Xix looks rather excited when Isu and Ted look to be complying. She spits in annoyance when Arc and Jelico put a stop to it. "Eh? Eh?" She takes a step forward, snapping in response to Arc "Yeah I'm bored. Thats-just-so-so-so-so-freakin-far-in-the-future! I can't wait that long!" She twitches her head from side to side. "Ah-hah-hah-got-it-got-it! I'll-take-the-bot-whether-you-want-it-or-not-yep."

Jelico likely gets a sense from these exchanges that the ysoki doesn't have much allegiance to the Devourer cult. Unfortunately, she's so hopped up right now that without giving her exactly what she wants, she's almost impossible to sway. It might be possible to get her to give up on the Devourer cult if you offer the right stuff or back her into a corner.

She taps her wrench against the collar of her jumpsuit and shouts "OI! SISSY! HELP ME!"

Arc slices into the pink bot's body with his blade, damaging its internals. Jelico's follow up shot is a narrow miss, the jolt of electricity deflecting off the bot's armor. Spectre's plasma bolts blaze across the room with some fearsome power, but with combatants providing her cover, Xix is able to avoid them. Ted's icy shot hits the pink bot and cracks some of its surface plating.

Xix bangs a rapid sequence on the nearby table with her wrench and suddenly all three bots reorient themselves. She giggles in pure excitement and then takes a quick potshot with her pistol at Arc. Her shot catches him in the chest, but deals him minimal damage (7 dmg after DR)

The pink bot orients its cannon-shaped head at Arc, but rather than any blast emitting from it, a robotic arm emerges from the orifice wielding a weighty hammer. The top-heavy bot takes a swing... and delivers a powerful strike to Arc's torso, almost sending him tumbling back. (16 dmg after DR) The blue and orange bots fire their welding lasers now at Spec, one missing while the other delivers a beam right into the droid's face. (Critical for 22 fire damage) Xix does a little dance.

"What is this, a cartoon trivid?!" he says, indignant. He rights himself as Isu takes said robot down and turns to Xix.

The pink bot takes an icy beam from Ted and a lightning quick slash from Isu before Isu's reaping cleave takes it down. The bot collapses and begins to crackle with smoke and electricity.

Engineering DC20; noticing something:
The pink bot's chassis is rumbling and sparking in a way that makes it look like its about to explode. The burst is likely to not take up much of the room, but being very close to the bot when it booms is probably a bad idea.

Although Spec's wild plasma beams damage and melt objects near Xix, neither shot actually injures the ysoki. Jelico's attack also falls far short of hitting her. Arc on the other hand collides with her with a burning tackle. She flies back 5 feet, but stays standing. (This forced movement provokes AoOs from Isu and Arc)

Xix cries out "What-what-what!?" and looks more upset about the destruction of the pink bot than her own injuries. She raises her pistol at Arc and fires twice. One shot misses but the second bullet strikes squarely (dealing 13 dmg after DR). Her two remaining bots switch from welding lasers to simply throwing themselves at Isu. Isu is easily able to fend them off thanks to the sturdiness of his power armor.

Isu delivers a deadly strike as Xix flies back, cutting deep into her side. His follow up against the orange bot almost shears it in half, but it stays functional enough for now. Both remaining bots simply let him back off, their programming not sophisticated enough to take advantage of the opportunity.

Although Ted's icy shot misses, Spec strikes Xix with a blast of plasma to the face. She emerges from the crackling flames very badly injured, but not quite out of the fight. Her mood, previously frantic and angry, turns withdrawn and even more jittery than before.

Jellico backs himself up against the wall across from where he was, hoping to stay out of any blast from the fallen bot.

Noticing that orange is on it's last legs, he throws two Shooting Stars at his, hoping to finish it off.

Jelico's shooting stars knock the orange bot down. Its limbs swivel helplessly for a few moments in an attempt to get back up, but it gives up soon after. Arc's pistol shot catches the remaining blue bot and partly melts its casing. (Don't forget the specialization bonus on that weapon!)

