Nidhi cast (defensively I presume - concentration: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (16) + 17 = 33 vs DC 23) and turns invisible. She then moves away from the cultist to the far side of the room.

Stelle, no Courage yet and no Hope either as Nidhi changed her action (and goes later in the round anyway), but a very solid hit none the less! Zilchus steps up and hits red once, missing with his backswing. Nidhi turns invisible, provoking, and flees into the room. Kosei pushes red back toward the conflagration but not quite in it. (CMD 31 after fatigue, so only moved one square.) Florence finishes off the round by blinding red and ensuring the masked woman cannot turn invisible.

Kosei rears instinctively as the layer of fire appears "Ouch! The desert is coming to us with all its wrath!"

The Garundi reacts by producing a firefly from his tunic pouch and says some words of magic. With that he immolates himself, but the flames are thin and wispy, increasing the light around. The color of the cool flames shielding him are blue.

Kosei steps back to the wall looking for a cooler area.
Can we still see each other through the layer of fire?

Also, you are taking continuous damage, so a concentration check is required to cast spells (10 + 1/2 damage dealt + spell level). For your spell, I think that's a DC 16, which should be easily made (if not automatic). :)

Florence, the wall blocks line of sight - you can dimly see through it. Shadows and shapes, but not crips forms and so cannot target beyond the wall. That stop confusion I think. Blessings of Fervor is OK, but Stelle can't be seen clearly by your init, and of course Nidhi can't be seen at all.

As Kosei begins to cast, as an immediate action, the Forgotten Pharaoh touches her falconish headband. Immediate a light tears from the crown and into Kosei!

Kosei must make a concentration check (you are correct you didn't need to make one the first time as you took no damage - so I'll use that roll for this). Unfortunately, his spell fails under the onslaught of that new damage (untyped, so I think it bypasses the fire shield, but let me know if some other protection, uh, protects you).

However, a silver lining to the cloud - Zilchus gets an AoO on the ranged attack I think.

Nidhi, the Countersong only works on spells that are 'sonic or language-dependent magical attacks'. For example, none of the spells cast in this fight, except dominate person, fall into that category. Protecting against that spell so I don't use Zilchus or Stelle as my personal body guards is a good move - just want everyone to know it won't work against fireballs, or the spells currently on the field (sirocco, frost fall, wall of fire).

Also, you didn't need to drop your bow, so by my reckoning you have a standard action left to shoot someone with if you would like. :)

Did pink just die?:
Yes, well, I just noticed that pink is in the frost fall spell area, and would have died from injuries sustained from that spell last round I suspect depending on his save. His subsequent explosion would have effected the Forgotten Pharaoh, red, and Zilchus and may have changed the round due to the possibility of blindness. So I’m saying he died without exploding as I don’t want to go back, and to have him explode now would only harm Zilchus which isn’t fair to you.

Stelle charges in, and while she fails to trip the fast-on-her-feet Pharaoh, she does an incredible amount of damage. That said, she does notice that she does less damage than she feels she should (DR applied). Zilchus tries to enter the sirocco, and falls to the floor prone from the intense winds. He takes his attack from the ground - and connects! Nidhi begins to perform, aiding the party against the Pharaoh’s spells. She also attacks, but she misses. Kosei summons a Great Wall of Thorns to hedge the woman in and keep her from flight. She takes no damage from the thorns (DR I think would apply here) but Red, being all dex, takes a bundle. Florence attempts to break Nidhi loose from her enchantment, but the spell holds firm and she fails in this attempt.

Red at the edge of the wall, is able to step out of it - but into the cold! :(

As a move action, she commands Nidhi, "Unstring your bow and wax the wood, you'll hit better!" (Nidhi, as you're still dominated, you must do as she requests. It's not an unreasonable request, so no new save.)

Round 6:

Nidhi moves to stand next to Florence and leans her back against the wall. She holds the wooden curve in one hand and tucked under her arm. Nidhi delicately plucks at the top knot of the string. "This isn't like me... I've never waxed my bow before. Grandmother does this for me," she complains to her companion. Nidhi thinks about all the times her grandmother has cared for her clothes, washed out the bloodstains, and fixed Nidhi's mistakes in the shop.

Florence watches helplessly - as best as she can through the raging flames - as her companions continue to encounter all manner of trouble on the other side of the wall. But trying to pass through it herself...no, no, she couldn't do it. Just couldn't do it.

Maybe she could blast a hole through the wall?

Stelle connects twice, but due to DR, does not quite drop the Forgotten Pharaoh. However, she does set up Zilchus, who leaps to his feet and attacks twice hitting once. Nidhi continues to sing as she unstrings and cleans her weapon. Kosei dispels his sirocco, much to the relief of the party. Florence pierces a hole in the wall, so as to make her escape from the burning…

The Forgotten Pharaoh’s screeching fades as Zilchus makes the last blow upon her. The masked cult leader lies silently on the ground, the life drained from her body. The powerful, golden funerary mask tumbles from her face, revealing her ordinary human features frozen in an expression that’s equally defiant and terrified. From her open mouth slips a glowing, ethereal winged heart that soars up toward the ceiling and passes through it, vanishing from sight. The mask itself seems to slide toward it a little even as it passes through the cold walls of the Sphinx!

Knowledge Religion DC 25*:
The spectral winged heart is an ‘ib’, a piece of the soul of the Forgotten Pharaoh. Embodied in the heart, the ib was considered an individual’s seat of emotion, thought, will, and intention.

Red, seeing which way the winds are blowing, steps closer to Kosei and Stelle, touches his chest, and dies, exploding in a fiery light. Flaming snakes rise up out of his body and thrash at Zilchus and Kosei. (Those two and Stelle & Annubis may be blinded too, but as it’s only a round, and combat’s over, I’m going to ignore it.)

We are out of combat.

The chamber grows quiet, save for the roaring flaming wall which lingers for several more rounds (though those on the wrong side can get on the right side this round with no further damage thanks to the hole). Blue is still bleeding to death if you want to try and save him.
