Nice to know we did alright :) I was wondering how only having three of us would go.

If you want to do a spreadsheet Doumane I'm happy. I've been keeping a track of the loot so I'll sort that all out soon and get it linked up here. There's a lot!

I think it's quite loot heavy for much of the first book to make up for not having access to shops or markets for much of the first few levels.

On the topic of numbers, one change I have made is I've changed Rhynna from an adept to a witch in order to give access to arcane spellcasting in the camp rather than having two divine spell casters.

I might make up a sheet tomorrow, Tuesday at the latest.

Just doing my level up - quick question EmEss.

Would you be ok with Issi using VMC to become a druid? She gets Wild Empathy at 3rd, an animal companion using her lvl -4 at 7, full animal companion at 11 and then wild shaping after that. She also has to follow the druidic code - not harming nature etc.

The code fits her well and I really like the idea of her having wild empathy - it helps explain why she and Tyrek do so well. Would you have a problem with Issi having Tyrek AND an animal companion? Doumane can look after it if that helps? :P

Also - I'm calling dibs on the +1 buckler. That ok Doumane? I'm assuming you don't use shield much...

That should be fine. As this is pbp an extra animal companion shouldn't slow things down and it will help make up for the smallness of the party.

Awesome - Issi is all done then :)

Hi Emess/Mowque this is going to be my last post for a while as I’m going to Italy to get married! I’ll be back around the 16th August, please bot as necessary to keep things going! :)

Have a great time!

Wow. Have fun. I'm actually going to be in Canada until the 16th of August as well and although I should have internet for most of that time it might be easier just to pause things until we both get back.

Works for me.

I'm back :)

I'm still here.

Hey guys, spent some time this morning sorting loot out. Here's the link, which you should be able to play with.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xX6SOqT7Ae_TSV6cqNtbd636L5Rqx1PIrRY YKp11IAQ/edit?usp=sharing

There's a few things we dont know about yet - the value of some loot and the magical properties of other things. I'll have Issi sit down with Aubrin on the magic items when we get a chance :)

Actual choices? What kind of AP is this?!

I know, right? The entire middle section of book 1 is very sandboxy. It does seem to presume that the average party will at least visit most of these locations at some point during the campaign, even if they don't set up base there, though.

Sort of on that topic a number of "foraging" encounters against woodland creatures are presented in this section. IThis is also a good section for some nice roleplaying talky sequences with the survivors of Phaendar. Which of the two would you prefer to have greater emphasis or conversely to be glossed over?

I find non-plot relevant encounters to be a bit of a drag in PBP, to be fair.

Noted. I'll try to keep things focused and moving forwards. I have a dislike for too much non-plot relevant combat in pbp myself as well.

I can RP with myself so I'm not too worried! :D

Have either of your guys looked at the loot sheet yet? You able to edit it etc?

What were the random encounters? I assume there were like, three?

Two giant spiders and an ettercap were meant to be in the redoubt, as well as a swarm of wasps who would emerge if their nest was disturbed. The swarm of wasps might have been particularly problematic for you given swarm immunities.

Swarms are the worst and any GM< that uses them is just lazily trying to kill off his characters.

(Issi is currently bleeding to death due to swarms I had attacked her in our game).

The Exchange

Tyrek's breath weapon would have been about our only option.

Doumane - just hope the Sphinx doesn't have some back-up in the form of scarab friends :P

Also - should I read that last comment as 'GM don't like Ashlion any more'?

We still going, GM?

I fear not - he's not posted in his 1 player which I'm running for him either...

That sucks.
