'I have acess to the spell myself and can make some as well." Stam says thanking Lini. "We have to do some research on where we are going to day then we head out tomorrow."
What rolls do you want us to make on this place before I use Scry
There are no rolls to be made. But Scrying tells, you look on a creature and that creature gets a will save with the modifiers given in the spell description.
After finishing all business at Lini's shop the group goes for a stroll through town and to the fancy tailor shop. A sign outside tells, that it is closed for repair after a broken water pipe flooded some rooms.
Grergof looks over at Stam and says:
He's just doing his job, don't treat him like a child.
Grergof walks over to the guard:
Greetings good man. The truth is, we witnessed a vampire attack a number of humans in this building yesterday. We managed to survive the attack, but as you know Vampires are notoriously difficult to truly kill. However we have been asked by our employer to find proof of which vampire was behind this attack so he can be located and face justice.
We will not be taking anything of value, and if you wish you are welcome to accompany us and document this for your superiors. We just didn't feel we had enough evidence to involve the guard yet. But I will warn you, it may be dangerous in there, as we saw evidence of multiple vampires and they may still be there.
"You stay here, until a captain comes along. Then the captain will decide what to do." The guard tells. He would have trusted the armored clergy, but that half orc burglar and that chelaxian guy who changes stories faster than a hoe changes her underwear.
Grergof stands there fully willing to wait for the guard captain.
As he stands there he looks at Stam and says gently.
Mr. Stam, honestly is really the best policy you know.
It takes a while until a captain comes along leading a small group of guards. A short discussion ensues why Carl is standing around instead of doing his guard duties. He explains that he is very well doing his duty by hindering those foreigners from trespassing into the Nobleman's Stitch.
"Is that so?" the captain inquires from Grergof who is standing next to them. She has the 'choose your words wisely or rot in jail' look.

"I was being honest, I dropped spell components in there, blood and the Vampires do exactly what I said to the man." Stam stays quiet as he waits for Grergof to talk to the woman, Stam has a hard time staying quiet.
Good day Captain. As I was explaining to your hard working guard, we witnessed a crime in this shop yesterday....
He then explains the same thing he told the guard above. Again He offers to be escorted by the guard to ensure they do not take anything of value, but only look for items needed by their employer to locate the criminal so he can be turned over for justice.
If the captain insists hGrergof indicates he is willing to remain outside while the Garda look around first to see if there is any evidence of the crime he claims to have seen. But does warn them, that if there is a vampire it could be very dangerous.
If the Captain states there are no vampires, he starts gently asking how she explains the recent spree of murdered victims that crumble to dust at dawns first light.
They have after all broken no laws (yet) and as such he sees no reason they should be charged.
"So you are meddling in criminal affairs, that are under investigation by Captain Boverde Hoptler without informing the guard. And I don't see the owner of the Nobleman's Stitch around, and you brought a special 'key' of your own. So I assume, you didn't get his permission to enter his property either?"
"Which leaves the question who your employer is, that likes to take justice in their own hands?" Captain Casaday inquires. She observes Grergof's reaction closely and no change in expression or twitch will evade her attention.
No, Captain Hoptler made it very clear that the watch did not want any help with that investigation. So we have done nothing to meddle.
As we said we were visiting the shop last night and escaped with our lives after witnessing a vampire attack.
Because we left so quickly, we were unable to gather any evidence of the attack beyond just our accounts. Given that is not enough evidence for anyone to press formal charges off of we returned. If we gathered evidence, I trust our employer would have passed the information on to those in the guard who are investigating.
He points at the sign on the door.
It says that there was a water leak, so we assumed there would be people around inside working to fix that leak who we could talk to. We were just checking the door to see if it was open when your guard came upon us. Is it a crime to check to see if a shop door is open?
It just seemed confusing to us that a water leak would flood the building given we have not seen any evidence of water seeping under the door.
He points to the dry patch of road in front of the door.
So we were just examining the door for evidence of said flood when your man called to us, and we stopped.
He continues to be helpful, and pointing out the fact that they have done nothing wrong. (Note they never opened the door Which as I understand it is the crime of breaking and entering, and I assume they simply checked the door when the guard saw them.) And even if Spugnor did unlock the door, the guard across the street would have hard a hard time telling exactly what happened, So there should be doubt in his mind what he really saw (which Grergof is working to build up) given that he asked what we are doing.

"Teleporting in might cause an issue since I didn't have a good look around to make this easier, I could Dimension door us in." stam says as they leave.
Stam ensures Grergof, that he has enough magic, to also get them back out. A spoken word later all four are back in the tailor's shop on the blood covered balcony. No trace of flooding is seen, but the bodies are gone and there are voices heard below.
