Gurwen |

Hey guys.
Because it is a very strong possibility I will fail chemistry despite my best efforts, I am studying my ass off. I am so sorry I have been gone for so long, but after next week, its up to the professor. Pray for me and send me good vibes, because I am sinking in a sea of stress.

Jaq, Servant of Sifkesh |

You can do it! I'll send lots of good thoughts your way!

GM Blade of Heaven |

Praying for you, Gurwen! *Casts Miracle* If you need help with sciencey subjects, feel free to ask me as I love most aspects of science except for methodology, because rules are boring.
Same goes for anyone else here, you need help with academics (Most subjects, Math being the one I probably could not help with,) just ask me. The worst I can do is say I'll get back to you later after I'm not busy or I simply don't know. It may take me extra time to do so, but I'm willing to do it. It's morally good, personally satisfying, and it'll help keep the game running smooth.
About to log off in a few minutes.

Jaq, Servant of Sifkesh |

Did that map ever go up? I did a double check, but didn't see it.

Vritra |

Firstly, turns out I have Improved Unarmed Strike. So I can try killing the guard at the door, no guarantee of silence however. Would that end up breaking the Charm Person though?
Secondly, BWAHAHAHA!
Third, updated my statblock to include Raging attack routines, and such.

Jaq, Servant of Sifkesh |

Well, Jaq could send him your way... Very easily send him your way.

Veldrin d'Shraen |

Not that it matters too much, but two things regarding Jaq's Bluff mod:
1) I don't think Hersey plus Infiltrator lets you add your Wis mod twice.
2) Even if it did, you still only have a +14 on your sheet. Where's the extra +3 from?
Also, lets try really hard not to break my charm. An extra ally will be most useful, trust me.

Jaq, Servant of Sifkesh |

Infiltrator says in addition to Ability score mod. So Heresy replaces the ability score, and Infiltrator is a bonus in addition to it. I'll double check my sheet I was using to double check my math. That's the number it had there. I'm double checking again.

Veldrin d'Shraen |

Infiltrator adds your Wis mod in addition to your Cha.
Heresy replaces your Cha mod with Wis.
Honestly, I could see it both ways. I'll leave it to you and the GM.
I only checked cuz I was curious how it got so high. I love a good high bonus to a skill character, so color me impressed, especially without either feat to help.
As it stands you only lose +1 if you can't double Wis

Jaq, Servant of Sifkesh |

Also, will it break your charm if the non-charmed guard is attacked? Because its not a threat to the charmed guard, just his companion. I double checked on the spell and it seems like a grey area there.

The Cloaked One |

No problem about being the last guy unlocked. I haven't revealed it yet, but I have the highest Disable Device and can fight unarmed. Once this breakout gets violent, the guards won't know what hit them. :-)

GM Blade of Heaven |

Here's some of my rulings on questions!
Attacking the non-charmed guard and the charmed one's reaction: Attacking will cause Veldrin to have to make an opposed CHA check to keep the charm from breaking on the other guard. It's entirely possible he may maintain control, but it's a risk nonetheless.
Infiltrator+Heresy: I rule that they stack, given the gestalt nature of the campaign. Why have class abilities that are wasted? After all, there is no explicit rule stating that they do not stack, so I rule in favor of stacking!

The Cloaked One |

Could be worse. Gurwhen went with a bonded object, so she gets to make concentration checks to cast anything. Speaking of which, she's swamped with finals but should be back next week.

Vritra |

The updated playtest was released yesterday, and I have not had to change anything as of right now for the Bloodrager portion of my build.

GM Blade of Heaven |

Good to hear, Vritra!
By the way, I'll post in a bit, just posting a message in all my campaigns! See below to see what! Just realized how bad that sentence structuring is!
I've decided to sell or give away all of my video games and systems because they interfere with me doing more important things, like helping other people, getting college work done, ect. There's another, more important reason, but I digress Now, I have games for 360, PS3, X-Box, PS2, GBA, PS1, and GameCube that I'm looking to get rid of.
I'll give you one game for free from my massive library of 100+ games and can sell you others pretty dirt cheap. I'll be using the money I make for charitable purposes, so the money won't be wasted if you choose to buy one. Even if you get the free one, though, I'll just ask to be reimbursed the shipping, but I believe that's fair (You can send it after you get the game,).
If anyone is interested, just let me know and I'll compile a list! About the only kind of games I do not own are sports games, because I'm one of those rare few guys who doesn't get into sports, except for fencing!
Oh, and I haven't drank anything, I am just choosing to restructure my life in a better way, so yes, I know what I'm doing! ;)

