I can probably disable it for a short time, if you all can figure out a way to get over.

Options that I can see:
Glitterdust to blind it for 5 rounds.
Slumber Hex to make it sleep/fall for 5 rounds (and hopefully get trapped by the vines)
Scroll of Cause fear - But my guess is that won't work at this level.
Scroll of Phantasmal Killer - But I really want to avoid that as I'd like to have that as a known spell.
Scroll of Summon Monster 1 - Summon Eagle, and hopefully make it chase this as food while you run around.

That's what I got, but I can't risk getting close, as that thing will wreck me if I let it get in Melee, (as a 2 will grapple me, and I currently have no counter to that) and you all need to figure out a way to get over here, as I can't pick you up and fly you over.

All good and fine, if you are fighting on solid ground. On the lily pads you might not even be able to deliver it.

Dain, you could enter the room and I can stand in the doorway while Lanneth does whatever. Lanneth, you could hold until the right moment.

Phantasmal killer scroll DC16 has two saves that the bug has to fail to die.

Will save we already had with +3+4 (?) which gives us a 35% chance to succeed with the first save.

Assuming the second save which is fort is 5 we got 50% for the second.

All in all, a chance to kill the thing of 17.5% and another 17.5 percent to do 3d6 points of damage.

Clearly I'll start with Slumber or Glitterdust if the thing is invisible.
Phantasmal Killer is next if neither of those work.

I wouldn't have listed it if it wasn't an option, I would be willing to use, but Yorikata has the percentages correct... It's a Hail Mary if we have to use to to prevent a TPK.

Dain head into the room (probably where you can use your waraxe if need be). Lanneth hold. William to doorway. Wait on bug.


How is what exactly?

This is a flying creature so if you can keep it from flying it will fall and take damage for sure, right now it has Vanished and you cannot see it so you need to move now if you want too.

Well that changes things from my point of view. I do not have any good ideas at this point. I think Lanneth is going to have to perform a miracle.

Stick together, yes. Flanks if possible. It can move, hit, move and it is invisible. I do have a sure hit readied if I could see it.
+1 Greataxe PA: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
damage: 1d12 + 13 ⇒ (1) + 13 = 14
Damage is lowest possible, I could release and roll again. Need to roll 11 to hit it.
