Celia was raised in the Underbridge area of Magnimar. She's the second oldest of 5 childern. She grew up poor like most of those in Underbridge. From the days of her childhood, Celia was facinated by the haunting runes and ingravings carved on the pilars of the Irespan. She would often study them for hours copying pictures of them with charcoal her father a chimeny sweep would give her. Her mother served as a house maid until Celia was 14 she either helped her mother with cleaning at wealthier peoples homes or help her sister Hester, take care of her three younger siblings.
At the age of 15 Celia was promised to marry to an older widower.. It would have helped her family greatly finacially. Though the older merchant wasn't a bad man it didn't sit well with Celia. She instead choose to support her family by training at the Serpent's run as a Gladiator. An exbition match is where Celia was discovered and recruited by the Pathfinders.
