Female Changeling Hedge Witch (12) - Ini +3 - AC 16/13/13 - Fort +6 / Ref +9 / Will +11 - Perception +4 - Concentration +19
Well,
- We need to take care of the situation in the Abbey. Mostly to get the dead medusa out so she stays dead.
- Mrs. Heidmarch takes care of the stone statues
- We are on a sidequest to get spells better suited for combat for Gwenhwyfar. And to bribe the half-orc witch Maroux to offer such spells, we search for a fruit basket.

We hadn't a blanket last time, because I didn't check my gear. Which would be ridiculously ignorant in game, as the blanket would be rolled up and tied to the backpack clearly visible for everyone. :D
We go with the 2 level drain penalty and see how it works out. I use PC-Gen and it's not really good at undoing stuff. So I'd like to avoid reverting Abomentolor or Darius.
I just noticed, that it is a lot of posts I'm writing here. There is a lot more background in this game. But once you're settled in and met the quest giver of the AP I'll tone it down a bit, and leave it to you how much you want to interact with this existing background.
Replacing Darius with another character of mine is no real option, as I don't have a lot of cleric characters and the healer role was with Gwenhwyfar and a healing witch is weak compared to a cleric.
A new player would be an option, but only if you know someone who would fit in.
And then we'd need to think of an interesting way to introduce that character. Sitting at the side of the road with a "Will save world for gold" sign won't do. But that is probably the least problem.
No just saying... You seem to enjoy playing the other characters more then Darius, so just figured if you wanted to change you could... But if you just want to go with the two days away from retirement trope, I'm not about to fault you. I've always taken it as that, but it might be getting old for you.
I play two characters and have a lot of time to post. So I tend to post for Darius only if needed, as I would totally hog the whole game if I'd play him like Abomentolor. Also it's easier with Abomentolor, because he has a long history and backstory that are all mine.
Although the bulk of the items kept here have long since crumbled away to dust, a search of the room gathers up various valuable components such as gemstone dust, bits of gold, and finely crafted tools worth a total of 1,200 gp. And there is something that might be one of the greatest treasures to be found in the dungeon. Sitting idly forgotten on a shelf near the northwest corner of the room is a nondescript black stone, that Spugnoir easily identifies: a philosopher’s stone.

@Supgnoir
I'm just trying to keep my ooc knowledge about pickled Rick out of game play and let Grergof answer that, without ignoring Spugnoir's request.
@Grergof
Is your mind in another rules set? You could have smashed those things with your flail as always. Okay, incorporeal for half damage, but still.
Nope, I figured they would drain my strength because my touch AC Sucks.... So that means that I could barely do anything. At least with Raven's head I can do some damage....
Well, I wrote half a post, added the handout to the map and then checked if the old group found it. And they didn't. So, yes, that's the riddle to solve for the code. You just don't know where it is hidden.
Zolerim’s spellbook, an exquisite statuette of Nethys made of ebony and ivory worth 120 gp, a golden paper knife with a ruby in the pommel worth 1,150 gp, a silver mirror worth 100 gp, and a leather bag containing 320 gp.
The content of the chest consists of 1,300 gp and a stack of silverware looted from the abbey worth 700 gp in all. Also five cracked leather bags holding 500 gp each, a ruined silk pouch containing 30 pearls worth 100 gp each, a masterwork dagger in a gem-encrusted scabbard (the scabbard is ruined but its 12 garnets are worth 100 gp each), a ring (of wizardry I), and an amulet (of mighty fists +2).
The golem could carry them if they become a problem.
You want a golem ridden by envy? The shard has a description of its effects, but none of the "this is a mind affecting/whatever, allows a fort save", so none of the stuff your golem is immune to.
Before Mrs. Heidmarch hands over the ioun stone that neutralizes the curse of the shard, I'd like to see at least a little RP about the effects of that corrupting sin on our glorious paladin.
Hey, I just realized I had a dusty rose prism Ioun stone already. So do you want your gold back and I give up the extra stone, or does someone else want the shard?
Akk look so does the Ioun stone suppress the positive shard effects or just the curse?
Also, anyone mind if I keep the Adanantine armor?
We should consolidate the rest and figure out what to sellt.
I’d love to some basic enchantments so my flail is more then + 1.
It suppresses only the shard and allows to have the bonus of the ioun stone without it circling your head. But you can't remove the ioun stone anymore without destroying it.

The shard of envy is indeed rather weak. I suggest you keep it anyway and once a better one comes along, you hand it down to Darius. As Spugnoir already opted for the sloth one...
And once you hand it down, the ioun stone to improve your armor becomes interesting again for you. Of course if you thing it doesn't help you any, darius would also take it now. Armor isn't his strong suit. Maybe I should invest a bit in that.
