Again, the bullet finds it's mark.

Whistle Pig continues to be reliable with his sling, breaking an orc nose! Omast moves to the wall, read for a charging orc!

The orcs don't disappoint, those who live ditch the ram and draw falchions as they rush the line. Hamilton's swing misses by a mile, Omast: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24, but Omast strikes the orc with the broken nose! DMG: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12 and killing him!

An orc, completely on fire rushes Hamilton. The bodies prevent a charge, but he still makes his way there: ATK: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24 THREAT Confirm: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17 and nearly takes his head off, the armor preventing it at the last second DMG: 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (4, 2) + 4 = 10 the burning orc FIRE: 1d6 ⇒ 6 dies at Hamilton's feet.

Omast faces a wounded orc of his own: ATK: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20 and takes a deep cut DMG: 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (3, 4) + 4 = 11

The orc to the south does an end around and gets to Doxon! ATK: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21 and slashes the dwarf with brutal power DMG: 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (2, 4) + 4 = 10

Black sloughs his way towards Whistle Pig, but the pile of his dead comrades prevents him from getting a swing in (double move)

White gets up and moves in a bit, clearly messed up from the boulder.

Purple is on fire, and the act of getting up is enough to burn him to death!

Vael assesses the threats to Raen and Whistle Pig. "Doxon, keep that thin' away from Raen if ye ken!"

Axe in hand, the shaman charges the orc harrying Whistle Pig.

Vael strike the orc with almost enough force to drop him, though the orc looks like he'll go down with a final swing.

Hamilton kills the orc as he teams up with Omast!

Doxon drops the crossbow and pulls out both picks as he stares down the orc in front of him.

And swings in at the orc.

Realizing that he doesn't have to time draw his sword he takes a step back. "Get out of there Vael!!" WP tries to protect his friend by firing a bullet at almost point blank range!

Whistle Pig is having non of it, and hits the oncoming orc with enough force to snap its neck and drop him

Hamilton moves back to where he left his bow, and scoops it up on the move. He tosses his guisarme against the barricade, turns and fires.

Hamilton switches back to his bow, and while he gets a hit on the remaining orc, it's not enough to drop him...

Much refreshed by the potion, Raen hurries up towards the front and fires another missile. "Vael, can you give the Sergeant a tap with that wand?"

And with the twang of a bolt, Raen brings down the last orc... for a moment.

A battle horn sounds in the distance. It approaches. No cries of orcs follow, only a single horn... and the roar of a beast.

Raen scores a kill. You have TWO rounds of actions before a new initiative is rolled.

Vael will move to Omast and use the wand to cure some of the sergeants wounds. Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

In the next round he uses the wand for his own injuries.
Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

Omast quickly reloads his crossbow, and grabs a long spear, "Do we stay forward or drop behind the line lads?"

"No need to surrender these defenses, I think. We've still got one pile of logs left," Raen says, reloading her own crossbow. She clips it back to her pack and pulls out the other salvaged scroll. She holds it at the ready.

Ready action to cast grease underneath the first hostile creature east of the existing grease spell. Mid-movement is preferred. DC 11.

Along with the shouts of a few orcs, a frequent and throaty roar joins the cacophony. The orc and the...thing... continue to howls and shout. It's a command to attack. There are no words, only fury, but the meaning is clear.

When the orc turns the corner, it's obvious from where the roar came. This orc holds a leash on a lizard the size of Doxon. This immense lizard moves with a slow but relentless gait. Its feet end in large talons, and ropes of drool hang from its toothy maw!

Behind him a trio of orcs bearing wickedly forward hooked blades prepare to charge.

He hops over the barricade and drags two orc bodies, shoring up the barricade with dead orcs.

Doxon prays for Torag's Blessing (Protection), then readies to shoot the first orc he sees.

Ushlye moves alongside ham and nods to Vael. When you get a chance, friend... he points to his blood-stained shoulder.

Vael flicks the wand in his hand, utters the command word for it, and reaches out to Ushyle. Positive energy then flows through the half-orc.

Hamilton scoops up his bow and looses his arrow at the beast master...

He then picks up the guisarme and heads down the line to stand by Doxon.

Hamilton's hit is extremely solid, sinking to the fletching as hit strikes her stomach.

WP need to find a weapon with more range for fights like these...
The lizard is at long range but it's the best shot he has.

Whistle Pig's sling stone richochet's harmlessly off the lizard's hide. Raen uses her wand to try and trip up the beast and its handler:

Tamer REF: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
Monitor: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

They keep their feet and she yells for the orcs to charge! The three in the back move forward, but the bodies piled up prevent them from getting any kind of attack started. The first one side steps the grease and closes straight into Ushyle's Chudon no kamae. The half-orc's blade sprays blood everywhere, nearly dropping the orc dead in a single swing.

The other two orcs take different approaches, one moves around, while the other tests the grease REF: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (12) + 0 = 12 and makes it through.

The beast-tamer lets go of the leash and hurls a javelin at Hamilton Javelin: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21 and hits him in the shoulder for DMG: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

The lizard charges forward, looking to get across.

Let's see if this does anything

Seeing the foes before him, Doxon shouts out, "TORAG!", as his god's grace bolsters him. Doxon drops his crossbow and pulls out his dagger. Then he deftly cuts the rope on the logs.

Swift action to use Fervor to cast Divine Favor on himself.

Dagger: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
Damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

The logs roll.

Doxon cuts the logs, and the roll into and over a lizard and an orc!

Ushlye watches the impetuous Hamilton leap across the barricade with a touch of amusement. Foolhardy, but brave. Got to give him that.

His eyes fall on the remaining upright orc and he realizes Ham is all alone, which is both unwise and dangerous. He follows the Ranger across the barricade, greataxe in hand, determined to give him some support.

Raen feels the scroll crumble in her fingers and instinctively reaches for her crossbow (move action last round if allowed). She fires and reloads as quickly as she can.

Raen scoes a solid hit on the orc, trying to overcome its ferocity with additional wounds.

Omast takes up the same effort, using his crossbow against the beast tamer, assuming Ushyle will finish the job.

ATK: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15 for DMG: 1d10 ⇒ 8 and his bolt hits the beast-tamer in the chest!

The dying orc takes a swing at Ushyle: ATK: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8, but it's feeble at best.

The beast-tamer, lacking a beast closes with Ushyle and attacks with her double axe: ATK: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22 and connects for DMG: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

With a nod, the half-orc five foots to his right, and readies himslef.