Soon afterward, the pink bot explodes in a burst of electricity. The blue bot gets caught in the burst, getting further damaged in the process. Xix groans, saying "No-no-no-no-no-no. Hold-up-hold-up!" but still bangs a rapid sequence out with her wrench. The blue bot wobbles for a moment and then charges forward at Jelico. It slams itself hard into the mystic (Dealing 15 dmg)

Arcalinte holsters his gun and redraws his sword, then he steps up to the remaining robot and his sword flares brightly as he takes a swing at it.

A blaze of plasma sends Xix tumbling into the line of inactive bot enclosures. She lets out a pained squeak and slumps against them, likely dead. Meanwhile a sparking jolt from Jelico and a careful swipe from Arc cut down the final remaining hostile bot, leaving the Workshop and Maintenance room free of hazards.

Combat Over!

Looking around the room, the more technically minded members of the group can tell that Xix has done a number of the bots here, taking them apart and engaging in some creative rewiring. The bots along the northern wall appear to be untouched, but also lack power.

Isu has time to pick up her pistol (an advanced semi-auto) while Arc checks on the ysoki and finds her a hair away from death. (If you'd like to heal or stabilize her, you would have to do so immediately) However, their perusal of Xix and her gear is abruptly cut off by a door in the hallway cycling open and a chorus of wild hollers filling the air.

Spec, Ted and Jelico spot a trio of Devourer cultists and a heavily cybernetically enhanced half-orc looking armed and raring to go. The three common cultists wield serrated longswords while the half-orc wields a pistol and knife.

Jelico's powerful arctic blast catches all four of the foes. They manage to shield themselves from the initial icy shock, with the half-orc somehow coming out of it entirely unscathed, but are still hampered by the ice and snow suddenly covering every surface. (The circle in blue is now difficult terrain. Unfortunately they *all* made their save :( ) Spec delivers a blast of plasma into the blue fanatic, burning him badly but not finishing him off.

Due to the ice and snow, the cultists struggle to close the distance with your team. Their charge with blades raised turns into more of a slip and slide before they leave the vortex. (Three of them double moved) They get up in the faces of the party's spellcasters.

Meanwhile the half orc nimbly moves to the south, spitting snow out of her mouth. "You think this little trick's gonna stop us?" She fires at Jelico, sending a jolt of red plasma into his torso. (Dealing 35 damage and leaving you flatfooted)

"We need some help out here!" Jellico yells as Ted's blast goes off. He finds himself much too close to these cultists. He's not a melee fighter and there's little place to run. Instead, Jellico raises his hands and focuses his will. The butterfly tattoo on his wrist glows brightly and, in the blink of an eye, that brightness consumes his entire body.

Where Jellico stood is now a figure covered in starlight.
Starlight Form! It's a Su so I don't think changing provokes. Here's some of the description: Your body sheds normal light in a 30-foot radius, and you gain the benefits of concealment (20% miss chance). At 7th level, a creature that ends its turn adjacent to your starlight form must succeed at a Fortitude save or be blinded for 1 round.

I also get the benefits of a 3rd level Fly spell while in this form.

The blue and red fanatics manage to shield themselves from the worst of Ted's massive explosive blast, but the yellow one and the leader of the team are not so quick to respond. All four emerge from the flames significantly burned, some more than others. Isu's following swing cuts deep into both red and yellow, but both manage to remain standing - if only barely in yellow's case.

Jelico blazes with light, illuminating the industrial corridor. As Spec backs off, yellow and blue take swipes at him. Their jagged blades bite into his armor, drawing blood oil. His blast of plasma down the hall catches an exultant cultist mid-laugh. The blue cultist shudders as his flesh blazes, then collapses face first.

The half-orc shouts "Little bit of light ain't anythin'! Get him!" The two fanatics steps into flanking positions and deliver swipes with their longswords. One connects, tearing flesh, while the other one simply can't find Jelico within the glow. (25 damage, the second was defeated by miss chance) Red manages to also keep his eyesight in the face of the brilliant light, but Yellow ends up blinded.

The half-orc leader snorts "Pathetic, PATHETIC!" and fires upon Isu. The kasatha's armor deflects the jolt of plasma from her pistol.

