Something seemed odd about this town, Mitra’s Fist. And the tavern they were in, The Overlord’s Inn, was certainly
a bit strange as well. [Everyone in the town seemed to stare at them as they walked through, and he had heard more
than one comment about how they didn’t get any visitors here anymore. He began to wonder if they had made a
mistake coming here, but what choice did they have after their guide had died from a scorpion’s bite and a sandstorm
had driven them into this mysterious mountain pass?

well, the party has a Mitra Inquisitor and the old cleric worshipped Freya. LG would be prefered, but good alignment is a necessity.

Got it. I will get started. I am thinking about a focused healer, maybe a halfling cleric of Hester and choosing Merciful Healer archetype from Ultimate Combat. This would be very much a support character and not a front line/melee character. If you want/need a melee cleric, I can pivot.

Healing domain would work, I assume from the description. Alignment should match the deity, and I am thinking neutral good is probably a good choice, though if Hester is lawful I can go with that too.

Also, wealth by level looks like 46,000 gp. Any restriction on how to spend that?

Thoron focused on the healing domain and thus never went into combat. You probably should be preparedd for it, but a combat role is not necessary. There will be additional heaing support available.

FYI, there is a goblin in the group!

May I present Korbin Tealeaf!

I am still working on the backstory and filling out a few details, but I think I am in reasonable shape. I make characters by hand, referencing Archives of Nethys, so I have been checking out compliance to the approved sources individually for every item.

Brvheart, please take a look and tell me where I overstepped. I am sure I missed something with the allowed sources even trying to stay within the guidelines, however unintentional.

I tried to keep things simple but effective for the character concept--an itinerant halfling innkeeper who low-key spreads the kind and understated religion of Hester. Wandering from town to town, he finds work in the local tavern/inn, bestowing the simple blessings of the hearthfire to those of good will he encounters.

A not-a-biggun, nice...

Thanks!

I figure he could be visiting/working at the local tavern, which seems to have had a name change recently. If any of the characters are injured, he might serve or clean up after them and ask a few questions about their adventures. Perhaps he will offer to heal them in exchange for a few good stories…

Korbin is updated with spell descriptions and a minor equipment selection change (spell components). Let me know if he is approved for the game and how he should be introduced.

Yeah, that is the problem Mitra's Fist is so far off the beaten path that originally the only way to get there was to be waylaid by bandits coming out from there. Now that the bandits have been chased off and the village evil rulers killed, he could have only have stumbled on it travelling. The last several were captured from previous caravans.

But go ahead and dot gameplay and join discussion please.
