1d6 falling damage was ten feet i think, might be wrong didn´t look it up.

Pai Song let´s the others know what that thing in the pit is.

Watch out, it´s a slime mold in the pit, immune to fire and it can give you some nasty diseases as far as i know!

Jostrum fires his bow at the remaining goblin then gets down on his knee, offering his arm to Slypher. Come man! Get out of there!

Yes, it is 10'. You can make a STR check to try to pull him out, Slypher can "Aid Another" or Acrobatics if he likes. All of these things will provoke an AoO against Slypher however.

I was thinking Jostrum would Aid Another for Slypher's Acrobatics check, if and when he decides to. I assume there is no way for Slypher to step away from melee, to enable a non -4 shot.

[I am having a very hard time keeping up with everyone's wounds. Everyone seems to have a different format in their status line. Please yelp if you need healing, as that is my primary purpose in life]

Jostrum's arrow hits the goblin in the thigh. The pain causes him to yelp but maintains his balance in the duel with Sorin.
The Slime Mold again tries to attack Slypher.

Dorgrin puts his crossbow on the floor and goes down into the pit with the aid of the rope Osric tied to the door. At the bottom, he doesn't touch the floor but ties the rope around his wrist and grabs Slypher's belt with the other hand. He then shouts : Pull us back up !

lol... I wish my rolls were half as good when I am the PC!

Dorgrin is able to get down the trap easily but as he is tying the rope around Slypher, the slime moves to attack him!

Slam Attack- AoO 10' reach: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21 Damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 and of course a Fort Save Dc15 against disease.

The goblin fighting Sorin realizes his peril and takes a 5' step down the hall and adopts a defensive position with his dogslicer.

The half-hearted jab is easily parried by Sorin.

Parrying the half-hearted strike from the goblin, Sorin pivots and slams the greatsword towards the goblin. Fortunately for the goblin, he had chosen just the right moment to duck, and the blade whirred over the gobbo's head, harmlessly.

Jostrum drops his bow and jumps into the pit, drawing his handaxe, as he lands he attacks the slime mold.

Can you take a Ten on Acrobatics? Can drawing the axe be a free action as part of the "movement", jumping down?

Jostrum leaps into the pit and makes contact with the mold. A few of the spores slice off, but the menace is able to keep fighting. Osric's healing powers help keep Slypher from going unconscious, but the Magus is still sluggish and now on his feet.
Meanwhile, Sorin and the goblin continue their duel. Neither fighter is able to best the other.

The mold tries to attack Jostrum.
Slam Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22 for Damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 and a Fort Save DC 15 versus disease.

Wow, my dice rolls are pretty insane. Sorry folks. At least in the other games, they are so bad this is evening out the rolls pretty nicely! The Slime Mold looks pretty injured, but not giving up yet!

Pai Song steps to the edge of the pit murmuring strange words and pointing her hand on the mold.

Dorgrin grits his teeth as the slime hits him but the healings provided by Osric manage to wipe the wounds almost entirely.

Seeing that Slypher is now standing up, the dwarf draws his battleaxe and attacks the mushrooms too.

Pai's acid singes the mold, but only just. The hideous monster just continues to live! Dorgin tries to slash the monster, but his attack doesn't connect.

The remaining goblin withdrawals fro Sorin and runs down the hall! He runs 40' and turns around the corner and out of site.

Retcon

Frustrated enough to almost drop his sword and simply start punching the goblin, Sorin snarls in fury as the goblin turns and runs. Sorin pounds after the creature ready to slice him in two if he gets the opportunity.

Sorin moves after with his 40' move. If he can see the goblin then, he will attack, if not, he skids to a halt before the corner and pokes his head around the corner cautiously.

The duel in the pit continues, but nobody can find a weakness in the Slime Mold. Oscric's powerful healing restores health to the party.
Sorin dashes down the hall and looks around the corner to see the goblin running through a room that looks to be a sleeping quarter for the goblins. This particular one looks to be heading through a door on the other side of the room.
Sorin you are far away from a light source aren't you?

Attack Jostrum: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
The Mold tries to attack Jostrum again, but can't find a hole in the defense of the awe-wielding warrior.

BTW, the acid splash from last round continues this round and does 1 dmg again because of the acid as casting focus, which is not expended. If one expends it, it does 1 damage more (which is somehow silly because the acid alone does more damage).

Seeing the light fade before him, the room ahead a mere silhouette in the gloom, Sorin curses, turns and jogs back toward the pit.

"He is getting away! What is taking you so long with this stupid pit?" he says nearly snarling in anger as he comes up to the edge and looks down.

"Oi. Never mind. That looks pretty gross, whatever it is...how do you kill it? he asks, almost sheepishly.

Can Osric see a way across the pit? Like a ledge on the side or something? Or does he need to climb down and back up to cross?

If there is not an easy way across, he will cast light on a starknife and toss it across the pit to the corner to give Sorin some light.

Finally, the last few hacks from the party bring the slumbering horde of mushrooms to a halt. They all seem to die at once and slump to the ground.
The hallway falls quite, save for the huffing and puffing of the fighters.
Osric can see that there is a small ledge on either side of the pit which one could avoid falling (DC15 Acrobatic check). At this point, he can also climb down the pit and climb out the other side (DC 10 Check, can take '10').

Pai Song climbs down into the pit, inspects what is left of the mold satisfying (Is that spelled right?) her curiousity about the strange creature and taking a sample as well as looking for the remnants of former victims. Then she climbs out on the other side. Or at least that´s her plan.

Pai can't find much of the remains of the mold, but she does find this. If you failed your Fort check, the disease will take effect after the scenario unless you get a Cure Disease spell cast on you. At the end, we can go over how to get rid of effects like disease.
