Not to take anything away from our modern day heroes, considering that Veterans' Day was founded due to November 11, 1918 when the Armistice was signed. I want to give extra special love to my Great Grandfathers who fought in that conflict from 1914-1918 for three nations. One risked being strafed on a Indian motorcycle on the Western Front. Another was a machine gunner at the Marne. One fought at the Somme and the other was at Bucharest.
It has been a very busy week, much of which was spent with my parents whom I was visiting. I have a con this weekend, and I have some family business to take care of next week. I may be a few more days between posts, but don't worry. When I get everything straightened out, I'll be back on the action bandwagon. In the meantime, sit tight, or if I am in your game, please bot me as necessary.
Update: My wife's elderly aunt has been moved into a care facility. My wife and I are tasked with clearing out her room of all her belongings and finding a place to store them. We have about 10 days to do this, and we have our own affairs to worry about as well. To complicate things, she has lost several savings bonds and other important papers (like her will) in her room, so we can't just go in and bulldoze the place. We have to look for the papers as we pack. It's slow going and very tedious, so until we get the room vacated, my posting will be limited, but I will try to keep pace as much as possible.
Did you want Orvan to stay a cactus? For her to do the polymorph, she has only to snap her thumb. Let's say for the sake of argument, you could hit her, maybe. At your current level, you would only be able to hit her with a natural 20.
Sorry Nura, that's a lot to have to deal with. I hope things work out in the end.

Apologies about not posting sooner, but I have been down internet wise for roughly a week, and will not have internet back up yet for a week or so.
This means that I haven't had internet for the last 4 days (as we had 4 days off at my work for the holiday).
It's been...an experience where I learned that I use the internet more than I thought I did.

Unfortunately, I have some bad news.
A combination of work-related stuff has lead to me having to take some time off from the forums. I am, in all honesty, going to need to be gone for several months, as I am going to be travelling for extended periods of time (weeks or more) and I'll likely not have good access to the internet.
As I am not someone who would want to have you all sit and wait for me here, I am going to be withdrawing/closing all of my open forum games.
I want to thank everyone who I have had the pleasure to game with over the last couple of years here, as I have immensely enjoyed my time on the forums, and hopefully, once my work stabilizes, I will be able to rejoin the community.
Thank you again for your time and energy, and I am sorry that I won't be able to keep things moving forward in any of the games that I am running.
All, I am in the midst of con season and I have two cons in the span of a month, one of which I am working as staff. If I am slowing things down, please feel free to bot me. Ok gang, I have one phantasmal force and no great ideas, what kind of illusion should I create for a distraction?
I don't think Nabila is very much the creative type, but I know one of my characters, Mae, would say, "Lie honestly, tell them to gather around because you want to distract them...with a story. Because it is hot and the caravan masters need time to deliberate, we may as well pass the time with a tale."
Perhaps an illusion of a thief making off with food?

Hi, I will move it forward tonight. I have been travelling and forgot the module was on my portable drive not the regular HD.
Just a quick heads-up, I may be slower than normal for me this weekend thru early next week. Not absent, just slower. Hopefully back to normal by Wednesday.
I can't remember if I've asked this before, but are we using the "hovering at death's door" rule? Trying to decide if I should use my cure spell on Nura or hold in case someone drops to 0 or negative hps...
We are using that rule.

Everyone should get 1531 XP for this adventure + 752 from before with bonus for solving the mystery which was possible but not necessary.
So Chipluck, Nabila and Nura should definitely level up and I think Fadilah because of her sleep spell. The party with all of the bonuses should be around 2283. I know Fadi is a little shy but think you wouldn't object to her getting second level as well due to RP and the sleep spell and stuff. Maudril needs 3250 to level up.
Ouch, Maudril, ouch. That's nearly as bad as leveling a baby dragon!
Well...better than 1, lol! Will do full leveling sometime today, but I think I only really get the hps and an additional first level spell, need to double-check profs and kit/specialty priest info.
