We're all paladins, priests and other kinds of Iomedae worshippers, we are clearly the good boys xD

M Goblin Barbarian(Feral Gnasher/ Unchained) 6 Guardian 1

Bitey is the best boy.

Silver Crusade

Female Half-Elf Rogue Unchained 6/ Trickster 1 | HP 34/34 | AC 17 Touch 15 Flatfooted 12 | CMB: +5 CMD: 20|

Don't put that good boy label on me. I gotta misbehave every so often.

M Goblin Barbarian(Feral Gnasher/ Unchained) 6 Guardian 1

Bitey is not the one who should be deciding tactics, so someone needs to take lead.

[Active: Mage Armor] Sor 6/Arch 1 | HP: 46/46 | AC: 13 [17] / T: 13 / FF: 10 [14] / Imm: Dazz/Patt | Fort: +4, Ref: +5, Will: +6 | R. Atk: +6 | CMB: 2, CMD: 15 | Init: 9, Perception: +10

Serena should definitely stay towards the rear. XD

Vance [ooc]insert emo 'it was my fault she died' roleplaying here[ooc] will suggest pairing up Serena with himself and Bitey with Thrall. Bitey is a bit less vulnerable, than our sorcerer.

Vance and Bitey (Team A) will attack primary targets, Bitey charges things Vance can keep up. Vance can move targets around if we're getting jammed up.

Thrall and Serena (Team B) move to secondary targets, by default change.

From the back, Balthasar can call shots, and support who he deems most in need Arianna can begin here. (Team C)

Marching Formations:

Single File:
Rear > Arianna > Balthasar > Serena > Thrall > Bitey > Vance > Front

DoubleFile:
R > Balthasar > Serena > Vance > F
R > Arianna > Thrall > Bitey > F

Tactics

"Victory" multiple targets; Vance and Bitey pick a target, Serena swaps teams with Arianna. Balthasar can pick their targets

"Heart" For single targets; Bitey and Vance make room in the front Thrall comes up the middle. Serena stays behind Balthasar when he advances Arianna targets weak positions

"Endurance" retreat; a defender (Vance Thrall or Balthasar) will call everyone to a position they can defend..doorway, staircase. Flee immediately, to their position if you can take a downed ally, do it.

I'd put Arianna a little ahead to be the foreword scout and so, hopefully, with her stealth/acrobatics get into flanking positions in order to be the most valuable to the group. She is melee twf rogue with mostly minimal range ability, especially with -4 for in melee penalties.

Male Human Cavalier (Standard Bearer) 4/Paladin (Holy Tactician) 2/Champion 1| AC 21, touch 12, flat-footed 18 | HP 57/57 | Fort +11, Ref +5, Will +10 | Init +2 | Perception +1 | Weal's Champion 1/1 | Challenge 2/2 | Lay on Hands 3/3 | Mythic Power 5/5

The big thing is avoiding a logjam like we encountered previously, and not splitting the party. If we'd avoided the party split, I think we might have been able to clear the first floor, then moved on to the second. I like Vance's marching orders, although if Arianna is going to be our forward scout, I may need to be in the back alone. Switch Serena with Arianna - I'll bring up the rear, regardless.

Yeah I had considered swapping the two, so that's fine. Vance's proposed formations are for breaching actions, which I imagine is what we'll be primarily encountering on the return to the Grey Garrison

I'm going to be traveling this weekend. I'll have my phone, but may be unable to post. Please bot me if necessary.

Will not get a post up tonight, I will post after shabbat ends as I don't have enough time before sundown tonight.

M Goblin Barbarian(Feral Gnasher/ Unchained) 6 Guardian 1

Does Bitey's thirty mean he has a grip on the beast. Forgot to put in the =grab to differentiate the rolls as I should have.

The Man. The Myth. The Mask!

Yes, he does

Male Human Cavalier (Standard Bearer) 4/Paladin (Holy Tactician) 2/Champion 1| AC 21, touch 12, flat-footed 18 | HP 57/57 | Fort +11, Ref +5, Will +10 | Init +2 | Perception +1 | Weal's Champion 1/1 | Challenge 2/2 | Lay on Hands 3/3 | Mythic Power 5/5

So, does anyone have ranks in Knowledge (Planes)? Because if not, I'll need to see if it's worth it for me to put ranks in as a non-class skill when we level up.

[Active: Mage Armor] Sor 6/Arch 1 | HP: 46/46 | AC: 13 [17] / T: 13 / FF: 10 [14] / Imm: Dazz/Patt | Fort: +4, Ref: +5, Will: +6 | R. Atk: +6 | CMB: 2, CMD: 15 | Init: 9, Perception: +10

I've got a +3 in it. ...Not a fantastic score, but there's a lot of planar threats here, so it's not a terrible investment.

M Goblin Barbarian(Feral Gnasher/ Unchained) 6 Guardian 1

Bitey has started stress eating due to loss of friends.

M Goblin Barbarian(Feral Gnasher/ Unchained) 6 Guardian 1

Have we done everything before heading up to the top?

The Man. The Myth. The Mask!

Everything besides cleaning up the pool, yup. Just need scouting rolls from Arianna

M Goblin Barbarian(Feral Gnasher/ Unchained) 6 Guardian 1

Let me make sure I understand. Is the minotaur grappled or did I miss him breaking it? Important part of grapple, "In addition, grappled creatures can take no action that requires two hands to perform" stops greataxe but not horns and hoofs.

