Lounge dancer! Come on, you know you want that late night entertainment around the campfire ;)

Karzack the Friendly Human. On the run after eating a few elves from Kyoin
Easy to please! Simply throw him a few elves now and then and he'll be more than happy to follow you wherever ya go. So loyal.

Very regretfully, I'm going to have to withdraw the recruitment. I don't feel that the game has enough steam to keep going with a half-and-half table, and while (as you have all pointed out) you guys certainly do have enough for a full new table (and a very entertaining one it would be), I think I have too many responsibilities right now as a player and GM to spread myself into another game.
I'm sorry for the wasted time and effort of creating your characters, but I did very much enjoy reading the applications and I hope to see many of these characters in other games on the boards.
Good luck to all! Thank you again for applying!

To defend dien (while also taking a gander over at their discussion thread), I'm pretty sure it's because all the original players bar one seem to be dropping out, something that hasn't been clear up until this point. That sort of loss is incredibly demoralising to a GM - basically all the work that's gone into the game already down the drain... and that's a lot more work than a single level 6 character! (Not to mention you can easily reuse your applications!)

I was following the discussion thread and I am aware that setting up a game is far more work than building characters. Problem is Dien asked her existing group if they wanna go on 3 days after putting up the recruitment.

When I put up the recruiting thread, I had one drop of a table of four.
And then a little after that, I had another, and then a little after that, I had only one player that was going to be continuing that game.
I'm sorry that you feel it was a lot of wasted work to make a character, but as someone who makes my own characters for games an awful lot of the time and watches them die/not get accepted/etc etc I don't actually feel it is that much work out on your part. And as a player, I would much rather the GM tell me the game won't happen before I get accepted than after I do get accepted and have the game die in the middle of the first combat, as has happened to me multiple times.
*shrugs* Anyway, I already apologized for the time people spent creating characters that won't be used. Lots of people save their characters for other games. I'm sorry again, but have fun carrying on gaming.
