Yes, he has a natural +4 for skill, +1 for within 30 feet(point-blank shot) and +1 for bless for a total net of +2

Ok, so he needs to make the stabilization check to see if he loses one more hit point or not. Otherwise the cure will stabilize him.

Somehow Kalani manages to catch it off guard with his morningstar, but only barely.

Despite the melee frenzy, the serpent quickly darts into the woods, its outline quickly disappearing as it's coloration blends in.

Ulfgar and Bort attempt to track the beast to discover where it went and determine if it is still a threat to the party.

The elder darkwood has a trunk 30 feet in diameter. Kalani points out that the elder darkwood’s trunk has a small patch of elderwood moss like Laurel described. The growth is easily collected by even the most unskilled hand.
