Assuming you'd have me back, looking at the current party composition I see that Richard is fulfilling the bardly duty of inspiring everyone heroically (nicely done sir). I most certainly do not want to step on his toes and would need to rework Mera slightly to make that happen.

Two bards could never hurt. You are welcome to come back, of course. We'll just need to coordinate on our styles accordingly.

While I'm sure we could easily pull off two bards, I'm not sure it'd be super efficient unless I archetyped her to ditch some of the common bardic abilities.

I'd hate to lose those skill points, moving off of bard. And I assume you'd still put your points into Perform(sing).
Maybe Maestro bloodline Sorcerer or Intrigue mystery Oracle. An Oracle is 4 skill points per level, so it's not as painful as dropping from 6 points.
Who cares about efficiency. Keep both of your characters as they are and have fun with them. I mean Richard is all about his pet bird and Mera is about...well herself. So what if you have duplicate social skills. In my experience you can never have too many social savants.

What defences and traps might we encounter inside Delvehaven and its vaults?
What do you know about what happened to Loremaster Liriam after Aroden's death?
...and a follow up question relating to her answers from above, cause I'm sure we'll need one.
It's hard to argue with Lorelei's questions after her dissertation on Delvehaven :) According to the timeline it seems asking questions related to Shadow Beasts won't reveal information unless it comes up in response to one of our other questions.
I'm not sure whether it's relevant, but things to consider are also followup questions on Sivanshin disappearance/artifact he took or perhaps more information on Bisby's situation/location/death.
Agreed on your further question. What if we change the phrasing on the question about Sivanshin's journals to... What do you know about what happened to Sivanshin and his journals?
If we end up without needing to ask a clarifying question with our fifth, we should ask for information about Bisby for sure. It's odd he was sealed down there. Knowing why and how is bound to be helpful. Coriana might know.

If you haven't had a chance to check out the new Pathfiner 2.0 playtest rules, you should do so. I played a 2 hour demo and man do I really like every little thing about it. I can't wait until next year!
They took the Starfinder changes and even bumped them up more to make it very streamlined, efficient and more realistic. The thing I like the most is that I usually GM all games and the adjudication for v2 is going to be so much better!
I've definitely liked what I've heard about 2.0 so far. You have a lot more freedom in the actions you can take each round, and they effectively added Bounded Accuracy so you can't stockpile ridiculous skill check bonuses. I have a PC in my homebrew game with over +30 Diplomacy and I have no idea how to challenge her.

Good with whatever. Like Richard mentioned we are good with skills. A dedicated full divine or arcane might be nice eventually for some of the higher end spells.
Tal is fine in melee all alone, right?! I'm in favor of whatever the best submission is.
Solo combat of a tight area yes I am fine. The only concern is if we get terribly outnumbered and flanked. Who is able to anchor the other side?
