As Rathan cut down his enemy and stepped to the side, Vi quickly took his place. The filth streaming from her hair and clothes released a fresh wave of stink every time she moved. But now, rather than gagging her, it just enraged her.

Lunging forward, she took extra care with her footing and the placement of her dagger. She would only get one shot, and she wanted it to count.

attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
damage: 1d4 - 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) - 1 + (4) = 6

confirm crit: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
for the love of...

The dagger slipped in between two of the adamantine plates, and Vi was rewarded by a squirt of....fluid. While she didn't have the Rathan's power, she was able to strike precisely, in critical areas, and at least she wasn't being useless.

Was looking up APs, and found there's lots to do with them! Check it out! Alas, none seem to help me here.

Round 3

Feeling his strength begin to ebb the barbarian mustered all he had left into his next swing. Rathan hefted his Tangat over his head and brought it down with a thundering crash into the renegade Warforged's chest. Sparks flew as the Tangat penetrated deep into the construct's mechanical apparatus.

Nice hit!

I'm definitely filing the info about recasting a spell by using an AP into my memory. I just don't think I can cast fire between Palisade's legs :)

Not wanting to risk hurting Palisade with fire, Bronwyn used the wand again to send an unerring magical missile at the warforged. This time it made a slightly larger dent than before.

damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Thanks Rathan! That might have done it, but just in case...

Squeak concentrated on setting up the 'Forged. Years of fighting alongside Pallisade had left them with a number of shared strategies and dirty tricks. Even a single strike from Palisade's enlarged sword could change everything. "Seven-three!" he called out, then waited three breaths and launched himself at the 'Forged's weapon - suddenly pulling up short and jumping back.
aid another: Palisade attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20 +2 if flanking...
The distraction worked perfectly, the 'Forged suddenly turning his concentration on Squeak. Meanwhile, Palisade...

If it does go down, Squeak is going to go for the Soul.

The forged wavered under the tangat's onslaught even after Bronwyn's missile took out one of its eyes. But its training allowed it to remain standing...

Probably won't be needed after Palisade goes, but just in case...

Vi smiled grimly as the enemy 'forged began to waver. She focused on the two weak spots she wanted to hit - between the plates, straight into the back. Rolling forward on the balls of her feet, she struck.

attack dagger 1: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
damage: 1d4 - 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (1) - 1 + (4) = 4

attack dagger 2: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
damage: 1d4 - 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (1) - 1 + (4) = 4

As she leapt forward, her dripping ioun stone dropped a glob of filth into her eyes. The sudden stinging pain made her gasp, and spoiled her aim. Both daggers clanged uselessly against the armour plates.

when it goes down

Arleth leapt onto the downed 'forged's chest, basically straddling it. Hands poised, she prepared to catch the thing's "soul".

Faltering on its feet due to the heavy damage it had sustained, Palisade nevertheless reacted instinctively to unit Squeak's voice, launching a heavy overhead chop at the enemy 'forged the moment it turned its attention to the foe at its back.

Gratsword: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 4 + 2 = 24 Finally
Damage, enlarged greatsword: 3d6 + 5 ⇒ (4, 3, 3) + 5 = 15

This time, the sword hit through, the overlong sword crushing rather than cutting through the warforged's shoulder, the sheer weight of fast-moving metal on its body forcing the enemy to bend its knees. A lucky thing, as the enlargened sword's tip reached well past the enemy and came perilously close to hitting Vi - and might have done so, had the enemy's body not halted the blade.

Staring at the tangle of wires and crystal, Vi felt a surge of fury. With one of her daggers, she attacked the object recklessly, nearly breaking her knife in the process. "I HATE you guys! Argh! What's your problem? Khyber-forged machines, and your Khyber-loving owners. You made me swim in sewage. IN SEWAGE! Raghh!" With an inarticulate scream of rage, she kicked the fallen enemy. Of course, the metal plating didn't yield, but her ruined leather boots did. Shouting again, this time in pain, Vi nearly lost her footing and got a second dunking.

Forcing herself to take a few deep breaths, she leaned against the fallen 'forged, reclaiming her calm. "Bronwyn, I beg you, please can you clean some of this shit off me? At least my head and my hands? It's in my mouth, and if I have to taste it for one more minute, I'm going to barf."

tag Bronwyn, others?

