So long as tou arent super uber weak str and not trying to carry a ton of stuff. I dont really care for encumbrance. Especially in combat.
@Kaladon: what classes were you needing warlock or riven mage? As ot stands you are go for either one. Jaeger is a 3rd pt class so i wont hold you from using one as well. <3
Apologies for slowdown. Been only sleeping 3-4 hours a day at work and i am exhausted. There are multiple jobs i am applyig for and doing the footwork to hopefully get one. Will get some posts up by tomorrow.

Khaladon |

Yup, 4d6 was always there. So no missing roll?
I don't think the Warlock is overpowerful or too weak, but I'm open to others opinions on the matter.
So assuming it's all good. I'll plug the new stats and race in and go with the new (improved??) Lomar.

DM Corerue |

Good to hear! :)
Working on slipping in 20+ posts on my work computer today. WE FINALLY had a slow day. My god. Had guys breaking legs, one guy at home had a severe head injury (he's 50) and for a couple days he thought he was 16 and in colorado (he is in Alaska) some scary stuff. He is slowly recovering his memory but for awhile he didn't recognize his coworkers.
In the words of the Avengers, he had a cognitive reset. A bad one. :(

DM Corerue |

Yeah... I am thankful no one has died and I am not the one getting injured.
Questions for players!
Have any of you brought any family members, romances (except Jaeger and his wife :P lol) or the like with you to Kenebra's?
Is there anything you have planned based off the descripitions of places I posted in the beginning?
Anything else of import? ;)

Jaeger di Angelo |

Jaeger's father lives in Old Kenabres...and more in a soon to appear pm.
Edit: Nevermind no pm not going to do that.
Also Jaeger spends some of his time at the blackwing library studying up in different demons.

Lomar Shadowan |

Hey ok so I'm picking the Riftwarden Orphan trait as well. So maybe Lomar and Lasciel can be foster/adopted brothers and sisters?
Will be an interesting duo too with Lasciel's Asimar lightness contrasting to Lomar's Fetchling darkness. Perhaps their adopted parents had a fondness/connection for outsiders or orphans they knew would have a particularly difficult time getting adopted or fitting in to society? Or perhaps both their parents worked together and went off on the mission together so both left their children with the same trusted friends?
If that sounds good and works for you Lasciel I'll start my write up.
For the beginning sequence I can see Lomar lurking through the crowd, following his sister and watching all those who watch her. He's an incredibly handsome and forceful young man as well, but he tends more towards broodiness, aloofness and superiority. Perhaps, because they're not true blood brothers and sisters, he may also have a strong attraction to her, something he feels incredibly guilty and shameful about, but nevertheless cannot stop himself from having.
If going with this, Lomar is almost the opposite of Lasciel in almost every way. He bears the tattoo of the Sign of the Seeker Spiral as well, but his is on his chest, and he prefers to keep it covered up. The only hints of it are the twin spires which crawl up past his collar bones and neck, their tips ending just at the corners of his jaw. While she is bright and shining and attention seeking, he is dark and brooding aloof and rarely seeks the company of others except his sister.

Khaladon |

Oh, and this is mostly just for fluff, but I was thinking it might be cool if Lasciel and Lomar had developed a kind of sense for each other's whereabouts and could always tell what general direction the other was generally in.
Unless that's too powerful or game changing Corerue?

Kieran Crane |

Yeah... I am thankful no one has died and I am not the one getting injured.

Holiday craziness means I won't be able to post till late or tomorrow but I can still answer background questions and such. Kieran left his family on their farm back in the river kingdom. Figure he'll send them the gold to come up later in the campaign if it makes sense time-wise. He's definitely a family man and I'll bring that up more in game than anything. He'll write them and keeps a journal about his thoughts and adventures for his sons to read when their older.

Jaeger di Angelo |

Hmm, I've thought about dropping hero points for an extra feat....but I have a feeling I'll miss those points so I think I'll leave it as is, and not tempt fate.
Also really want to see how those mooks respond now. :) Because I've no problem smacking them around a bit.

Cedeleon "Cid" Reave |

Cid's desire to join the crusade is indirectly related to the events that occurred in the Underdark. He was married to a noblewoman, but they had a child that was not noble, and so she was sacrificed by the hands of the mother to the House's patron demon lord, Zura. A series of events occurred, which I will flesh out in more detail in his backstory on his character sheet, and he was hunted down in the Underdark. He was saved by a mysterious woman (Chance Encounter trait), who brought him to the surface, where Kieran's sister found him and brought him to Kieran. So he's always had a grudge against demons and demon worshipers, revoking his own faith, and seeks to gain power over his former patrons. He lives with Kieran in the Riverlands, virtually in hiding, because from what I read about drow is that they are virtually unheard of by humans, but elves know of them. He'll definitely be putting ranks into Disguise and such.
I like the Lomar and Lasciel bit. Very cool!

Kieran Crane |

This is pretty cool! I like how this is playing out so far. If I'm lucky enough to convince my son to take a nap later, I should be able to finish typing up the hot points of Kieran's background. Maybe I'll just do bullet points for now. Eh, whatever.
Lomar & Lasciel: Good job syncing up characters. Very neat way of putting them together. It should be interesting to see how their relationship develops over the course of the campaign. Gold Stars!!!

Cedeleon "Cid" Reave |

No worries, Cori. It's the last week of classes and finals are next week so my posting will be scarce, if at all. So if Cid needs to be put on auto-pilot to keep things going, by all means. Same for Tyrn.
Best of luck with the potty training! You should try bribing him ;)

Kieran Crane |

Parenthood is a series of Diplomacy (Handle Animal?) checks. Bribery can be a pretty great way to augment that.
I'm pretty sure we've just finished with the worst in potty training my son. He would pee on the potty whenever he felt the slightest need but pooping... *shudder* It's stressful, brother. Good luck!

Jaeger di Angelo |

Kieran Crane |

Mayhem!?!? Here or in Skyfall? *gasp!* Both, maybe!? :-D

Jaeger di Angelo |

So, I've been thinking about taking eldritch heritage for some more demon inspired stuff...but really....should I? Most of the stuff I receive won't really help us to much in the game...what should I do?

Jaeger di Angelo |

So here's a thought....I'm focusing on intimidate and feinting and stuff. What about dazzling display+mythic and shatter defenses to make enemies flat footed? Weapon focus at 3 dazzling at 5,and shatter at 7?
