Spugnoir throws a fire bomb at the heavily damaged mimic. Only one bomb left after this.
Fire bomb,PBS,PS,Precise,Touch: 1d20 + 13 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 13 + 2 + 2 = 346d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 3, 2, 6, 3, 5) + 6 = 30

Another coffin is disintegrated, this time by the quick expansion of an exothermic alchemical reaction. But tasty meat in sight seems to overwrite all self preservation instincts and the remaining mimic keeps attacking.
As it is no mindless creature Stam is the one who gets hit by a fake coffin lid.
Slam: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (8) + 17 = 251d8 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14

Stam is able to Maintain the spell, in the circle appears a small fire elemental. Stam points at the Coffin. "BURN IT!" Stam shouts.

Burn DC 11 to avoid: 1d4 ⇒ 1
Stam disengages from the coffin.
Brother Grergof Varsk
Grergof steps up and opens up with his silver flail on the last mimic.
Flail + Power Attack + Furious Focus + Deadly Juggernaut + Haste: 1d20 + 18 - 4 + 4 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 18 - 4 + 4 + 5 + 1 = 35

Reflex to keep flail + Haste: 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 9 + 1 = 11
After the second hit, he grunts in dissatisfaction as he can't pull back for another swing.
Ugg, another weapon stuck to these coffins!
Darius Redgrave __
Darius caughs up some blood as he becomes conscious again. "Thanks pal." He coughs some more.
"That's the second time in short succession. There are even coffins coming after me. You think that's Pharasma's way to tell me it's time to go?" he jokes, but the laughter changes over in coughing again.
Brother Grergof Varsk
Grergof lets go of his flail as the coffin moves away from him and growls in frustration.
You can not have him!
He pulls out his scimitar and steps up to the thing attacking with both hands at the sticky thing.
Scimitar + Power Attack + Furious Focus + Deadly Juggernaut + Haste: 1d20 + 14 - 4 + 4 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 14 - 4 + 4 + 5 + 1 = 27
Vital Strike Damage + Power Attack + Deadly Juggernaut + Haste: 2d6 + 7 + 12 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (1, 4) + 7 + 12 + 5 + 1 = 30
Reflex to pull back scimitar + Haste: 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 9 + 1 = 14
ARRG, this this is running me out of weapons!
Darius Redgrave __
Darius opens his eyes. "I love you Spugs."
"Everytime I see your face that way, I know it's not time to leave this world yet."
"Have you taken care of all the coffins first this time?"
Brother Grergof Varsk
Grergof tries to pry his weapons away from the coffins.
Strength + Deadly Juggernaught (Scimitar): 1d20 + 5 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 + 5 = 16
Strength + Deadly Juggernaught (S Flail): 1d20 + 5 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 + 5 = 28
Strength + Deadly Juggernaught (A Flail): 1d20 + 5 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 + 5 = 23
Hopefully I can pull away at least one.
He looks over at Darius as he does this.
You don't look so good, do you still need healing? Actually do any of you need healing?
Darius Redgrave __
"I not only need healing, I need a week or two in a convalescent home. Can we rat out that traitor to the vampire chief and then get out of this stinking hole? I need a healthy meal, a night of sleep and an undisturbed prayer time, to be able to cure me and Spugs from the bad touch of the vampires." Darisu replies.
Brother Grergof Varsk
OK let's at least see if the Vampire returned to the coffins we found downstairs. I would prefer not to fight him again.
Grergof, after getting his weapons back, does a brief search of the room, and then leads the group down to the coffins/sarcoffigus they found downstairs to see if the nasty chain wielding vampire is recovering in one of them.
Foxy Quickpaw
The room doesn't contain any more things of interest. And also the coffins in the neighboring rooms are still empty. Looks like the vampire wants to make sure not to face you in this state. And according to the knowledge you have he might have over an hour to return to whatever coffin is the right one. If it is even in this building.
There is some half-digested garbage, a few gold coins, that resist the stomach acid and a strange object with to pipes mounted to a darkwood handle and some complex mechanics to it. Astoundingly this item hasn't taken any damage. And you're sure this was rather inconvenient for the mimic, to have that in its belly and not getting it out.
+1 double barreled musket.
Brother Grergof Varsk
Looks like the board ate my last post.
You all can leave if you want. I'm staying to watch for the vampire as it most likely lairs in one of these coffins or the sarcophagus downstairs. We fought it once, and it almost Killed Father Redgrave. I am not going through that again and we will be in a better state if we bring in the traitor as well as evidence. It is worth spending an couple hours wait for that.
After checking the coffins and Sarcophagus again he sits where he can watch them all to to ensure he is there to stake the criminal if it returns to any of the coffins or especially the hidden stone sarcophagus.
Brother Grergof Varsk
Grergof Stakes the vampire.
Is this the one with the spiked chain? That is the one he is really looking for.
We can take the whole coffin if we need to. Mr. Stam, you don't happen to know a spell that makes a floating disk to carry things do you? I know I have seen some mages use that.
That might be helpful to move this coffin back to the Vampire Prince.
Brother Grergof Varsk
After all the evidence has been laid out Grergof asks:
So, clearly you can see the Whispering Way is behind much of the troubles you have. So you can see it is in your best interest to give us the help you can to stop them, as they are actively working against you.
You can also see that <Insert prisoners's name here> had nothing to do with this, and you shouldn't be keeping him prisoner, not for this.
As an aside: What is this bloodbrew elixir? It seems like this is one of the things that the vampires were being used for.
Foxy Quickpaw
There is a blur and a blink of the eye later Luvick stands next to the coffin. He rips off the lid. He raises a brow as he sees the vampire inside. Another short blur later the vampire is reduced to mist and the coffin shattered into pieces at the wall of the room. As you recover from the shock, Luvick is nowhere to be seen.
"Radvir fooled you! And now he's gone!" Luvick shouts angrily from his throne. Where he obviously reappeared somehow.
Brother Grergof Varsk
Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21
Interesting. A most cunning foe, it will make it more glorious when we catch him.
As they are leaving Grergof looks up at the vampire king.
But you know who the criminal is and can watch out for him. That makes you and yours better able to defend yourselves.
We will continue our hunt.
Foxy Quickpaw
"You have solved the crime, and brought proof. That's good enough for me. If he ever shows his face again in Caliphas it will be his last time."
He pauses and looks at the heroes in front of him. "If you haven't guessed already from the evidence in the journal, I can tell you that the Whispering Way moved on to the Abbey of Sante-Lymirin."
"And now it all makes sense. Radvir, the Whispering Way and the witches at the Abbey are in cahoots. When you meet the witches there, give them my regards, with the edge of your sword. Or whatever weapon you prefer."
"And don't be surprised if you find Radvir there. Those might be his only 'friends' left."
