Have a solution to DR (esp good), please. Also, a way to fly would be keen (and the wand might be that solution).

Maybe a couple of scrolls of align weapon communal to share with the gang. I know it's divine but we could probably cast it with UMD.

I thought about thew idea of keeping the fly wand and will do so unless anyone wants it. Fly is one of those spells that you never know when you need it but it's a life saver.

I'll gladly offer up money to buy healing 'stuff' but I just don't know what stuff to buy so someone smarter than me should make that list. I'll forget something. :)

As I see it we need the following to proceed...

- Allarnon and Ederin need to pick any items they want off the treasure sheet.
- Someone needs to put together a list of group purchases around 20kgp. An excellent idea as you won't have access to civilization for a while. So if someone is turned to stone, and you don't have a scroll, you're kinda screwed.
- Individuals need to come up with their individual purchase lists.

Thanks to Lief sacrificing some of his income to bring Ederin back up to the group, you should anticipate an approximate divvy of:

As for Allarnon I will just take the diamond dust (750 gp worth) as I could use it for my Stoneskin spell. Otherwise I am good on the loot list.

I will toss in for Ederin's divvy on party items as well to help catch up.

  • +2 Wild Heavy Wooden Shield (25,157 gp)
  • Allarnon and Ederin Divvy for Party scrolls and Wands- (10,000 gp)
  • Diamond Dust (2500 gp worth in 250 increments)
  • Goggles of Night- 12,000 gp

I'm going to edit (or add) a bit. Mostly, I think we need a LOT more wands of CLW. And insanity. Heck, I was in an AP where a party member was sent to another plane...so maybe a sending scroll or something.

Did the Five Fold Ring of Fire gain new powers or does it just cast 2 scorching rays (4d6 each)?

Dimitrio, at each level up, I note what items have improved so you can keep careful track. It is in spoilers though, so you might have missed it.

At twelfth level, each day, the wearer can ignore up to 40 points of fire damage as if using protection from energy. This fire damage is absorbed into the fivefold rings of fire; when this happens, if the wearer has already expended one or more of her scorching rays for the day, she can recharge one of the rings for every 20 points of fire damage she absorbs.

Further, from the original description, the wearer can release up to five scorching rays each day, one from each of the five rings. She can release one ray as a standard action or two rays (from two different rings) as a full-round action.

So it's a little better. It improves again next level a bit.

I was still thinking that the ring only had the ability to shoot out two scorching rays per day. I'll have to go back and read the spoilers at the level ups.

Okay, grabbed a pot of CMW and the belt of Dex from the treasure sheet, everything else looks good to sell. Looks like we've all made any claims we intend to make, so that means we also have a divvy of another 9,714 gold I believe (after Al's list of purchases).

Question Euan, does the Keen on my +1 bow get added to it's total bonus? Would upgrading it to, for example, a +2 Keen Composite bow cost me 6k or 16k?

Thanks for the donations guys but feel free to reconsider, I don't particularly feel like Ed is lagging behind performance wise.

With my share as it is at the moment I'm looking at a +3 Cloak of resistance (9k), upgrading the belt to +6 (32k) and upgrading my bow to a +3 or +4 depending on cost (max of 30k) and goggles of the night (12k) so that's a potential total of 83k, leaving 7k left of my "share" plus whatever I get from the divvy.

That bit I'll contribute into buying more healing and maybe something to handle undead/necromancy since it seems likely we'll be up against that.

Ederin, yes it all stacks for the cost of the weapon. Keen costs +1, so a +2 Keen bow would cost 18,000 (minus what you already put in of course).

Unless there is some GM chicanery, keen is melee weapons only.

With the loss of my character sheet on mythweavers I don't know what my full inventory was, per the treasure sheet I picked up a wand of CLW that has 21 charges and 2 CMW scrolls around April.

Per my post history the scrolls were used immediately and though I can't find any mention of using the full amount of the wand I find it hard to believe it wasn't used up by now.

I've got about 18k left after my purchases, I can buy the scroll of resurrection and still afford any ammo I need plus more Cure wands/potions. Topping that I still have my healing sash and Ederin can cast a handful of CLW and CMW spells, and starting next level I've got access to CSW (but only once a day).

Ederin, can you use 6000 gp of that in diamond dust? We might need 5000 gp for a raise dead and 1000 for random castings (like restoration).
