Alright I'm back. Couple questions as we wrap this up. Since this interrupted our sleep cycle do we heal the 1 hp/level when we finish our sleep or not at all? Also we don't get our spells refreshed because we didn't get a full 8 hours of sleep?

Taking watch, there is no healing for normal resting anyway. It has to be 8 hours of continuous rest.
Also we don't get our spells refreshed because we didn't get a full 8 hours of sleep?
You won't get any spells cast in the last 8 hours, i.e., spells cast during this battle.

Even without saying so, Stevesie's spidey-senses tingle and tell him to take third watch.
The kobolds attacked when Stevsie was on watch so sometime during the third shift or at least 8 hours after we started resting. I think we should just loot the bodies and continue on towards the tree. Also, how does arrow recovery work?

From the prd
Ammunition: Projectile weapons use ammunition: arrows (for bows), bolts (for crossbows), darts (for blowguns), or sling bullets (for slings and halfling sling staves). When using a bow, a character can draw ammunition as a free action; crossbows and slings require an action for reloading (as noted in their descriptions). Generally speaking, ammunition that hits its target is destroyed or rendered useless, while ammunition that misses has a 50% chance of being destroyed or lost.

What are we going to find looting kobolds? Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14 I guess I can roll for that but my perception isn't that high. Two rolls for finding my arrows that missed FindArrow: 2d2 ⇒ (2, 1) = 3. Might as well Knowledge(local): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22 the kobalds to see if they are from a local tribe / have had any unusally activity lately.
After searching around in the bushes for his arrows, Stevesie returns to camp, "I guess we just go back to bed, I can finish 3rd watch and then Ulfgar goes, and we keep rotating 'till morning?"

Do we count the misc stuff such as leather armor as straight up half the cost in gold or do we have to keep track of everything to sell later?
Too lazy to do it now, also we can't spend the gold yet, I'm going to share a google doc with everyone and just copy+paste things into it for now? sound good?
Stevesie and the group continue on the trail that is written.

Stevesie suddenly halts and turns around, "I think I heard something." After taking a short pause, Stevesie reassesses the situation, "Nah, musta been the wind."

Bort Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Ulfgar points towards a large, dead tree and says "Hey, what's wrong with that tree? Is it bleeding?" as he walks towards it.

Ulfgar notices a stump with a prismatic, semi-coagulated liquid trickling down from the splintered top. Three small, doll-like withered twig figures are pinned on top.

Now that you pointed it out to us we can all look at the tree, we just woulda missed it without you. Knowledge(local): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Stevesie muses, "Yeah, yeah, magical tree in a magical world, what's so our of place?

Moving along, the woods are dark with a heavy canopy. As night begins to fall, the dense trees and thick brush of the forest give way, parting seemingly in respect for the titanic darkwood tree that dominates this clearing. Several times taller than a temple minaret, in one direction the obviously ancient tree reaches into the sky with branches like a giant’s arms, while in the other it plumbs the earth with roots thicker than a man’s waist. Its limbs broad and strong, its bark thick and so richly colored as to almost be black, and its leaves the size of bucklers, the giant thing is less a tree and more a cathedral of boughs and branches.

Stevesie proudly points to the tree, "See boys and girls, I told you I could take us to this big o'le tree out here in the woods. Now we just have to find some moss, although I should probably warn you of the ancient mumbo-jumbo spirits that will curse you for the rest of your life if you break a single branch. Best be extra careful."
Stevesie does a perception check to make sure the tree and surrounding envirns are clear, and then looks for moss on the tree. perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