Arc heals Xix from the brink of death, quickly bringing the ysoki back to consciousness. She begins thrashing about wildly as soon as she's awake, shouting "Ya won't take me, ya Stewards scum!" and scrambling around for any weapon she can get her hands on. Weak as she is though, Arc doesn't have much trouble binding her up with the cable. (Yep, those would be your two turns)

In the hallway, Isu's swipe sends fanatics flying with sprays of blood. Both yellow and red fall to his single swing. Jelico ends up free to back up and take cover behind Isu, somewhat protected from the remaining foe. While Ted's shot misses, Spec blasts the half-orc ringleader in the leg. She growls in pain before returning fire. Her plasma blast connects with the droid, sending jolts of electricity into his circuits. (Dealing 21 dmg, off-target 1 rd) Thanks to her tumble mid-attack, she ends up leaning on the southern door where she shouts "OI! MALICE! WE GOT TROUBLE!"

Isu is serious here. If you guys insist on doing non-lethal and wasting our resources healing this enemy that has no interest in diplomacy, Isu is going to walk away. Both gamewise and metagaming wise, both Isu and me, Paul, think you are wrong about this. I am not doing non-lethal in here and putting us as a constant disadvantage. You know the math. Is it very very finely tuned in Starfinder. You dealing nonlethal in an area that is meant to do lethal will result in us all dying. Cellion is doing his best to show us that diplomacy is not an option, our kish friends have basically said diplomacy is not an option, yet you persist.

And Arc, just because you are playing lawful does not mean there is no room for admitting you have been wrong about something. Otherwise you are just playing one of those stereotypical paladins that have such a bad reputation among most players.

Just to be clear, I'm not saying that me the player is walking away and quitting if you don't agree with me, that would be silly. What I'm saying is that Isu is going to walk out of the Foundry the way we came if you don't agree. You are welcome to try a one on one, Arc. But now that Isu has given his say in the matter, you can expect him to not let you get away with it. It is in his character to not allow you to committ suicide like that so he will intervene. In other words, climb up there and start engaging her, and I will join you as soon as I can. Though I am pretty busy busting up these minions so honestly you might get a few rounds in.

Correct me if I'm wrong Isu, but I believe your plan is to keep your round 1 action as is (engage with one of the ground level kish). So Arc, I think the offer will end up moot indeed. Not that you can't have a cool duel with Xavra if you want, but the rest of the party will be engaged in combat with other foes.

yeah that is what I'm suggesting. If you want to fight her go ahead, but I at least won't sit around wasting turns while you do it. maybe you can convince her to just target you.

if you want a chance at a true duel then you should work it out ahead of time with the GM. A duel with the final boss (I'm assuming) isn't fair to the rest of us who have also been looking forward to this battle.

I see what you mean. That's a good idea, actually.

In the meantime, I'm gonna try the ultimate Hail-Mary diplomacy tactic and offer Xavra the means to take their vengeance to the cultists in person...likely won't work, even with that roll, but it might be interesting to see if Xavra would be willing to chase after their enemy rather than just drive us off.

I propose #1, someone please kill the blue guy. He can't have THAT much HP left.

My plan is to swing once and step away from the boss, so she has to follow me and only get one attack hopefully. If that works out right then I'll only take like 30 damage a round and could last like 5 rounds or so. Though I am going to get pinned up against the yellow one pretty soon.

In the meantime, if you guys after killing the blue one could concentrate on Xavra, that would be great. She really is the only threat here. The others might do a little damage to you but your AC and stamina should be able to take it for a few rounds.

we've done 164 damage... sheesh! Keep up on those magic missiles, that is really adding up!

We don't have anyway to pull down her AC, do we? That is something to consider as we level up next and can get new abilities. We need some debuffing power against bosses. Of course bosses will resist almost any spells because of high saves. Is there a spell that does a slight effect even if they pass?

Also-- the loot sheet needs some attention. For example I think the xray visor and haste circuit have been claimed but they are still sitting there. Go ahead and move them to the claim worksheet if you took them and put your name by it.
