Eveyone breaths a sigh of relief In the aftermath of the battle, a hush pervades the village; a few cheers erupt but are quickly muffled by those wise enough to know the fighting is not yet done. For the most part, the farmers prepare themselves for further combat; their fallen comrades are respectfully moved away from battleground, crossbows are reloaded, and what repairs can be made to the barricades are attempted. This prudence is soon proved correct; from the eastern edge of the village, a low growling sound grows in volume. Suddenly, a loud crash comes from another barricade, panicked villagers come running from that direction. “A demon! The crows have brought a demon down upon us!” one of the farmers screams, throwing his spear down as he runs.

Mouth agape Gregor assesses the owlbear. Casting Shield of Faith on himself he calls for a Judgment of Sacred Destruction on the beast. Sensing Gregor calling upon his god Ciarra calls upon her goddess, blessing the party for the battle to come.

But he knows he must fight the creature and stay to see the villager's victory.

Healed by Ciarra et was a little better but decided to fight defensively.

The Owlbear has taken 50 points of damage thus far. Go ahead and post round 2 assume the Owlbear takes a full attack option on Zinkio.

Gregor searches his mind to see if he can recall what he knows about an owlbear's weaknesses. Monster Lore: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12 Armed with (hopefully) new found knowledge Gregor continues his assault.

Aid holds off to see if Gregor and Zinkio can put the beast down. No telling what else was coming behind the Owlbear, and she wanted to keep all her options open, spells wise.

There is am eerie solace in the after math of the fight. You get the feeling it's not over and there is going to be at least one last move of desperation on the tengu's side to control nesting swallow.