Action 2,

Stuffing the items in her pack for closer examination later, once they were out of the sewage, Vi said, "I vote we get up out of this disgusting tunnel. If I never see the Cogs again, it will be too soon. Let's get up to dry ground, take a look at this stuff, then head back up to her ladyship."

assuming we head out of her

As they returned to lit tunnels, Vi deactivated her ioun stone and stowed it away for decontamination later. Turning to Bronwyn, she said, "Seriously, what is it with these guys? Is it faulty programming? Or has their owner programmed them to be this way? Your two seem okay, but these other guys are out of control. Is there somebody we can report this too? Have them taken in for repair or something?"

Hoping to have a little discussion here about the nature of the 'forged.

Female Human Fire Adept Wizard/5 | HP 32 | Init +2 | AC12 | Mage armor AC15 |

Action 1:

Bronwyn was still trapped behind Palisade as the crazy warforged fell under Palisade's assault. She peeked around one of his legs as Vi vented some of her frustration. The wizard hadn't realized that things had gotten so messy on the other side of her protector 'forged. Vi's plea for being clean was something that Bronwyn could help with. She nodded, "Of course, Vi. If you come a little closer then I can clean up some of that filth. The offer is open for anyone else as well.

Casting prestidigitation on whoever would like it. They just need to be within 10ft of Bronwyn.

"It was surprising that we didn't see a hummingbird, or soul, emerge this time. Maybe this warforged chose not to have a soul. Or else whoever sent him thought he wouldn't be beaten."

Action 2:

Bronwyn nodded at Vi's assessment, especially when more sewage spewed into the tunnel. "The sooner that this schema becomes someone else's problem, the better. We need to get back to the Broken Anvil and then find something fun to do."

Vi wrote:
"Seriously, what is it with these guys? Is it faulty programming? Or has their owner programmed them to be this way? Your two seem okay, but these other guys are out of control. Is there somebody we can report this too? Have them taken in for repair or something?"

Bronwyn looked at Vi in surprise. "No one programs or owns warforged. They're more than capable of making their own decisions. They just prefer to be...guided. Squeak and Palisade aren't 'mine', they've chosen to protect me because they were asked to." As they walked she continued, "The only ones we could report this to are the same people you report any hostile criminals to, the guard. Whether they do something about it or not is a different story. The actions of the warforged we've run into are no different than a thief trying to steal something from someone."

"It does seem like their leader has convinced these warforged that it is them versus us. Unless their leader is stopped by the proper authorities, they will continue to to lash out - much like a gang."

Vi cocked an eyebrow, skeptical. "You mean these two lugs follow you around like lost puppies - like deadly puppies - because they choose to? I find that hard to believe. Two years after their final order was given? That sounds more like programming than free will. I don't think too many people would continue to follow their last order years after the war ended."

Bronwyn shrugged, "I don't know what to tell you. I've never commanded them to stay and I don't tell them what to do. Why don't you ask them?"

Action 1:

Weak from his exertions Rathan took a moment to gather his strength and leaned against the wall as he tried to slow his breathing. Slowly he caught recognized the words his companions spoke and listened to the conversation about the Warforged and their souls. Happy to be proven right he adds through his labored breaths, "Soulless like I said."

Action 2:

Rathan stayed quiet as the two woman debate the Warforged. Instead he focused on his surroundings worried that another ambush is ahead.

----------------------------
Feed back: I agree the fight did seem easy but I think if a couple of rolls went differently it would have been a close call. That being said you might want to give us fewer action points per level.

Female Human Fire Adept Wizard/5 | HP 32 | Init +2 | AC12 | Mage armor AC15 |

I agree with Rathan. If a couple rolls had gone differently, we would have been in serious trouble. Even as it is, everyone's hurt and more than half fairly seriously. All of our fights so far has resulted in some serious injuries on our part so I wouldn't classify them as easy. Bronwyn, Vi, and Palisade have all almost died at some point.

Actions 1?
Squeak injected himself with yet another concoction, his crafted actuators groaning dangerously afterwards as he acted like a breakwater for a wave of sewage heading for Bronwyn.
Using Ant Haul.
"I would like to try to take as much of these parts back as possible. Palisade, can you please assist in getting the body to dry land where we can disassemble it properly? Time is of the essence. At a minimum, whatever upgrade it has chosen instead of a Soul myst be extremely valuable."
He turned to Brownwyn "Once we are out of range of the misted sewage in the air, it would be useful to clean this sewage off all of us, regardless of preferences. I have seen empirical evidence that sewage like this lowers perceived social status in human culture."

