Alie casts Detect Magic, and starts looking around the courtyard. She first focuses on the strange mosaic, wondering what it would be doing there.

There are two doors to either side of the double door in the courtyard to the west as well as a door to the north and south
There are four unexplored areas left, surely the braid of a hundred masters is somewhere.

Unfortunately Maximo is little help with nature or geography. He is, however, not a veteran of many battles, some of which he actually remembers.

Looking about at the doors, he suggests the group proceed north then circle around.
So I'm suggesting guidance and Resistance all around. Also, was Ciarra able to use restorations on Wreck or Maximo?

Eleven ruined mattresses and a few aged and cracked pots are this room’s only furnishings. A section of the ceiling has collapsed in the northwestern corner of the room, causing the wind to howl eerily as it blows over the building. A series of images has been carved into the still-standing sections of the room’s walls, each image indicating a humanoid in a series of different positions and stances.
Nothing else in this room.

Without knowing the positions and stances of the humans, etc. I don't know how I could mange an argument, I'm afraid. Ciara has a +8 to that skill though, if she wants to give it a try!

The carvings depict a series of exercises and forms that one could follow as part of an Ironan Training regimen. That leaves three rooms unexplored, one connected to this one directly south. A long one dominating the farthest south and one along the SW wall.

This room once served as the master’s quarters. Shang Xu has made his nest in this room and a pile of filth covers the once-fine mats laid upon the floor. If cornered in this room, the yeti fights to the death.

"The braid's over there," Alie points to the nest. "But it detects as strong magic. It's the type that can turn you into a different creature...transmutation, so we should be really careful in case that's a trap!"

But just in case... Gregor asks Abadar to grand guidance to each member of the party as the unravel this mystery.

Well, two rooms left to explore. One in the south the other in the south west.

Two large, corroded cooking pots dominate the center of this otherwise unadorned, long, tiered room. This room served as the monks’ communal dining area and larder. The yetis have long since destroyed the few containers left after the monastery’s abandonment, leaving shattered ceramics strewn across the floor
One room left...
This fifteen-foot-by-thirty-foot room seems to have escaped the destruction found throughout the rest of the monastery. A statue, leaning against the northern wall, appears out of place among the rest of the room’s contents—clay pots, ruined sacks, and aged tools. The statue, made of finely carved stone with jade inlays, depicts a man with a serene face, standing in a meditative stance.

Peering closely at the statue, Maximo suddenly takes a step back in surprise. "Pardon me, but I believe you just spoke!" He says to the statue. "Yeti's we have seen, though I believe we have vanquished them all, including one especially large and unfriendly specimen. Ah, but where have my manners gone! This altitude must be affecting my keen mind. Please, allow me to introduce myself. I am Maximo Interresante, and we have come seeking glory in adventure."

"Greetings and salutations, Jiang Dan." Maximo performs a graceful courtly bow, only a little ruined by a sudden cough and wheeze. "We have come to retrieve the Braid of a Hundred Masters, and seeing that the only residents of this place were abominable snow creatures, and likely without the authority to grant permission to take the braid, might it be asked of you instead? Such a relic should not remain untended and forgotten."
