R2 DIE BUG! Tuhwang 1d20+4=12
Ryor lets the shot off but it skips off the carapace and shatters against the wall.
Last repeater bolt?
Bohdan |
how big are these scorpions?
As everybody rushes into the surgery, Bohdan follows.
Seeing the poisonous critters Bohdan leaps up on one of the surgery tables and stabs at the scorpion that threatens Pulsifer.

how big are these scorpions?
Medium vermin. About 4 feet long.
As everybody rushes into the surgery, Bohdan follows.Seeing the poisonous critters Bohdan leaps up on one of the surgery tables and stabs at the scorpion that threatens Pulsifer.
As he leaps onto the stone surgery table Bohdan handily skewers the disgusting chelicerata... which Wetsands will no doubt be cooking soon.

Wetsands and Syd's scorp hooks Wetsands by the leg and rip into the muscle deeply (9 hits). The stinger lashes around but misses.
The other scorpion scurries after Cordoba and just at the moment Pulsifer calls out it rips into him, distracted (5 hits). The stinger, luckily, comes nowhere near him.

ignore that. guard there in case that Calebra comes back.
Hearing the screaming,Jon realizes Calebra appears. He hesitates about whether to fight the Calebra or wait his companies. Jon finally decides to peak from the door, move to Q22,draw his greatsword.
Aref Sami Shahrokh |
Aref yells, "Calebra approaches I vill hold him off as long as I can!"
then moves forward chanting Comen Hali Avi! and a Red-tailed Hawk appears by the doors, glowing with a pure inner light. The hawk moves to confront Calebra. Aref moves to R17, then casts summon monster I to call a celestial red-tailed hawk into being, the hawk appears in Q22 and moves to engage Calebra in M26. Rapid summoning allows me to summon as a standard action, and when the creature appears it can take 1 standard action.

Am £Éneed
I do not know if he sees what we see. His computer and software are all in Chinese so the non-unicode display is Chinese. I get all kinds of crap like this on my office computer, which has a lot of Chinese software. I can't read French from my office computer, for example...
It also adds in all kinds of grammar errors and usage anamolies...
Just kidding...
Pharasma |
Syd slashes mightily at the armoured scuttler, "Gerraway from 'im!"
Crouched low Syd swings trying not to drive the blade into the stone floor, he can't seem to bit into the critter's armor.
The hawk moves to confront Calebra.
The bird slaps Calebra with its wings as it passes by; the beast shakes its head and roars at the tiny bird.
The Deceiver |
Attack; Damage (1d20+3=20, 1d6+1=2)
The Deceiver thrusts his rapier against the scorpion. He then moves back a step (O2).
Ryor, possible flank scenario.

Sorry guys. It says "Am I need" on mine. I worked so hard on my grammar too you know-- :) I don't know what you guys mean sometimes because English is just a class I take. DnD is much better.
Jon moves to P25, wants to stop Calebra from blocking the door. He will fight defensive.
Pharasma |
The two Bhuka near Aref, Palmseed and Sandwhisper, scurry to the doorways.
Sandwhisper dives across to the far door. They chatter at Jon but he doesn't know what the heck they're saying.
Waiting for Ryor and Bohdan.
Rackham, with everyone else full moving their asses to the pool, just let me know if you want to retcon your position for next round... no problem.
Bohdan |
Confident that the remaining four in the surgery can take care of the wounded scorpions, and praying that more doesn't show up, Bohdan rushes back through the complex. The two spellcasters are hardly a match for Calebra in close combat, so some hard steel needs to be put in its way.
running to Q18, i.e. tripple move.
Also, I didn't get a chance to put it down before, but I assume that I have picked up one of the magical longswords to aid me in the battle against Calebra. I don't know which one it is, so if there are different bonuses then I'll let you decide which it is. I'll just assume that they are +1 longswords otherwise when I do my rolls.

The scorpion literally explodes. There is scorpion on Ryor, scorpion is on Cordoba, scorpion is in the pool of water, scorpion has sprayed across the room onto Syd and Wetsands, scorpion is on the shelves... there is even scorpion on the ceiling.
How he did it, nobody knows... perhaps some mysterious form of martial power has welled up from his nethers and turned him into a beast warrior.

Seeing a tasty morsel laid out before him in nice crunchy armor, Calebra ignores the hawk and moves toward Jon.. “No answer has yous," it purrs, then it leaps at him and lashes him with claws.
1d20 9=11, 1d6 4=9, 1d20 9=25, 1d6 4=5
Jon dodges the first easily but the second catches him solidly in the shoulder, driving him to his knee for a second.
Meanwhile the last scorpion gnashes at Wetsands with its claws and snags him once again (5 hp), but he luckily dances away from the cumbersome jabbing stinger.

Rackham Pulsifer |
Waiting for Ryor. Two scorps left. Flank and kill?
Rackham, with everyone else full moving their asses to the pool, just let me know if you want to retcon your position for next round.
From what I can see, I'm a bit bottlenecked by Bodhan, Aref, one of the Bhuka, and the doorway. Any options?

I think you could have taken a double move last turn.

The Bhuka charge Calebra and engage him from all sides lashing at him with their swords and spears.

Sandwhisper and Scorpion, whirling their blades furiously dash in and each cut Calebra deeply eliciting a powerful roar from the beast.
The Mapper |
I placed Cordoba down one, Rad, because I had already moved Syd there.
>>>>>MID-TURN MAP, EDIT: INCL BOHDAN'S MOVE BELOW<<<<<
Waiting for Pulsifer, Aref's hawk, Aref's move.
Bohdan |
Shouting a prayer to Iomedae to favor her humble servant, Bohdan trudges steadfast to the door opening to survey the scene in the main chamber.
cast Divine Favor and move to Q22
Aref Sami Shahrokh |
Aref moves through the doorway and yells Liviok!. A vaguely bird-shaped form of energy leaps from Aref's outstretched hand and slams into Calebra's shoulder.
Move to R23, cast magic missile. 1d4 1=4 damage.
Meanwhile the Hawk strikes at Calebra with it's talons. 1d20 6=23+2 for flanking for 25, 1d4-1=1 using his smite ability for 1 extra damage.
After striking the hawk lands on the ground beside Calebra, preparing to leap up and attack. Maybe...
(With rapid summoning, he shows up for a standard action on the first round, then on the second round he can do full actions. Does he disappear after the 2nd round or does he stay for 2 full-rounds from his conjuring? If he does he is around for a standard action next round, but that seems a bit powerful to have him able to get off 3 attacks in 2 full rounds. I leave the ruling for the DM. Let me know when the summons should disappear.)

For a 2 round summon I think that he can take a move or a standard the first round, and then he can take the OTHER action in his last round, and any free actions. That way he's still only taking 2 rounds of action. At least he remains engaged for that last round. That's the best I can do now.