Action 2
"I do not understand, Arleth. What about their actions strikes you as illogical? Were it not a risk to Bronwyn, I would have considered requesting more information on their leader. He sounds quite admirable."

Squeak cocked his head to the side.
"We have Free Will, Arleth. You do not. Humanoids are programmed with a number of imperatives by their creator. Secure food. Reproduce. Form a herd. Avoid damage. Acquire information. Disseminate information. Provide for relatives after death." Squeak looked over at Palisade "We do not age. Eat. Sleep. Reproduce. Every Forged must have something around which to structure their lives. We have chosen to protect Bronwyn."

Challenge
Hard to say from one fight. If Rathan had gone down, the 'Forged would still be up - and Pallisade would probably be down. Also, it's not just damage, it is also how many of our consumables we consumed.

I don't find the fights easy, but that's mainly because I don't have a fighter.

"I don't think that's fair," Vi said. "If they're programmed to think or act like they have free will, then they might not know the truth. They don't even know how they're sustained, how they're alive. But I guess it's not fair not to ask, either."

She was freed of the need to ask, however, because Squeak spoke up...

Cross posted with squeak, so I'm editing my earlier post.

Vi let out a little bark of laughter. "I think your argument works against you, Squeak. Needing to eat and sleep and be social are the very things that make us alive. If you need to do nothing at all, how are you different from a machine? The world is full of machines enhanced with magic, but nobody calls them alive.

"Here's a question for you both. What would you do if Bronwyn told you to leave and never come back? What if she ordered that?"

Bronwyn interjected, "Actually they were attacking us because of the schema. And I don't think this leader is admirable if he seeks to separate warforged from other races." However Vi's last statement triggered a protective response from Bronwyn. "There's absolutely nothing faulty about Squeak or Palisade. Lumping them in with other warforged is as misguided as lumping all half-elves together or all changelings or humans or halflings. I certainly don't want to be held responsible for all of the decisions other humans make."

”Com-plying,” Palisade answered haltingly, the light in its single spherical eye flickering as its sword slipped from its fingers. Putting its enchanted size and strength to use, it helped Squeak move the fallen ‘forged’s remains to a dryer batch of ground, then half fell, half sat down next to it, running its fingers up and down the cut in its faceplate. ”This one has suffered critical damage. Capacity to protect Lady d’Dene- Bronwyn significantly diminished. Suggest we retreat to a safe location to effect repairs.”

Squeak wrote:
Squeak looked over at Palisade "We do not age. Eat. Sleep. Reproduce. Every Forged must have something around which to structure their lives. We have chosen to protect Bronwyn."

”Addendum. And to spread the word of the Creator Goddess,” Palisade murmured piously, with a rare sliver of emotion in its otherwise perfectly deadpan voice. It shared a glance with Squeak, wondering why the other ‘forged was still resisting its attempts at converting him to the one true faith. Perhaps it had not been insistent enough. Or perhaps some leaflets would help? Feeling somewhat lightheaded due to its wounds (if such a thing was even possible), Palisade began wondering how much a small engraving press would cost. Surely, in a city this vast, there would be people here eager to embrace its own beliefs if they only knew the truth. And what better way to reach the masses than millions of leaflets spread to the winds from the top of the tallest towers?

Squeak wrote:
"I would assume some form of compulsion magic." stated Squeak. "Palisade - is that reasonable?"

”Prompt reply. Order to protect La- Bronwyn given by rightful commander. Said commander now dead, direct chain of command above him unclear due to shifting loyalties and contracts during the War. New commander never properly designated. Conclusion: original command can no longer be overruled. This one considers its duty to safeguard her until the natural end of her lifespan. If Lady- Bronwyn commanded us to leave her, protecting her from a distance while avoiding her immediate presence would be an acceptable alternative, unless logical reason for assuming the command was given in jest or in error could be reached,” Palisade announced, without a pause for breath between sentences – for obvious reasons. ”Introspective addition. This one hopes no such command will be forthcoming, as providing security from distance would likely result in the need to eliminate potential hostilities with extreme prejudice from a large radius around subject with little time to consider individual threat levels.”

Bronwyn said, "See? No one told Palisade to believe in the Creator Goddess and yet he does. He made that decision. And I'm sure that if my actions were ever in conflict with her that Palisade would choose to act in opposition to me. Right, Palisade?"

When Palisade mentioned safeguarding Bronwyn until the end of her lifespan, it gave her pause. She had never really considered any long term plans with regards to the 'forged and since they didn't age...what happened if she ever wanted to get married? Would they view any partner as a threat? Although now was not the time to contemplate such things. She was still young and in no mind to settle down. At least if she did, she'd have two nannies ready to go if she had children. For now, it was nice to have someone watching out for her.

