Guess we have to deal with Mera first right now....nonlethal power attack while enlarged, inspired and heroism...disarm her...trip her and let Richard tackle her and hold her down? So many options...
Also I am needing some help with suppressing a powerful motivation on Tal's part in him taking Mera's glaive and chucking it in the river. As a player I have no problem with Mera having claimed it. However in-character it seems like it is eroding Mera's will which is why she failed the dominate person and has previously failed will saves as well.
Bringing this up here as I (as the player) don't want to do so as it is adding a lot of fun interactions and randomness to the game. Its just like I said, Tal needs a reason not to do so. Any help/insights from any of you would be helpful.
Do I get a vote? How about hold her down and kiss her? If you and Richard want to do it together, why, she won't complain.
Why do you need to "deal" with me. Can't you just embrace me and let our passion which has built up over these long weeks take off? Stop fighting Tal, it's hopeless. If you want her to roleplay and pretend to be Lily, just ask.

Couple of things to add. Edric actually got 18 thanks to Heroism and IC, and secondly he has a more effective method since I realised he was down a domain for some reason.
He's now got the Freedom Subdomain of Liberation which gives him access to Liverty's Blessing. It says willing, but could I use a touch attack against someones AC if they weren't?

OOC, I'm enjoying this "Mera corruption" character arc for her. It adds more spice than the usual "You and 3 heroes kick down the door, slay monsters, move to the door" mentality I see in some PbP games.
IC, Richard will gladly try to disarm her. We need to purify or destroy the glaive, not give it to someone else.
Thanks, I am too! I try to bring a little spice to my PbP games. I feel like this is the easiest format to do it in and it really helps break up the monotony of your typical dungeon crawling RPG. To add on to that a bit, I enjoy playing Pathfinder for the story and character building more than the combat and dice rolls.
And let's not be so hasty about this glaive destruction and purification business, hmmm? Let Mera talk to you about Asmodeus, the Anvengen has shown her the way!
As a DM, I have always been a big believer in letting the PC's determine how they want to conduct their games. As long as everyone is good with it, I am good with however you all want to RP Mera and her glaive. In the meantime, I am enjoying the fact that, unlike my monsters, Mera actually does some damage! :P

Oh and Mera doing damage is Crazy, right? I can't believe how effective she has been in melee combat! I never intended to be this effective.
Edric was also mentioning that he thought I should keep the glaive as is because it creates so much more roleplay potential! ;) (Or something like that)

IF that is the case then Tal is going to need to take leadership to get some sort of animal cohort just to keep all of your familiars in line. Although I do like the idea of Sherix dressing up in a devil outfit to sit on the other shoulder for Mera.

no more AOO on Mera unless she resumes her attacks or threatens the party. There are vampires that need to be taken care of first.
Also does Edric need to make a will save for grabbing the glaive? This could be hilarious if he would roll a nat 1 right now.
Yeah I don't think Tal will ever try and hold that glaive. IF he would fail the save that might mean the end of someone. I might have to consider improved iron will for that eventuality.
I don't know why you guys are making such a big deal over holding it. Mera has made it clear that it is hers and she'll gladly hold it and carry that burden.

I think what the problem is right now we don’t know exactly who is the owner. Tal is thinking that the glaive is the master and Mera is just the submissive at this point.

Hey guys! Two pieces of business to discuss.
First, I've been using discord for all of the games I play in and GM for awhile now and it's pretty awesome. Allows for some quicker communication and back and forth with players on stuff. Secondly, I was tossing around the concept of a rebuild of Mera with Edric and RichD today. I loveMera's character, but it's only a matter of time before you guys strip the glaive from her as it begins to drive her more and more to the wrong side. This plus the fact we have another bard would be a good opportunity to better help the party in the future.
I'm thinking of a culmination of when she loses the glaive things go very badly and it rips part of her away with it in whatever happens. She's going to lose her bard levels and change over to something else. I'm still sticking high charisma, so I'm thinking Mesmerist could still be fun for her, it's a class I've been meaning to try. Richard can still cover our bard duties and this gives us a little more utility in combat.
Thoughts?
I am a firm believer in a player having fun and finding something that can enjoy. If you think that Mera will eventually be less fun for you due to the glaive conflict then I support converting over. If you think Mera is more fun in her current form stick with Mera. I have no problem with there being 2 bards and some overlap there.
In short do what you want to do and I am fine with it.
Agreed with Tal. Play however you want to. If we're overlapping too much, you could go sorcerer, mesmerist or oracle. Heck, Avengen's Edge may become Mera's curse.
I'll have to blow the dust off of Discord and turn off a million channels, but it might be worth it.