Veldrin d'Shraen |

Sounds awesome! I'll PM ya, but first,
TO THE GAME!!
I'm itching to find out what's the deal with my new friend :)

Veldrin d'Shraen |

Hey Blade, just an fyi, added in Veldrin's Curse(Haunted), as well as descriptions of his class features.

GM Blade of Heaven |

Ok, that's it! Well, plus about a hundred more already chosen as Christmas presents, but no point in listing those!
After you pick a free game, you can also choose to add an old game for $5 (GBA games, $1,), or a new game (Meaning 360/PS3/Wii,) game for between $5-$10. If you find a cheaper price for one you are interested in on GameStop, let me know and I'll match it! With very few exceptions, my discs are immaculate, with maybe a few specks of dust on them, unless I bought them with scratches. Even those scratched have been buffed so that they play smoothly. I will likely handle actual purchases through E-Bay or something like that so you'll know this is legit. Those only getting a free game will be operating on an honor code: once the game is received, mail back the shipping costs to cover my fees. Ok, anyone wanting, PM now!

GM Blade of Heaven |

MonkeyGod, I have a regular Playstation I can sell for $5-10!
Lord Foul II, that's bad news bears! I would have been quite angry! Do you need a controller or no? I can knock $5 off if you don't!
I'm surprised I've only got one 'I think you may be crazy'-ish reply! I know my local friends were absolutely stunned when I said this. Then again, they've known me for years as the best gamer in the region (A few even quit playing me because it was usually like 50-0!). Example: played against a tournament winner in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Minus version on (Every character is ridiculously overpowered, eliminating the previous character power gaps,) and beat him 30-12 as Lucario in less than 30 minutes and believe me, he was a VERY twitchy dodger! I also played Armored Core: For answer and ended the match against a top-tier online player within 10 seconds with my laser blades on my Salvation core. I told them I wasn't going to quit playing, but I was getting rid of all of it from my personal life. Many reasons, but they boil down to economic, temporal, philosophical, religious, and moral reasons. I simply don't have space to be a moral contributer to society, hold a job after college, be involved in my family, practice my faith, work on my inventions/theories, and be a big-time gamer all at once! Even with a 189 IQ (Weschler,) it is quite impossible! Hope that cleared up any 'this man has lost his mind worse than his Mad Minxie Frubjubber alias' thoughts that may be in people's heads! ;)

GM Blade of Heaven |

Ah, I see. Well, just let me know if you find it/them! Oh and I forgot to mention, this one of the newer 'slim' model PS2's.
Also for anyone that is interested, I may just be a post-masochist, but I might start up a Mythos-style game using Pathfinder rules, but set on a past-era Earth (Like maybe during WWII, Victorian Era, ect.,). If I run it, expect me to use Lovecraftian phrases and play up the 'victories are VERY hard won, if even possible' style of encounters with Mythos creatures! The game would be very RP heavy, but the combat that would happen would be intense and require some creative thinking to actually give PCs a chance.
Alternately, I may start a whimsical campaign called Adventurers in Blunderland, which is all about the ridiculous and absurd! Have your mind swept away by the mustached Hypnopottamus! Determine the winner in the ultimate battle of the bands: The Gratefully Undead, a politically incorrect group of funky disco zombies or the Glam Reaper and his undead groupies! Face off against Asmodeus-worshipping sentient sunflowers, unicorns, and teddy bears in a kingdom where you must be happy and cute... or else! Recruit the Vegan Apes of Green Valley with their special Stoned Golems against the Militant Space Apes of Planet Vega and their A.R.S.E.F.A.C.E. robotic minions, who come for Blunderland's women! Feast your eyes on the vampire neko girl before she feasts on your blood! Face off against Adamantine Chef Poogslurp the Goblin's animated foodstuffs! Join the Knights of the Truffle to receive your very own Snout of Truffle-Sniffing and commit crusades against the Baconian Church! Go to Hogsboil Wyzards and Weetches School for the Magically Inept and learn from senile old wizards! Own your very own Vorpal Bunny! Face off against vile terrors such as the Gobbler, Punkin' Head, and Santa Claws in the Holiday Courts! Show contempt for court against Heck's lawyers by smashing the place up! Pursue a romance with a lovesick robot! Try to outdrink a dragon and survive if it decides to hurl! Join Ol' Bony Yorick's Theatre Crew and watch in amazement as he performs Shakespeare! Stop the Great Cheese Heist of Cheddah! Play chess with Einstein's Brain-In-A-Jar, where the PC's are key pieces on the board! Jeez, I overdid the '50's movie style exclamations'. :D

