I'm in a five-man party, and three of the other members are solid front-line fighters. I'm trying to play a Rogue/Shadowdancer whose specialty is sniping and using Hide in Plain Sight and a shortbow. My question is, since I have to take Combat Reflexes anyway to qualify for Shadowdancer, what can I do with that feat to make it useful? I can't use my bow for regular attacks of opportunity, right? Would it be worth my time to use a whip or a spear or something?
Sorry for the dumb question, but I've never played a Shadowdancer before and am mostly just trying to optimize a high stealth, sniping rogue build. So any advice on that subject is totally welcome. Maybe Shadowdancer isn't even the way to go! I'm more used to straight melee Fighter-types, so I'm really not sure how to go with this one.