However, Vi did bring up some valid points. It didn't seem like Squeak or Palisade were making enough of their own decisions even though they were more than capable of doing so. "Squeak, Palisade - please feel free to voice any opinions you have and make your own decisions. Even if they seem to contradict something I've said...within reason of course. It still is frowned upon to ever strip search someone you just meet. But, for example, it seems like for awhile that Palisade would much rather call me something other than Bronwyn. If that is your choice, then go ahead. My remarks earlier weren't a command, just a suggestion."

Current Face: Mei'Vi, elven explorer AC 15 | HP45/45 | Saving Throws: Dex, Int | Init +3 | Perc +8 | Invis ring charges left 1/3 | Inspiration 1/1

Vi pondered their words as she walked. Bronwyn made a few good points in their favour, but the 'forged's own arguments worked against them, at least the way she saw it. However, if everybody thought of them as proper people, including themselves, then who was she to argue? They had eaten together - well, sort of - fought together, saved each other's lives. I guess continuing to think of them just as programmed machines is just as prejudiced as everybody else judging me by my race.

Finally nodding, Vi said, "Okay, I'm convinced. Sorry for any insult, fellas. You may not make sense to me, but I guess I don't have to understand you to believe in you."

Action 1:

She actually makes us wait 2 hours? Or was that a typo? What are we going to do for a couple hours?

Bronwyn dozed off a few times while they waited for Lady Elaydren to meet with them. She perked up when the Lady entered and the wizard was quickly mesmerized by her clothes. ”Thank you for meeting with us. May I say that your glamerweave is absolutely breath-taking. Very beautiful.”

When asked about their journey, the wizard took the lead and let the others fill-in details she may have forgotten. ”There were definitely challenges at the beginning, middle, and end of our quest. Once we found the appropriate Valve Cluster – which was disgusting by the way because it is essentially a sewer, we were accosted by a warforged demanding we give him Bonal’s journal. He was accompanied by a few minions but we managed to gain the upper hand. After that, we found the entrance to the lower level where the foundry was located. Before making it to the foundry there were flesh-eating beetles and horrid rats to deal with, I almost died. When we finally reached the foundry, the doors proved difficult because they couldn’t be opened from the outside unless you belonged to House Cannith. Fortunately for us, there had been a rock slide which provided a hole in the roof of the foundry through which we gained entry. However, there were metal guardians inside who took offense to us being there and Arleth almost died. After dispatching them, we were able to open the part of the foundry where the schema was located. This map was locked away with it. I know it’s old but we didn’t know how it was important. Does it mean anything to you?” Bronwyn pulled out the map and spread it out on the table before Lady Elaydren.

Bronwyn continued, ”Lastly, another warforged tried to take the schema from us once we re-emerged from the foundry tunnel. He seemed to be aligned with a Lord of warforged, I’m thinking maybe the Lord of Blades. We barely prevailed against him and his mercenary, things could have easily gone sideways. That makes three different warforged who were intent on obtaining the journal which lead to the schema and were very happy to kill everyone in their way. Which begs the question...Why would any warforged want the schema?”

Action 2:

Bronwyn gladly allowed herself to be pampered by their host. No one did hospitality like House Ghallanda and so she knew she was going to enjoy herself. She must have spent at least an hour in her bath and amazingly the water never cooled to an uncomfortable temperature. She allowed the scented water to soak away the stench of the Cogs. She would have stayed in even longer but one of the halfling workers knocked on her door to let her know that the 'forged were asking after her. They were concerned because she was taking so long and may have drowned. Sighing she said, "Tell them I'll be out shortly." It was definitely hard to explain to them that water in a bathtub was considerably different than other sources of water - and she didn't need them bursting in to save her.

Vi listened with a smile as Bronwyn gave a very matter-of-fact, and yet at the same time, very dramatic, retelling of their adventure. We sure managed to pack a lot into a few hours. Yet sitting in this sumptuous room, stinking it up, it already seemed like a long time ago.

When Bronwyn mentioned their enemy, she added, "The agents of this warforged are very dangerous - it took the combined might of all 5 of us to put them down. I believe your life will be in danger now that we have handed it over. I recommend not leaving this place, or going anywhere, without being accompanied by several guards. I believe that they will not hesitate to attack in front of a crowd."

