Ok, I'll plan to start that up in a few days then so everyone can review their characters. I think three of you have checked back in now and I talked to BS/Pierre about it the other day. Rycky is still around in my other games but haven't heard from him or Ryfelwr about this one. I'll send them PMs tomorrow to see if they're still interested.

Umaga if finishing The Night March, and will hopefully be done in the next week or so. Once I double check about leveling, as well as see if I can do City I am otherwise in.

Okay, so Brak (Ftr), Umaga (Ftr), Zax (Pal), and Pierre (Rog); Rhy is AWoL.

Both of my CORE characters are casters, and with three melee types it doesn't look like we'll need more muscle from my aspirant eldritch knight Droghedor, so I'll stick with Hingle.

Should we recruit a sixth?

I'm good one way or the other. Five makes for an efficient party, 6 makes it safer. Whatever people want.

I'll leave it up to you guys. It doesn't really matter to me either way.

Umaga will be 4rd level after I get done. Starting last battle in Night March and did 10 damage so far. Hopefully I don't get whacked too hard in return.

I have a couple lower level PC if I am too high to do anything or put us in an unhappy tier, so please speak up in the event :)

So if I have this right, it'd be 2, 2, 2, 2, 4? That still leaves us at the lower tier, even with Umaga. If that's correct, I say we stick with 5 characters.

Hail! I'll be mostly incommunicado from Thursday night until Sunday night. I'll be at Total Con running an unreasonable amount of games (I set a goal for myself of earning my 5th star there, and it means running 4 specials in one weekend, two of them multitable.) Bot me as needed.

As a heads up, I will be taking the Illinois Bar Exam on Tuesday and Wednesday and travelling to Chicago on Monday. I am aiming to still get posts up, but I cannot promise that it will happen.

Hey guys, I'm back and ready to go. That being said, This week is going to be insanely busy for me a few days.

Wednesday: Driving down to NYC to see Iron Maiden. I won't be checking the boards at ALL Wednesday until Thursday afternoon.

Weekend: Normally I'm pretty good about posting on the weekends, but I'm the chief referee for a tournament this weekend, and my tournament weekend begins right after school Friday, so I'll be off the boards Friday afternoon until Monday morning.

School is out next week. I'll be around (no exaggeration, the stack of papers I have to correct is more than 2,000 pages long.) I might not be quite as fast as normal, but I'll be here. As always, if I'm the player and I'm taking too long, either message me somehow or bot me.

Hey guys, just giving you a heads up now, but I'm going to be completely MIA from Thursday night to Sunday morning. Normally I find time to squeeze in a post or two, but I'm spending the weekend as one member of a 12 person relay team running about 200 miles from Boston to Provincetown. We do it because we're crazy, but my fiancee's mother past away from cancer, so we run to support the ACA.

I'll be back to posting ASAP, but I figured I'd give you the heads up now.

I will be going on vacation starting Saturday the 14th. Its unlikely I will be bringing my computer this time so I will be pretty much out of action until the evening of the 21st. I may try to update from my phone when possible. Please bot my PCs as best you can.

I don't think I realized how many games we're both in :-)

Preemptively posting: EF I know you have a big test coming up and things can get super busy. If you need to put this one back to sleep, I totally understand. As Hingle says "real life comes first".

Yes, actually you anticipated the announcement I was going to make later tonight.

I've got a big exam all week next week and after that I have to start writing my thesis proposal, due August 23. So with a very busy summer ahead of me, I am putting this campaign to sleep. In fact, with such a long break I think it will be a permanent sleep. I hope to run more core games in the future, but it probably won't be until this fall at the soonest (after I have defended my proposal and after my PbP APs have finished up) and I will probably run them through the Flaxseed Lodge. So keep a watch there for future games later this year!

Oh no! I was hoping to keep this ground together. Ah well, no worries. I'm willing to wait if others are though I completely understand if the others want to play other Core games that may come available.

I only have 3 Core PCs (so far... don't tempt me!) so I can play just about anything.

Don't get me wrong, if the group wants to stay on the shelf until fall, then I have 30 other PFS characters. I can be easily persuaded.

Oh wow, I "only" have 25, LOL.

I will be retiring this character in the off chance that this gets going again. If that helps people decide.

OK cool, Zax will go help some innocents for a while or something. Hopefully EF will be able to pick this back up after things simmer down.

Ok, it sounds like everyone wants this to keep going, even if it is put on hold for a few months. You are welcome to play your characters between now and then as long as no one character gains a ton of XP and leaves everyone in the dust level-wise.

By the end of August I will done with my proposal defense and might even be done with my RotR and Shattered Star games. Once those three things happen, I'll be ready to continue with this mini-campaign. So let's tentatively say September.

Sounds good to me, though I completely expect you to run another AP after SS is finished. Ha!

OK, expect is a strong word, hope is better. But SS has been great. When that ends its going to leave a HUGE void for me that I'll need to fill somehow.

Ugh, yeah. I told myself that my AP days were over once my current ones finished, at least for the foreseeable future. But then they had to announce a f#$%ing AP inspired by Lovecraft and tempt me....

At the very least I will probably renew my subscription for those six months so I can at least flip through it.

Well EF, if you think about running strange Aeons, I'll fight anyone and everyone in gladiatorial combat for a slot ;-)

I will just exercise dibs for one of the spots in an EF Aeons game should it come to pass.

Run? Damn, I want to play it! But seriously, we'll see when the time comes. If things are slow enough I wouldn't mind being on both sides of the table.

LOL I would be happy on both sides. I built myself some guidelines for my bandwidth. This way I know when I'm pushing the limit. If I picked up an AP it would mean having one fewer PFS scenario game at a time.

Whenever you close this thread EF is good. I'll be around for Strange Aeons or this either way.
