GM Batpony's PFS Scarab Sage Special (Inactive)

Following the announcement of the Scarab Sages retirement, I shall be looking to give a one last push for the members of the faction! We shall be looking to complete Destiny of the Sands at a minimum but may extend beyond should circumstance allow for it.

I am looking for 6 characters within level range 3-5, and will remain within that range for the totality of the scenarios.

As this is quite long term and somewhat against the clock, I shall not be doing a random lottery but will be looking for Scarab Sage characters/players who will be able to be committed and will be able to post timely (and even hoping for those who can post twice a day) without sacrificing the quality of the game. Those who are not Scarab Sages may apply but priority will be given to the faction.

My selection choice will also be biased towards GM's who have hosted for me and players who I am familiar and have confidence with.

We will look to begin around mid-January, but may start earlier if I'm able to accommodate it.

How do you feel about Level 2's?

I have a level 3 scarab sages sorcerer and I'm interested.

Introducing Untir Jonrot, my shaman of life, raised in the deserts of Osirion. As the shaman of his tribe, his ancestral spirits reside within him which powers his life giving and control abilities. He is currently level 3.2, so should be able to fit into the planned scenarios. Have played none of them.

How do you feel about Level 2's?

I'd like to keep everyone in a same level range as much as possible. If you're one xp away from lv 3 perhaps it would work out.

I'll likely leave recruitment open till new year.

I will have a level 3 Scarab Sage PC who will be available immediately after Race for the Runecarved Key. (Nope, sorry, Robyyn will be at 5 xp after Race, so he'll turn 3 after the first scenario here.)

I'm assuming that you're not interested in waiting that long, but I have always enjoyed your games, and a connected run like this under you at the helm just sounds fantastic, so I'll throw it out there!

Due to time limit, unfortunately I do hope to start earlier than later. I would offer the option of switching characters so that you can get Robyyn in there, but I believe there is reward for continuing the whole 3 parts with one character.

Hi. I am interested, though the character I have to offer is not Scarab Sages. He is level 4 and quite tanky and I hope he could be a lot of help. I need to update his alias only slightly to make sure I have incorporated his last game, which was a PBP game.

I should be able to post twice a day with no problem. I do have a vacation planned out of the country in late March but with Internet almost everywhere I am confident that I can post mornings and evenings while traveling.

I have a 4xp character I can build and play as Scarab Sages faction. Other than that I have 3rd level Arcanist of the Grand Lodge. I would very much like to play in the Destiny of the Sands and The Unseen Inclusion before GMing them.

I have already played the Test of Tar Kuata once.

Sadly, Amun-Heth here has only 4 XP. But it doesn't look as though you'll be hurting for players.

Just did some character accounting and need to report that Dolamite is now level 5. Leveling him now.

Looks like we've only got 7 recruits! Sorry Robyn, since your character can't start until after the special, the other six will be chosen as we are having a race against the clock. With that said, I'll be happy to give that character a scenario run of your choice to get more scarab sages chronicles on him once the special is done!

Looks like we'll have to go mix-tier, we'll start with the first two scenarios of the trilogy and see how we fair. Let's plan to start on 15th January.

Hmm. Sorry for my confusion. When I first saw this opportunity on The Flaxseed Pathfinder Lodge site I thought it was for only #9-04: The Unseen Inclusion and #6-19: Test of Tar Kuata. I have played the first three of the series and do not have enough replay to play them all again. They are excellent mods and I hope you all enjoy them. If you need me for 9-04 it would be a pleasure to play with you.

Just reviewed my character sheets. Hoprah (my Scarab Sages sorcerer) is currently at 3.2. I'll work on getting her info online in the next few days.

Fyi, I've already played the 3rd scenario of Destiny of the Sands, with another character way back at the beginning of my PFS career - I don't remember anything about it and I'm happy to use a replay to play it again (assuming we are able to get through the whole trilogy).

Also, Hoprah has already played 9-04 The Unseen Inclusion, so if we get that far she won't be able to play it. I haven't, however, played Test of Tar Kuata with her or any other PC.