Action 2

Vi breathed a sigh of relief as the Jorasco healers soothed away her remaining wounds. It felt very strange to be enjoying luxury of this level as Arleth. She nearly took Zoë's Face automatically - she was much more used to this sort of treatment. The halfling girls teased the braids from her hair and scrubbed it at least three times before they were convinced that it was actually clean. They nattered away at her about their adventure, asking for details about Rathan's prowess, and sighing in contentment as Arleth indulged them with details of his bravery and strength. The fact that they kept a glass of Tarisato clear wine filled and in her hand helped to keep Vi happy and chatting.

Even taking her time, she was done well before Bronwyn was out of her bath. She rejoined the others in the private room, and together they looked at the items they'd recovered from their foes. Everything in her backpack had been spread out and cleaned - even her journal. For a moment Vi panicked that it had been seen, but remembering the discretion of House Gallandra, she relaxed a bit. Mostly she was relieved that it hadn't been destroyed by its foul dunking.

One of the healers identified the potions for them before leaving. "We should give the healing potion and cloak to Bronwyn," Vi said, knowing the wizard couldn't use regular armour. "Rathan, you take the other potion - it'll probably be most use in your hands. I'd like the tanglefoot bag, if you don't mind."

Finally, Bronwyn emerged, glowing with the heat of her bath. Vi smiled at her, then turned to the 'forged and said, "What of the soul you captured? Is there anything we can learn from that? Or what of the other disk we found?"

She actually makes us wait 2 hours? Or was that a typo? What are we going to do for a couple hours?

Yes, she doesn't live there and they had to go and get her. She then had to get ready to meet you again, a glamerweave dress is not something you just throw on by itself; it requires accessories and just the right make-up. :)

She may have also been talking to other people before coming over...

Game on!

If I really wanted the schema I would have arrived in pajamas.

The Lady inspected the map closely, her eyebrows raised, "These cryptic symbols spread throughout what appears to be ancient depictions of the territory now divided between the Mournland and Darguun."

She added, "This is the ancient seat of our house so those are probably forges or facilities. This map will be very useful in the near future. I'd like to keep it, of course."

Bronwyn nodded. "Arleth recognized the territory as you described but we didn't know what the symbols meant." The wizard pushed the map towards Elaydren to show she had no problems with her keeping it.

She responded, "From what I understand, this Lord of the Blades is gathering all the warforged and wants to form his own nation. He's also looking for schemas that will help him build more warforged. Can you believe that? Who would want more single-minded soldiers when there is no war."

"Single-mindedness is a common misconception about the warforged but they aren't. Maybe very focused once they find a purpose, but not single-minded." Bronwyn continued to question Lady Elaydren, appearing naive in her knowledge. "Does the schema have another purpose other than creating more warforged? Surely you had a reason to recover it other than it just being an heirloom. Besides, I thought the peace treaty states that no new warforged were allowed to be made."

Action 1:

Rathan patiently waited for his mistress to arrive. Having spent many weeks in her service he knew she did not measure time like everyone else and would get here according to her own schedule.

Action 2:

One of the healers identified the potions for them before leaving. "We should give the healing potion and cloak to Bronwyn," Vi said, knowing the wizard couldn't use regular armour. "Rathan, you take the other potion - it'll probably be most use in your hands. I'd like the tanglefoot bag, if you don't mind."

Rathan found it amusing to see the outlanders fascination with things and added with a shrug of his shoulders, "Things no matter." Nevertheless he picked up the proffered potion and pocketed it.

Sorry for the short post I have family over for the weekend.

She nodded, "She nodded. Yes, you are right. It is illegal to create more warforged but I think that is what this Lord of the Blades is doing. But his warforged are flawed, like they are unstable and don't play with a full deck. Can you imagine a behemoth like them just running crazy..."

Squeak studies their finds as they wait. Though disappointed when there wait is cut short, he accepts it with stoic 'Forged endurance.

"Not necessarily just trying to build full 'Forged." points out Squeak "If he has a number of 'Forged followers, he could be attempting to secure replacement parts. The war has left battlefields scattered with parts to repair all the remaining warforged for a hundred years - after that we would need to turn on one another. A single leader with a stock of parts at that point could pretty much force the Warforged to unite under his banner. Century old veterans all coming together again." he pauses and looks thoughtful "Although the 'Forged we saw do look different. As if they are deviating from the human pattern used as a template into something designed simply as a weapon of war, rather than something that needs to fight alongside humans."

