Wouldn't Sardus' armour still be here? Isn't this where you guys started? I thought it would just be Luthar, Aterro and myself affected. I also figured that as marines 'where possible' save armour as well as geneseed, they would have spare sets at any form of deathwatch base/ship, whether these would be old relic sets or brand new sets, some form of spare would be needed. I was hoping that i could perhaps just use my original roll as Corvus armour is ideal for an assault marine.

Regardless, I'm sure you'd be able to get the same armor, maybe just "re-roll" history or choose same as before, doubt you'll be stuck with something other than what you'd want, but roleplaying as if it were new could be fun for you and Korbin.

Yeah, the Emperor's Wings is the battle barge the game started with as it's home base and Sethiro Weyland was the Inquisitor that sent you to retrieve Shar Quinn and the device.
The 'newcomer' marines can use their original rolls for their armor, the battle barge has everything you need even if you would have technically lost your original unused equipment when the strike cruiser went down.

You can take any additional equipment per mission equal to the requisition and renown levels and seeing as you all are high enough renown to have terminator armor and I never provide less than 100 requisition each mission you should always be able to take terminator armor on each mission if that's what you want.
I'd like to be able to purchase the "Disarm" talent, its not on Librarian path, so it'll be an Elite advance. Assault has it at rank 5 for 500, Apothecary at Rank 5 for 1000.
I think its a good fit for Luthar who doesn't use ranged weapons...Actually just gunz, been looking at a few other options that might give him some range, trying to find this "bladed" ring of death you could throw, might be fun. Saw it in some book, just can't remember.
Also power just says its an Opposed WS test to disarm or take weapon, I'm assuming that counts for ranged and melee weapons both??
So consider my question above and let me know a price, saved some XP. Also, looking to go Alt. Rank Epistolary, so just a heads up there for future thought. It'll be at transition to Rank 6 probably.
You can only disarm while in close combat but yes you can take a ranged weapon as well as a melee one.
In general I let players take whatever elite advances they want but for a very expensive price.
In this case you can have disarm for 1,200 XP if you are willing to pay.
Sounds good with the Epistolary.
In other news I think I've decided to lower the damage of bolt weapons from 2d10 dice to 1d10 die, keeping it more in line with making other weapons attractive options too. I believe this is in line with the Errata.
As I am just springing this on you guys if you have invested deeply in bolt weapons I'm willing to provide some refunds if you don't want to use them anymore.

Yeah, I do the same, it seems I'm still having problems right now but I'll work to post in gameplay as well.
Any thoughts on Leader or Oath? I'll take a look at our options and try to post a few that might be relevant....Could be that Luthar might be a good choice, depends on how a Librarian leading us might benefit the team...Needs to double check.
If Luthar is up for it, the Oath of the Emperor could be useful if we suspect warp involvement (and who doesn't! ) and Oath of Knowledge looks good too. Otherwise i am always a fan of Oath of the Weapon.
I like the "Soak Fire" and "Tactical Spacing" abilities. Both Given in "Oath of Loyalty". Tactical Spacing available for "Oath of Astartes" which includes "Tactical Advance."
Those are my top choices if Sardus leads.
Any Oath is good for me. I saw some cool Librarian Oaths and maybe once I get a little more experience I'll try to lead, for now, I think I'll let you guys continue to call the shots.

If it comes to the Squad mode abilities that Snowman listed, then Oath of Astartes is good for me. The Soak Fire really isn't that necessary with Luthar's rune powers, a little redundant, as cool as it is...
I'm game for whatever, just ready to figure out my equipment.
If anyone needs extra points, I'll probably have some, as he's not taking any ranged weapons, ammo, or excessive technology.

Exceptional lightning claw 45, stummer 5, cartograph 5, bolter 5, camo cloak 20 (will prob swap this for a combat shield to fill Sardus' role suggestion).
This leaves 20 which if anyone needs they can have, otherwise i will probably get a sight and explosives of some sort or a better gun.

That must be tough and will take some getting used to.
My previous boss has an autistic son (now 18 and outgrown his dad) and although sometimes it has been hard for them, the good bits shine all the brighter for it.
When our fire station closed he expected his son to either show complete disinterest or be very upset (he was unsure whether his son's social awkwardness or hatred of change would win through). In fact he was delightfully surprised when his son 'wanted to come and say goodbye, because it was important to his dad'. The sheer pride and joy in my boss's eyes when he told me this will stay with me for a long time.
I guess what I am saying is that your son will still surprise you, delight you and love you,it may just be that his love is harder to see sometimes.

Even after all this time we are only about 20% through the more linear part of the main campaign before it becomes more open, which will likely last as long as everything that came before it once it happens before the last battle and final resolution so this game is going to be around awhile. Just drop back in whenever you are ready and we will catch you up.
So, here is the situation; I've been having some computer issues for a bit but I didn't think much of them but now it looks like my comp is going kaput and, being the poor person I am, I can't easily afford a new one. Not to sure what to do at this point, I can post on my phone but it's glitchy as hell and really not suited to long posts.
As much as it galls me I may have to suspend the games I'm in til I get a replacement comp but I don't know when that will be. I think my only real choice right now is to just put my games into hibernation then once I am capable again of regular big posts send a PM to each player to see if each is still interested in picking the game up again.
In our game where I am an Inquisitor BayouSnowman she will have to be an NPC for awhile I think.