Jaq, Servant of Sifkesh |

There's a couple of them I'm looking at. Let me think it over and I'll let you know Blade. If they walk away, they walk away.

Jaq, Servant of Sifkesh |

The games or the possible campaigns?
The games. Though the campaigns do sound nice, I'm not sure I can take on another one right now. I'm dming one and have another in recruitment. I don't want to take on another one right now and hurt the ones I'm already in.

Monkeygod |

Sounds fun, however, neither(both) of these games better not take away from your posting time for this.
I really love this game, and with a bunch of others I've been in that I also love dying or being placed on an indefinite hold, I really, really want this game to last.

Divinitus |

Lord Foul II, now that I have given up video games, I have loads of free time until, *exasperated sigh*, college starts back (College is me repeating what I already know and wanting to head-butt a table at the essay or two a week,).
As a note, if I start recruiting for the Mythos campaign, be aware that the 6 classes available are the Enforcer, Daredevil, Tough, Investigator, Sensitive, and Luminary classes from SGG (Now RGG,). These classes are essentially 'Pathfinderized D20 Modern' classes, each based around a stat, feature a lot of talent-like ability choices, and made where PCs select 1 of 3 archetypes to round out the class. The Enforcer is a STR based combat specialist equally comfortable with a gun or an archaic weapon (High STR also comes in hand reducing kickback with semi-automatic/automatic weapons,). The Daredevil is an adrenaline junky that can fill a stealth roll and control combat through acrobatic moves and maneuvers. The Tough is a very hard to kill tank that, when at 50% of maximum HP, goes into a rage-like state. The Investigator is Sherlock Holmes-ish, enough said. The Sensitive is an empathic, but not necessarily empathetic, person with great powers of insight into thoughts and emotions, as well as perhaps some latent psychic talent. The Luminary is the standard face character able to 'sell ice to an Eskimo' (Hope that was not offensive to anyone who may be Inuit, but that's the phrase,). Magic rituals can be acquired via finding Mythos tomes, but reading the tomes and, worse, casting the spells, risks your character's mind. We will also be using a sanity system that should prove... interesting. Well, interesting if a player's character develops 'Multiple Personality Disorder', rolls a D20 to determine the number of personalities and hits that 20! Be prepared though, combat will be brutal, with most Mythos encounters being EPL+3 or 4, occasionally after running through deranged cultists. Worry not, there will be 'environmental' ways to give yourself an edge (Shoot the chain holding up the chandelier above the Gug to make it go *squish, bull rush the ghoul into a powerbox to fry, ect.,) and the monsters will have thematic weaknesses as well (An example would be a Cerebric Fungus taking damage from pure salt, NaCl, that has no iodine or a Hound of Tindalos taking damage every round it is near a ticking clock,). Some 'big boss' creatures REALLY late into the game, however, can only be killed by unique methods (Getting swallowed whole to shatter the creature's heart that is made out of a gibbering, porous stone,). This will be a very dark, brutal campaign for PCs and only the sparse number of encounters keep it from being TPK-City, Paizo Messageboards.
Alternately, we could have a 'build your own kaiju' style arena. And yes, Kaiju would receive bonuses from indulging their Kaiju-ishness, such as a morale bonus to ATK/Damage and temporary hit points for stomping a building, increased AC and saves for stopping a building from smashing into an attractive humanoid (We all know the big dudes have got soft hearts! King Kong, Godzilla, need I name any more?), ect.
