Iolaire |

When you say beholden you mean 'doesnt like her much apart from the bestial sex' right?

Thrall the Lucky |

Yeah, Thrall got a bit carried away by the situation. He saw his mates in danger and didn't think twice.

Balthasar Heimren |

Excellent.

Serena, the Hyperborean |

Levelup Summary:
HP: 5 + 2 Con
FCB: +1 1st-level spell known
ASI: +1 Cha
A few spells and skills. Stickin' close to Serena's roots with her 2nd-level spell being Glitterdust. XD Not a very complicated levelup, all things considered. Searing Ray gets another 1d6+1, though, and is starting to enter the realm of reasonably good damage. XD

Bitey Nice Nice |

1d12 ⇒ 9
So, I'm going to admit to a mistake made. Bitey's AC is incorrect as all get out. Not sure how I messed it up so bad but I will be fixing it.
For refferance, his ac says 20... with the chain shirt it should be 19. I think I forgot to not use the full dex due to armor.

Level 1 spell: any ideas?

Balthasar Heimren |

Divine Favor or Protection from Evil. They really are the most useful spells in our current circumstances, I think. Plus, you have to pray for them, so you can always switch it out, depending on the day.

Thrall the Lucky |

Thrall's Level Up:
+1 Strength

Sacred Weapon +1
FCB: +1/6 Bonus Feat
Also, do any of you guys want the Cloak of Resistance?

![]() |

Also if possible, this might be a good chance to split any of the material wealth we've acquired. While the defenders might not have much we may be able to barter with them. Personally, I think Arianna might be interested in getting a Masterwork or Magical dagger, although someone else may have to do the actual purchasing.

Iolaire |

I'll happily go shopping for you Arianna, and as for the cloak - I'd say yes, but I'm a paladin. There are people who need it more than me! :)

Balthasar Heimren |

I'd say give it to Serena - casters tend to have the weakest saving throws.
I agree on actually selling and divvying up some of the wealth we've found. I'll take a look at what we've got and figure it out.

Balthasar Heimren |

Okay, so before we start divvying everything up, I noticed that we didn't update the loot sheet at certain places, so I'm doing that now. Also, we appear to not have been given any loot at Blackwing Library, despite taking one of the cultists prisoner. Was that an oversight, or was there no loot?

Thrall the Lucky |

Be it so, then. When we have some spare time, if Thrall has the chance or the money, he will memorise the spell to turn his greatsword into a masterwork one (unless there's one to spare, of course :P).

GM Choon |

From blacking you should have received:
potions of cure light wounds (2, banded mail, light steel shield, +1 heavy mace, 29 gp
A damaged wizard's spellbook. The few legible remaining pages contain the following spells: alarm, dismissal, dispel ma.!Jic, ma.!Jic circle aJJainst chaos, resist energy, and versatile weapon. The spellbook is worth 700 gp. In addition, a parchment scroll of dimensional lock is folded up and tucked into the book's pages.
Also of interest, a half-dozen leathery gray strips of what appears at first to be flesh, but that, upon closer examination, looks to be dried worms of some sort about as long as a human finger. A successful DC 15 Knowledge (nature) check reveals the worms are of no known species from the natural world.

Balthasar Heimren |

Great, thanks.
Okay, so going through all that, we come to the following totals:
Coin
PP: 11
GP: 1578
SP: 759
CP: 2310
Gems & Art
3 chips lapis lazuli - 30 GP total
2 bloodstones - 100 gp total
1 citrine - 50 gp
1 white pearl - 50 gp
Darkwood sword box - 200 gp
Fine housewares - 450 gp
Consumables
2 flasks of oil
11 Potions of CLW
4 Potions of Lesser Restoration
2 Potions of darkvision
2 Potions of CMW
5 Potions of Invisibility
Scroll of cause fear
Scroll of comprehend languages
Scroll of Bear's Endurance
Scroll of Remove Disease
Scroll of Dimensional Lock
1 Unholy Water - To be Destroyed?
Wand of spiritual weapon (8 charges)
Wand of magic missile - (CL 3, 11 charges)
Wand of CMW (9 charges)
Wand of bless weapon (18 charges)
2 Alchemist's fire
Tanglefoot bag
Antitoxin
Okay, everything above this line is something we should either keep, or can be sold for its straight gold value - it isn't something anyone might want to claim as equipment (Potions are divided up below). Everyone should look over the list and see if they want any of the weapons, armor, or other gear. There are arrows up there if Aria needs to grab any, and +1 bolts for anyone who uses a crossbow as their main ranged weapon.
Potion Distribution
I'm only suggesting a potion distribution. The Wands and scrolls only apply to either Thrall/Iolaire or Serena/Aria, so I'm leaving it to them to decide who gets what on their own.
Aria: 1 potion of CLW
Arianna: 2 potions of CLW
Balthasar: 1 potion of CLW
Bitey: 2 potion of CLW, Potion of CMW
Iolaire: 1 potions of CLW, Potion of Darkvision
Serena: 1 potion of CLW
Thrall: 1 potions of CLW
Vance: 2 potions of CLW, Potion of Darkvision, Potion of CMW
Group (used as needed): 5 potions of invisibility, 4 potions of lesser restoration
Speaking of, are Aria and Vance still with us? I don't think I've seen them post in a while.

