Your not going to hurt my feelings, however my initial racist post I wrote aimed at Jaeger and Ethyra's characters was a little/way too harsh.
I myself am not affected by foul language slurrs and such, I can't understand them or how they have power over people. Normally those who insult me get angry when I laugh at them for their inability to interact with people normally. Thats why I changed it up perswonally, Kiedren's wasn't aimed at anyone, which is a major difference hehe.
If ever I cross the line let me know. The Angelo's/Crosses know that I have been angry before and it goes in the Discussion thread and you will know the day I get mad. I'm opinionated and certain people justm make me lose it. Now that I am in a supervisory role I am learning to calm such hasty reactions. It's hard but i'm growing up, well more :P.
Besides I work in the Oilfield and up here you hear EVERYTHING and deal with every type of attitude and nastiness there is in the Human Genome.

Ah yes, unless noted you guys don't have all of your supplies. As I wouldn't assume you'd be packing gear through a festivel. If I am wrong then by all means have your pack. But I trust you can role play the situation without my interference. The torch however remains as is, you have it done deal. :) The question is how many do you have? >:)
Good to know! Yeah, I grew up with a pretty colorful lot so Kieran's voiceis coming pretty naturally, haha! I'm guessing truckers and bikers are in the same field of thinking and speaking as your crew.

As for gear: Cid and Kieran basically just got into town. My guess would be that most of the inns and taverns were pretty well booked due to the holiday so the two of us were going to camp on the outskirts of town for the night and do campaign signup in the morning. For this reason we'd be carrying along our packs and supplies. If this doesn't sit right with you, just say the word. I'm a firm believer in Rule Zero.
Ya I agree Lomar wouldn't have anything accept what's on his person. Which works out great since I's forgotten to actually buy any equipment for him ;)

Well I for one am already having fun. I like that you added npcs like Denison so we had an instant connection to the attack. Some one we personally knew and saw killed to add to the effect.
I can't wait till I get a chance to showcase Jaeger's attitude the flippancy and self confidence. I haven't truly had a chance yet, the thugs and stuff was fun though. Also I know you were worried about offending trust me it was all fine. I was hoping for just that kind of stuff, I wanted him protecting people he knew hated him yet soon it all the same.

DM - I was wondering, because we have 7 players and you're controlling enemies: how are we going to work standard combat? What takes 5 mins around a table at home can last for about a month on PbP's with a crowd like this . Did you have any special procedures in mind to quicken it up a 'lil?
Post within your block (before or after enemies) DM recaps with actions in order. If everyone in your block has gone, you have 24 hours before being NPC'd for the round.
I think we should implement a 24/48 hour post limit during combat if missed Corerue either Assumes your delaying or Npc's your turn.
Seriously ninja'd....the only problem with blocks is it does occasionally end up with weird results, but it's the quickest method.
Word! Yeah, I can see how it could get a little screwy. Just have to keep the descriptions of what we're up to a little vague. It's confusing when you wrote you cut an enemy in half with a greatsword but the wizard had already immolated him into a pile of smoking cinders two turns ago.
Combat could get a little one-sided this way too. Using the above as an example: Block A (Jaeger, Seren & Kieran), Enemies (... *cough*), Block B (Ethyra, Cid, Lasciel & Lomar).

Block B's turn
Block A's turn
Enemy's turn
etc...
Enemies essentially take a full sweep of PC attacks before they get a chance to reply. Breaking enemies into smaller blocks would dispel that but it puts us back a step in combat speed. Eh. Y'know what? Done nitpicking. Sorry, sorry... I know it's not gonna be perfect so I'm eagerly looking forward to some Hard-as-Nails Sons-a-B@*%#es on the receiving ends of our swords!!!

Not the last few hitches. Everyone is going somewhere else it seems or there getting injured or they can't make their flight because they procrastinated until the Last day home on getting their DOT physical done. The usual some people are just wiggly piggly on everything oilfield stuff...
