Yeah, same here. The one-way telepathy's nice, though. The more I'm reading up on psionics, the more I'm liking them. Currently thinking about taking a 1-3 level dip into the Elocuter PrC so I can flank from the ceiling. Maybe not super optimized, but quite fun. :-)
That does sound quite fun.
The only real way to get more back amd forth i think at this point is someone breaking free or a little plot progression.
what's really fun about elocator is the trolling you can do with personal gravity
step one put bed upside down
step two get under bead
step three re-orientate gravity
in 3.5 this was a full progression casting class and you got spring attack as a bonus feat at lvl 1
a mundane utility type thing of the class is the ability to completely ignore pressure sensors and lower trip wires
I believe rules wise I can in fact take twenty on Disable Device, though whether we are under duress I honestly can't say. You could say that we are since our impending doom is upon us, though you could also argue "Eh, what's the worst they could do to me if I get caught trying to escape...kill me? Bwahahaha" And as far as taking our time...well we have three days ^^. But I understand if duress is placed and I can't.
I think the noise factor would prevent Taking 20, but I'm not sure. You probably take the improvised tools penalty, though. :-(

Well, I took the non masterwork tools bit versus improvised which may have been a bit of an assumption on my part. I partially assumed I had at least done this a few times in times past but it could just be a +3 only instead of +5

Sorry for being absent the past two days everyone! I've been busy with the standard pre-Thanksgiving college work and family stuff. Hopefully no one is disheartened by this turn of events. I'm going to inform you guys that my activity might drop a little during the coming two weeks due to finals.
I'm still here! There was no Internet at the boondocks-ish area we stayed at for the holidays. Nonetheless I apologize for my absence as I should have anticipated such and prepared accordingly. Logging on to post this quickly because, looking at my student page for my college, Dr.O's finals are do-at-home essays due on Tuesday. Presumably I can easily get the mw lockpick either by catching it with my own hands or by using my tail to retrieve so I am gonna go on that assumption unless I get corrected then I shall fix it ^^. I'm gonna go with the idea that I can do the skill without any minuses so just let me know when I succeed. I'm gonna go for just doing a quick five attempts hoping I don't get noticed to unlock my own.
