Rii-Chi |

Mischa takes in the antics of the Munkustrap and Rii-Chi.... and bursts out laughing.
Rii-Chi bounds upright, wraps a furry arm around Munkustrap and bows. "Thank you, thank you good Lady. We'll be here until we can get a ship off again!"

Munkustrap |

"Sadly my friend it was more about me stealing their stuff rather than being a cat. People are funny that way."
Munkustrap tries to deftly slip one of Rii-Chi's pouches off his belt.
sleight of hand: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19

Rii-Chi |

Munkustrap tries to deftly slip one of Rii-Chi's pouches off his belt.
Which would work brilliantly, if Rii-Chi had a belt, or pouch from which to steal!

Neltji |

Neltji shakes her head as she watches Rii-Chi and Munk go round and round. They had just gotten down with a serious fight that left both Caine and Mischa injured. Yet here they were gallivanting around like nothing out of the ordinary just happened. She did not understand it. Perhaps she was too young still to understand how boys acted. On the other hand they were having fun and not insulting anyone nor causing any harm.
perception 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 No idea he would have lifted a belt pouch lol

Munkustrap |

Which would work brilliantly, if Rii-Chi had a belt, or pouch from which to steal!
Really - you have to have something I can steal :/

Rii-Chi |

Rii-Chi doesn't carry his money around, it's hidden back at camp (hoarding instinct) so the only thing he's carrying is a quiver of arrows and they're probably all over the beach after he's been playing puppy! Feel free to steal them if you want Munk! :)

Rii-Chi |

Well you could try and take his dignity, but he gives that up pretty easily anyway! :)

Caine Battaglia |

"Thanks, Mischa. I confess I'm getting tired of being pinched. But I suppose you can't explore without encountering the creatures who got here first." Caine says.
"Is everyone ready to move out?" Caine asks the group.

Neltji |

Neltji hides her smile behind the back of her hand watching Rii-Chi and Munk. She then turns to the sensible Caine. I am ready to go thanks to the heroics of the rest of you. Indeed you all do such a fine job of keeping me from harm at risk to yourselves. Hopefully I can express how much that means to me by keeping you healed as best I can.
btw switching from infernal healing to cure light wounds as that seems more acceptable by the group. At least till 2nd level when I get healing hex.

Thorion Trepador |

Thorion stood by, expressionless, and unmoved by the playfulness of the group. His attention was clearly focused on the task of surveying the area, which left little time for such things. After concluding that the crabs most likely wouldn’t return, he turned his attention back to the group. “Yes, I am more than ready to move on. he stated in response to the hunters inquiry.

Rii-Chi |

"Yes, let's go! Rii-Chi says with a grin. "And no more crabs!"

DM RichD |

H
A fifty-foot-diameter clearing in the jungle here allows the sun to beat down upon a field of wilted-looking plants, their leaves a sickly, diseased yellow. A large, bulbous plant and its tall-stalked, twitching yellow flowers loom in the center of the clearing, flanked by three humanoid creatures.

Munkustrap |

I knew we weren't alone.
Munkustrap tries to blend in the shadows as best he can.
Stealth: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17
Before he disappears into the jungle, he whispers to the group, "Have Thorion talk to them. He's great with people."
He quietly moves around the clearing to get a better view of the humanoids fully expecting Rii-Chi to appear by his side at any moment.

Rii-Chi |

Rii-Chi scampers up a tree, taking cover amongst the thick cover of the jungle.
Stealth: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19

Thorion Trepador |

As the clearing became more visible, Thorion quietly observed the area from a distance. The uneak plant definitely stood out among the rest of the foliage, while the presence of the humanoids raised more than a casual red flag. Prepared for the worst, he stood cautiously next to Neltji, keeping some distance from the plant, yet close enough to react if things where to go south. The humanoid’s reaction to the presence of the group would eventually speak volumes about their intent. Although he felt uneasy about the situation, there was no clear hostility displayed yet.
Quietly, like a sculpture, he stood with his scythe poised low to the ground. His muscles tightened with anticipation as he quietly observed the humanoids. Clearly, the rest of the group felt a similar concern as they quickly attempted to hide from the confrontation.

Caine Battaglia |

Caine pulls an arrow from his quiver as he prepares his bow to fire in case the humanoids turn out to be hostile. As he does so, he attempts to get into a less exposed position where he can observe the humanoids without alarming them.
Stealth: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
Also, relying on know nature to ID something about the plant and humanoids
Know nature: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

Neltji |

Since she has an idea of what the plant might be she looks at the humanoids as well but cant make out what they are exactly. She does whisper to anyone near here though I think those might be undead by the plant. That plant can turn creatures into zombies!

Thorion Trepador |

While Heeding Neltji’s words, Thorion stood perfectly still as he made an attempt to visually inspect the humanoids for any outwardly sign that they were undead.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25

Caine Battaglia |

"Yeah, the flora in the tropics can be a bit different from what you see up north. I've heard them called yellow musk creepers. Dangerous, but I think if we stay far enough away, we can probably avoid it," Caine estimates.

Rii-Chi |

"What are you saying?" The voice comes floating quietly from the trees above. "Attack, or go round? Plant and slow men, not good at spotting!"

Munkustrap |

"I say we kill that plant. I can run those zombies around just like I did those other undead on the beach." comes a voice from the forest.

DM RichD |

The zombies begin to stir.

Tactical Map has been updated.

Mischa Catanarri |

Mischa throws out her hands and sways them from side to side, rising higher and higher. As she moves she chants, until the plants all around the zombies reach up and wrap around the legs and limbs of the undead.
Casting entangle. Reflex DC 15, lasts one minute. She's aiming to centre it on the zombies, fill up most of the space between us and them, but not get any of her allies in the area.
"That should slow them down. We can leave now, if you still want to. And if not, stay out of the plants! Let them come to us."

Thorion Trepador |

”Leaving the undead, or the plant that conceived them, is not an option. At least not for me.” Thorion stated in a tone that left no doubt about his commitment to the task at hand.

Up Next: Caine,Rii-Chi,Thorion, & Munkustrap

Thorion Trepador |

Thorion stands rigidly prepared to strike. With his eyes transfixed on the undead, he releases a small part of his rage into his grip, which causes his blade to glow with a faint blue aura.
(standard action) Thorion imbues his weapon with Ice strike and then waits for the undead to move close enough to attack.

Rii-Chi |

Longbow: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20 Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
From the trees above an arrow whistles down and strikes the plant thing cleanly!

Munkustrap |

Not possessing weapons of the range Rii-Chi can, Munkustrap holds his action until the zombies come within his dagger throwing ability.

What is the distance the zombies are away from Neltji? If too far away over 30ft then she will just move over and cast guidance on Caine.
