Darius has also a lot of spells left to change into healing. Consider yourself HP restored.

A short tour through your knwoledge aobut the locale Caliphas, or alternately asking around brings up the following information.
Located a few miles north of Caliphas along the coast, the abbey is dedicated to Saint Lymirin, a divine servant of Iomedae, and perhaps coincidentally, the patron saint of first blood. Countess Carmilla Caliphvaso bought the abbey and turned it into a winery.
Brother Grergof Varsk
Do we know anything about the Countess Caliphvaso? We might want to know about her before we head over.
Unless Mr. Stam you have some way to do a magical recon on this abbey?
I would like to know more about the place before we walk into what will probably be a prepared trap.
Darius Redgrave __
"How many coin do we have? Maybe we can pay someone else to do that shit?" Darius blabbers.
Looking into the determined face of Grergof he adds "No? Feared so. Someday that shit will be my death."
"Should have listened to my da and taken the opportunity to become the priest and healer at that cozy village." He waves for the maid to bring him another ale.
Darius Redgrave __
After a good night's rest Darius casts prepares the spells needed to patch everyone up. A couple of cure spells and some restoration. "As good as new. A week of vacation and I might be able to forget about the horrors we've seen the last weeks."
"Or do you wan to run after the way immediately? You think we have a chance of catching up?"
Spugnoir2
Spugnoir doses everyone with Restoration extracts. Prepare first. If we just run in, we'll no doubt get buried under undead again> I can brew Restoration potions or at least things that can perhaps hide us from them. He looks sternly at every one. No skimping on our protections. I'm going to tape a list of my stuff on the insides of your shields.
Brother Grergof Varsk
So we are planning to take a day to prep right?
He walks to his backpack and pulls out his undead journal and a pen and ink.
That is probably a good thing, I need some time to record down all the new un-living abominations we have encountered in the past few weeks.
Then staying in his city clothing, he grabs some limited weapons (Chain shirt plus only his scimitar and dagger) he looks at the others and says.
While you all do your things, should I claim a table in our other inn and just watch to see if anyone comes looking for us?
Stam Truthfinder
"I agree with Spugs, we should stay together as we have no way to call either other if something happens. I could use some new spells maybe for combating other casters but I have figured out ways to nullify their spells as they are casting them." Stam says
Lini, owner of Everything Magic
"Scrolls of scry is no problem. The season of the jealous spouses is over - they get scarce in that time." Lini replies and fetches the scrolls out of her alphabetical file system.
"Diamond dust I also have always in stock. How much shall it be? And do you want it packed in hundreds, or thousands?"
"But Ghost salt is hard to come by. The minerals are not problem, but the ectoplasmic leftover of incorporeal undead aren't easy to find. No merchant will go harvesting those, and most adventurers don't care to collect them. I have one dose, but if you need more, you have to bring me the residue of the shosts you kill with that."
"I can of course sell you ghost touch weapons and ammunition, but that costs a multiple of that."
While talking she places the scroll and the small bottle with the salt on the counter. "That's 200 for the salt, and 700 per scroll of scrying.
Stam Truthfinder
Stam rumbles around in his coin pouch pulling out some coins and precious stones to pay the cost.
"What are we looking for for this ghost salt? If we bring you some can we do trades instead?" Stam asks
On going quest unlocked, bring Lini The Ghost Salt
Lini, owner of Everything Magic
Lini opens her safe and gets out ten packages of diamond dust. Really small envelopes in fact. "Just take a sponge and wipe up what little goo is found after you dispatch an incorporeal undead."
"That's 1400 gold from you sir, and 1200 from you."
"If you bring the ghost goo, you'll get an discount on the next batch of ghost salt you buy. What you get for your coin with the salt is better than ghost touch magic, if we're talking ammunition. But the price overall is too low for it to be worth the hassle to make a business of it. So there is not much in it for you, but to get ghost salt made and a small discount."
Lini, owner of Everything Magic
"Where are you going?" Lini asks while she gets ten vials and ten sponges, she stuffs into the vials. "I don't think you'll be able to get it out of the sponge without a solvent."
"You're sure you don't want to improve your weapon?" she asks Spugnoir. "From your purchases I conclude, that you want to kill up to ten undead, and that you have one shot for each with the salt. That doesn't sum up in my book."
Lini, owner of Everything Magic
"Are you set on improving your's or would a replacement do? Crafting such stuff takes a while."
"As for protection, may I interest you in a ring of force shield? There are other options, but I see you already wear a ring of protection and most items won't help you much with the incorporeal undead you intend to encounter."
Lini, owner of Everything Magic
"The ring is 850 platinum. An ectoplasmic rod I don't have in stock, but if you tell me which one you want I can ask around if it's available elsewhere. Wand of magic missile I have a big assortment." She grabs a mug from the shelve that looks like its full of oversized saltletts.
"Cost depends on how effective you want to have it. The best one I have is an intensified empowered one which shoots seven missiles at once. But that one is also costly. So what shall it be?"
Brother Grergof Varsk
That seems like a good idea to me. also
Lini, owner of Everything Magic
"Is it far where you go? I could offer you some scrolls of teleport, so you could quickly come back later to pick up your gun when it is finished." Lini offers.
"The enchantments on this gun would cost 600pp, for either ghost touch or undead bane. If you want both, it would cost 1600pp.
