Stevesie stands guard with his sword.
Did we check all levels of the tower or just the first floor? Also can he take the masterwork sword as part of his loot share?

Stevesie looks around, and after seeing the door pretends like he knew about it all along, "I thought we were already in agreement to go behind the bookshelf on the right."
Ok thanks, I'll take the sword.
Stevesie feels empowered with his new toy.

Are we supposed to see more on the Droskar Crusible map? I have the same areas blocked off.
Stevesie is obviously excited, "Let's go boys. Who do you think they locked up in here?"

Stevesie ponders, "Why would a monastery have cells? And what lead the monks to let these people waste away under their care? On the plus side, maybe the rest of the place is empty, and we can take some free loot."
Stevesie heads to the door of the room, ready to move on.

This small study looks like it has been lived in recently. Gnawed bones litter the floor and tufts of gray fur can be seen here and there. An old stone desk sits in the center of the chamber, scratched and cracked in many places. The stench of wet fur hangs heavy in the air.
Two wolves stand up from lying on ground, their fangs barred as they let out a low growl.
Stevesie Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Ulfgar Initiative: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Kalani Initiative: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (18) - 1 = 17
Churdon Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
DM Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17

Ulfgar commands Bort to attack while moving next to Kalani.
handle animal: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
He fires an arrow at the left most wolf(Is it just a cover bonus or does he not have line of sight?)
attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
dmg: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Ok I don't think that Bort is smart enough to get in a flanking position for us so is it possible for me to acrobatics into a space north of the wolves? I don't really want to take two AoO at once and I would like to try to avoid them. Am I allowed to move multiple squares with an acrobatics check or just one?

Nonsentient Companions: a nonsentient companion (one with animal-level intelligence) is loyal to you in the way a well-trained dog is—the creature is conditioned to obey your commands, but its behavior is limited by its intelligence and it can't make altruistic moral decisions—such as nobly sacrificing itself to save another. Animal companions, cavalier mounts, and purchased creatures (such as common horses and guard dogs) fall into this category. In general they're GM-controlled companions. You can direct them using the Handle Animal skill, but their specific behavior is up to the GM.

Found what acrobatics does: Acrobatics Link. Since I'm squeezing in between the wolf and Churdon I'm not sure if I can move at a diagonal. I chose to move half speed (three squares, acrobatics v CMD) so if I can't move all the way across move me back a little, I don't want the extra modifier for moving through the wolf's space or from full speed.
Stevesie drops his backpack and added weight on the ground. Free action to release clasps? Or minor action? It doesn't matter much for this plan.
Then, Stevesie nimbly tumbles through the fray to get to the other side of the wolf. Stevie shouts, "BOB AND WEAVE YOU FOOLS!"
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
After arriving at the backside of the wolf he swings his sword wildly at the wolf.
Shortsword: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
This should provide the straight opening that Bort needs to get in there.
Edit: Well with that acrobatics check Stevesie may be down for the count. Please don't let me be the first death.

Welp. I'm out of spells for the day, and I don't want to take up Bort's spot, so I guess I'll try to go far left.
Kalani squeezes his way into the room, past Churdon and to his left.
Provoke AOO
Then, he swings his morningstar at the wolf that Churdon is also attacking.
Morningstar: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3
Damage: 1d8 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1

Stevesie try's to dart past the wolf, but ends up stumbling instead, exposing himself to the hungry wolf.
AoO: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
bite damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
trip: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
The wolf sinks it's fangs into Stevesie's calf and begins jerking back and forth, pulling Stevesie to the ground.
I'm back peddling Kalani because he would provoke 2 AoO to go to that spot.

Does the wolf get a second AoO on Kalani after the wolf used one on Stevesie? I thought that if the player and the DM are tied for initiative that the player moves first and then the DM moves, so Kalani moves before the wolves refresh their AoO.

That's incorrect. Ties go to who has the large initiative modifier.

I'll try, but I need to succeed with a 15 (his CMB is 10) to drag him back an extra 5 ft since Ulfgar/Bort are blocking the way...
"Don't worry! I gotcha!" shouts Kalani.
Kalani attempts to drag Stevesie out from under the wolf:
Drag: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (9) - 1 = 8
"Oof, you're heavier than you look, you know that?" Kalani says when he fails to move Stevesie.

DM rel20 |

Churdon empowers his sword but is unable to connect. The wolves then attack.
The wolf hovering above Stevesie:
bite: 1d20 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 2 + 4 = 19
damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
continues to rend flesh.
The other moves closer to Churdon:
bite: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
and misses.
Kalani then attempts to drag Stevesie but is unable to do to the combined weight, but Ulfgar assists (we'll say his roll was for an assist giving a +2) and the two are able to move him outside the room.

Stevesie is now disabled and can only take one action per turn.
Stevesie seems very disoriented and weak.

![]() |

Bort should join you, as there is a straight shot for the dumb tiger. I'm at 0 hp lol. Trying not to die is my first priority. I mean I can't be the first death here too.

DM rel20 |

Churdon finishes off the injured wolf with his empowered blade.
bite: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Trip: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
However, he loses focus on the other one which is able to time its attack and hamstring him, bringing him down (prone). Bort attempts to come to the rescue, but only manages to kick up the table.
Kalani is up. Ulfgar can make his shot.
