Whistle Pig:

The troll is the first thing you see. It's huge. The immense green-skinned brute wields a tree branch for a club and has nine heads, each filled with jutting teeth and tusks.

The room contains a large, rectangular table with chairs to the south, a weapon rack on the north wall, and an ornate side table in the northwest corner. The stench of decay, badly covered by strong spices, comes from the smaller table, which bears a giant platter holding the cooked remains of many animals, humanoids, and other less identifiable creatures.

"Well this is a new one," WP whispers to the group. "A large troll with nine heads. Never seen anything like it."

MAP TEMPLATES | Social Combat | War for the Crown | Campaign Tracker |

Whistle Pig has heard of legendary creatures called Jotund Trolls. Prowling frigid moors and marshes, the rapacious creatures have the same insatiable appetites of common trolls but require much more sustenance because of their excessive size. Jotund trolls stand 30 feet tall and weigh roughly 25,000 pounds.... 1 crunch question.

Raen has heard of such creatures. Thankfully they do not have the regenerative abilities of their common cousins, but each head does have a brain, so they have amazing willpower versus effects that affect the mind (especially confusion). It is said that all nine heads can unleash a battle cry of such discordant sound that it can confuse and terrify men and beasts alike. Finally, their mouths distend so wide that they can simply through a human down their throat without even biting down once to chew...

He lets the bigger people take the front as will move around the back if needed to catch the thing off guard.

Mistake on my part. These trolls DO regenerate unless burned by fire or acid.

Whistle Pig opens the door and slinks in as the others stand (or ride) ready. Every head on this massive beast turns.

It immediately tilts all nine heads back and unleashes an impossibly discordant warcry. It's awful, truly awful. Will DC 19 or be confused for 1d4 rounds IT then moves to a better position with club in hand.