The Man. The Myth. The Mask!

You did get him, so the ax is now disabled. You can guess who he'll be squshing next though. ;)

Silver Crusade

Female Half-Elf Rogue Unchained 6/ Trickster 1 | HP 34/34 | AC 17 Touch 15 Flatfooted 12 | CMB: +5 CMD: 20|

What i think bitey is getting at is that if he'd been grappled wouldn't thrall still be up?

The Man. The Myth. The Mask!

Thrall is down due to the attack of opportunity he provoked by approaching first in line. If Bitey would like to make himself be the first to approach he can take the attack of opportunity instead. ;)

And now, the dilemma.

If Thrall tries to stand up, he'll get an AoO from the Minotaur, possibly sealing his fate for good. Courtesy of King Minos himself. But the stubborn half orc wouldn't stay down, would he? :)

Male Human Cavalier (Standard Bearer) 4/Paladin (Holy Tactician) 2/Champion 1| AC 21, touch 12, flat-footed 18 | HP 57/57 | Fort +11, Ref +5, Will +10 | Init +2 | Perception +1 | Weal's Champion 1/1 | Challenge 2/2 | Lay on Hands 3/3 | Mythic Power 5/5

That’s what I’m holding off posting for. If Thrall stands, there’s no room for me on the Minotaur. If Thrall stays put, I can.

Of course, the Minotaur can’t use its greataxe, and has the grappled condition to impose penalties to hit, along with bewildering strike.

Well, since he was unconscious when Bitey acted, I think we can safely say Thrall is not aware yet of the small goblin hero being attached to the Mino. Therefore, I think the most probable action he'll attempt is trying to roll out of its reach to stand up safely, them recover and go back to melee if there's still room. I'll post that tomorrow, it's a bit late here and I'm a bit tired - I've been with my nieces the whole day.

Incidentally, if anyone's interested in taking a look, I've started adding content from the Mythic Character Codex to the Spheres of Power Wiki. I plan to eventually get to the creatures and stuff, too, in case the GM wants to throw anything new at us. XD

Due to Shavuot I will not be on till Monday night. Bot as needed.

GM, does Radiance automatically activate in my hands once I take a level of Paladin, or do I need to do something else?

It automatically activates.

Okay. What are Radiance's current effects?

The Man. The Myth. The Mask!

+1 Cold Iron shining as a torch on command. Here's the full text:

Radiance:

In 4692 AR, soon after the start of the
Fourth Crusade, a paladin of lomedae
and renowned demon slayer named
Yaniel spoke out against the Mendevian
crusaders, accusing them of negligence
and sloth, and claiming these faults
were what allowed Khorramzadeh to
invade Kenabres and damage the wardstone. Her accusations
cut too close to the truth, and in a moment of weakness her
superiors threatened to excommunicate her. Instead, she
said she would enter the Worldwound and fight the Fourth
Crusade on her own, with only her magic sword Radiance for
company. The church was happy to see Yaniel go, and in the 2
years that followed, she was thought to have been slain. Yet
when she returned to Kenabres in 4694 AR, leading a small
army of crusaders she'd rescued, both Yaniel and her superiors
had changed. For her part, Yaniel had shed her pride and
insubordination, and had gained a new appreciation for the
difficult decisions leaders are forced to make. And the church
leaders had learned that sometimes the truth is exactly what
you need to hear. Alas, Yaniel was assassinated before the
year was out, slain by the lilitu demon Minagho only a week
into her second personal crusade. Her followers managed
to return to Kenabres with Radiance, but Yaniel's body had
been taken. The sword had gone dark after Yaniel's death, its
magical powers apparently lost, and so the crusaders elected
to place it in the Gray Garrison on display.
Radiance was once a powerful weapon, yet since Yaniel's
death the blade has become inert. When handled by a paladin,
however, the blade suddenly glows with golden light and
functions as a +1 cold iron longsword that radiates light as a
torch on command. The weapon shifts and changes its form to
match the paladin's deity's favored weapon (in the hands of a
paladin who doesn't worship a deity, the weapon remains a +1
longsword). Certain events and tasks can awaken Radiance's
latent powers.
In addition, Radiance is a legendary item (Pathfinder RPG
Mythic Adventures 1 69) that bonds with a mythic paladin as
soon as it is wielded in combat-in this adventure, Radiance
bonds if a paladin uses it in the final encounter against Vorlesh's
babaus. The weapon has two daily uses of legendary power
that recharge each day, but does not currently possess any
legendary attributes, for it has yet to be wielded by a mythic
paladin. As Radiance has its own ability to grow in power, it
cannot be given the upgradable legendary item ability.

Thanks. Once everyone levels up, I'll roll initiative and write up a nice, descriptive scene for Radiance's sudden awakening.

I am having to do a hard thing. The hardest thing to do as a gamer I think. I am having to cut the number of games I am in.

We recently had a tragic death befall the family, on top of an already expected loss. Add to that the youngest having to go back in for a surgery in a few weeks and I will not ha ve the time I need for all the games I am in.

Thank you all for the time we have spent together, and happy gaming.

The Man. The Myth. The Mask!

Sorry to hear that, Bitey. Honestly, my life has taken a toll on my ability to GM as well, though not due to tragedy such as yours. My Condolences

You have also reached the end of book one in spite of my slowness. sorry this took so long, but my life has taken a turn for the crazy and has severely restricted by GM time.
