How many more players are you willing to allow? If you haven't reached your max I have a couple of character concepts that I'd like to submit.

With power array's it's possible to get a huge amount of effects for just 1 point. Would you max the amount of powers in an array? I have no idea what is reasonable and what is overkill for instance :).

When you say effects are you referring to powers or extras and flaws that alter powers?

There are no limits to number of power you can have in an array nor is there a limit to how many extras and flaws you can add to a power. The only limits I'm going impose is extras and flaws on the powers must make reasonable amount of sense. A blast power should have only one area effect added. Invisibility couldn't have the insidious extra. Obvious stuff like that.
Just remember that you can only use one power in an array at time so it's not a good idea to put any defensive powers in an array otherwise if you're not using that power when attacked you're defenseless.

I liked your birthmark/tattoo idea, similar to one I had a while back- some of those with superhuman abilities were granted their powers by semi-sentient birthmarks. Each person's mark was unique and located in a different place on the body- important because a 'Marked (as I thought of them) could be rendered powerless and otherwise vulnerable if they were stabbed through their mark with a golden weapon- even defensive powers would not protect vs. such a called shot with gold weapon.

The origin of all the 'Marked was going to be that they were all descended from three families- each from a different area of the world, and all three families would trace back to a single figure, a man whose original name and age are lost to the annals of time, as he himself is currently unaware of his life prior to 1914, possibly due to PTSD-like amnesiac reaction to the horrors he witnessed in the trench warfare of WWI.

Oops, sorry to tangent off there- anyways I am re-iterating my interest if a spot opens up in the game. Thanks.

Hey if you're still interested the first battle is almost over and I still have room for one more. Make up a character if you want and I'll get you worked in ASAP.

Hey...go ahead and replace me, if you haven't already. I'd forgotten about this for a few days, then got real busy...and...I've looked at the system, and though I'm interested in it, I'm shaky on how it works.

I've played and run both Champions and V&V...love the genre...run and play Pathfinder (D&D 3.0 and 3.5 before) so I get the system it's based on well enough...but it's pretty radically different. I'll keep looking at it, and maybe next time.