Serena, the Hyperborean |

For what it's worth, I'm actively investing in UMD - I should be able to activate most things. XD If nobody else wants it, Serena should probably take the Wand of CMW, too - that spreads out our options and ensures someone besides Iolaire and Thrall can do healing in a pinch. (If we're not in a pinch, she can just pass the wand back over so we don't even have to roll UMD.)

Thrall the Lucky |

And I'm sure they have a mwk greatsword around there somewhere, Thrall.
Nice! When we divide the coin, I will gladly pay for it. Then, if the rest are properly armored, I could take the banded mail (and make it masterwork myself).
Also, guys, note that selling the wares is probably out of the equation right now, with Kenabres in such a state (and do we have anyone who knows how to appraise and sell items?).
I agree on Balthasar's assignment of the potions and Serena keeping the wand.

![]() |

Unsurprisingly, the rogue would not mind taking some of those potions of invisibility if no one objects.
Arianna has +7 to appraise so taking 10 would put it at 17.
Also while we may not be able to sell the items, we might be able to use them as barter.

Iolaire |

Fine with the potions. Somewhere in the future Io would like better armor, but we've got enough frontliners that since she fights with reach she's not taking hits - so I'm not terribly worried.

Balthasar Heimren |

GM, are we going to be able to sell the stuff we've found?

GM Choon |

You may be able to barter it.
For any item you want too a d100. On a 35+ you are able to find that item. You must trade away items worth at least as much as that item's value. I will show you to use the full price of everything you have recovered for this. Coin has little value anymore in this specific situation.

Balthasar Heimren |

Okay. Looking for a masterwork cold iron longsword.
Percentile?: 1d100 ⇒ 69
And they have one! Is everyone okay with me swapping one of our 8 masterwork glaives for one? I figure I can also swap my cold iron longsword, as well, to cover the cost (330 gp for longsword, swap for 340 gp from the glaive and the longsword).
Light Armor wearers: We have 4 masterwork chain shirts, if anyone wants to upgrade.

![]() |

Depending on how much we each get Arianna will seek out the following and generally in this order:
Masterwork dagger for main hand: 1d100 ⇒ 23
Masterwork thieves tools: 1d100 ⇒ 20
Masterwork dagger for off hand 1d100 ⇒ 85
So since the first one failed I assume the second doesn't matter

Balthasar Heimren |

Counting only the six of us who leveled up, from just weapons and armor, including all of the magic weapons except the morningstar +1 Balthasar has, everyone gets the equivalent 2147 gp to spend. I have not factored anything else into that formula, since I suspect that there may stuff people want to claim. There's a masterwork backpack, for instance, that someone with a low strength may want to grab. Since no one has claimed any other magic or masterwork weapons or the magic shields, I'm assuming no one wants them.
Thrall, I did count the banded mail in that total, as well.

GM Choon |

And this is a barter system right now. Things can't be sold for coin as coin is useless at the moment. You have to trade items in for the items you want. You may lose gold in this process, technically, but it's a desperate time. You gotta do what you gotta do. I am allowing you to use the full price of items for the trade due to scarcity of supplies. You're bound to find someone who will trade full price with you.

Balthasar Heimren |

There's that, too, which is why I just asked if everyone was okay with me using one of our 8 masterwork glaives for my trade. Rather than divvy stuff up, let's just ask about using something for trading purposes.

Thrall the Lucky |

Oh well, then Thrall will use (if everybody agrees) one of the masterwork glaives to trade for a masterwork greatsword (adding something up to make for the difference), and anything else to acquire the components needed to turn the banded mail into a masterwork one (via the spell). Should we roleplay this?

Serena, the Hyperborean |

Serena has no objection to other people grabbing weapons. XD She would recommend getting anything taken from enemies blessed by a cleric, though, just to be on the safe side.

Iolaire |

Io doesn't need a new weapon (Radiance! :D) As to armor she'd love a mwrk breastplate if one can be found (350gp, so a glaive and a bit more)
Available?: 1d100 ⇒ 12 Rats! :(

Balthasar Heimren |

Could see if they have a Cloak of Resistance - and Balthasar might trust Bitey to carry supplies. He's been very impressed with the goblin's loyalty and courage thus far.
I'll swap a glaive an my longsword for the masterwork one, and then I'll take a masterwork chain shirt from the loot. Does anyone mind if I take the +1 light wooden shield we found? It has the same AC value as my current one, but it saves on ACP, which might not be bad.
EDIT: I'm also gonna look for a composite longbow (Str +0). I need a better ranged option than 2 daggers.
Do they have it?: 1d100 ⇒ 69
Yes they do! I'll just swap my normal chain shirt for it - both are 100 gp.
20 Cold iron arrows?: 1d100 ⇒ 49
And I'll swap a regular dagger for 20 cold iron arrows.

![]() |

Apologies for the long delay. Vance gained Knockout this level, and Unarmed Strike damage went to 1d8.
mw heavy steel shield: 1d100 ⇒ 31
mw cold iron dagger: 1d100 ⇒ 9

Iolaire |

Hey Everyone, I'm away for the next twelve days in Florida - going to Disney World for the first time!
I won't be able to check my games while I'm away so I'm on pause until the 10th (or possibly the 11th if I'm too jet-lagged!).
Please feel free to bot me as the situation requires! :)