RE Action - are they able to clean out the inside bits of 'Forged? I figure they should at least be able to take off and replace the external plates.
Also, wanted to scavenge parts for repair from the fallen 'Forged. Mostly irrelevant (at best some extra charges for the Warforged Repair Kit) except that I am hoping to use it as justification for buying the Admantine feat at level 3.

Bronwyn said, "See? No one told Palisade to believe in the Creator Goddess and yet he does. He made that decision. And I'm sure that if my actions were ever in conflict with her that Palisade would choose to act in opposition to me. Right, Palisade?"

Palisade hesitated before answering, the light in its eye dimming as it considered the question at length. What would it do, if forced to choose between disobeying orders or its own beliefs? "Hesitant answer. Please endeavor not to force this one to choose," it replied slowly, clearly uncomfortable with the whole possibility now that it had been pointed out to it. Orders were orders, to be obeyed before all else. The truth was engraved to whatever "soul" it might possess - Palisade still found the whole concept of some presumed abstract spiritual construct esoteric at best and useless at worst, and though worrying about it consumed all to much of the fleshlings' time - but the words of the woman who had first greeted him when he arrived to this world, stepping from the incandescent flames of the Creation Forge to take its first steps on Khorvaire... those were holy. How could one choose between two different absolutes? As well ask it to compare the speed of light to that of dark, or ask for how many truths it took to fill a barrel.

Palisade stared at the woman in silence, its gouged faceplate making the weight of its eyes heavier even than usually.

Squeak, not quite centuries of warforged, as the first ones were created in YK 965, 33 years ago. Unless you count the original unsleeping guardians created by the Xen'Drik giants in their war against the Region of Dreams, but no-one really knows about them anymore, save perhaps Merrix d'Cannith who supposedly figured out the secrets of the creation forges and the warforged construction from exploring the surviving ruins on the island.

"Statement. We were made to wage war. If war can no longer be found, it stands to reason some would want to start a new one," Palisade said. It itself did not particularly long for another extended conflict - it had its two purposes of existence already, but it could certainly understand why some of its brethren less fortunate would be lost in time of peace, with no clear chain of command to follow, with little to use the skills given to them at the moment of their creation for. A leader to follow, an enemy to vanguish... such things made existence simple.

Action 2

From talk about healers, may I assume some mechanics will be made available as well, and we start next turn in good health?

With what it would adamantly deny was a sigh of satisfaction if questioned about later, Palisade rose from the bath of warm oil it had spend much of the night immersed in. Along with the Jorasco healers, Cannith magewrights had followed, and they certainly knew what there was to know about proper maintenance. The oil had done wonders for its joints, the refills to its alchemical fluid reservoirs had invigorated its lifewood components. Spare parts had been offered, although Palisade had declined a new faceplate - instead, it had called upon its own magic to mend the metal, until only a jagged line of mirror-bright metal remained where the gouge had been. A light scar on the otherwise dull grey metal to remind it of the price of failure.

I had tagged Squeak and Palisade about the soul we captured from the 2nd fight - any takers on that conversation?

And I thought that Palisade and Squeak may have a reaction to Bronwyn telling them they could decide what to call her, at least Palisade :) I think Squeak is more than happy to call her by her first name.

The 'game' is coming to a little downtime so I will leave those tags open for further discussion when I recap later today if they have not been answered.

Start thinking of something you want to do in Sharn. Maybe the Year of Bronwyn can be more fun now that you have some money to spend. :)

Bronwyn shook her head sadly, "Unfortunately he may be able to attract misguided warforged. This Lord would give some warforged a purpose which would seem attractive to them. Also, many warforged are not treated well by other races and this could lead to resentment making it easy to be turned against the 'flesh and blood'."

Thought there was something else!

It still is frowned upon to ever strip search someone you just meet. But, for example, it seems like for awhile that Palisade would much rather call me something other than Bronwyn. If that is your choice, then go ahead. My remarks earlier weren't a command, just a suggestion."

"Heartfelt relief. Bronw- Lady d'Deneith. This one will be most pleased to comply," Palisade announced with a hint of satisfaction in its voice, unawares of how it was defeating the purpose of Bronwyn's suggestion with its wording.

Re: Loot. As I said, Palisade would love to get the sword (he/it is the only GW user in the group after all), and the defence boosting ‘forged components would be great from a melee character as well. Hopefully Squeak wouldn’t need to be in a position to be hit nearly as often as Palisade is.

About using the money… how much for Repair Light Damage potions? Normal 50gp each?
