The monolith slams a fist into the angazhani, doubling it over with its powerful blow, then knocks a tusk out of its mouth with another.
Yanos moves and strikes with his spear, but the blade doesn't penetrate the angazhani's thick hide.
Because of movement Haris only got one attack.
Haris and Shel gang up on one of the charau-ka, and both draw blood. Left barely standing, it raises it's club with a desperate scream, but Shel avoids the clumsy attack that follows.
The second charau-ka charges to Haris flank and knocks him hard over the head. 12 damage
Calgredine wheels his horse to charge again, but a group of charau-ka drive him back.

Peri's spell takes hold of the charau-ka, causing its arm to jerk about wildly.

Yanos leaps about in an impressive acrobatic attack, but the angazhani's tough hide is more impressive.
Shel and Haris slash down the charau-ka between them.
With deep gouges in its exterior and one arm screeching with every move, the monolith shows significant damage. But constructs feel no pain, and the damage does not prevent it from bringing both arms wide and slamming the angazhani's head between its iron fists. Yanos and the monolith are splattered with blood and brains as the monster's head literally bursts. -50 HPs
Though their leader falls, the charau-ka army continues on in a frenzy and does not yet rout.
The ape-man on Haris screams as its swings for the acrobat's head, but misses.
The shaman raises a hand to cast a spell, but loses interest before really starting.

Barlor wakes up at Yanos' words and responds, "Well somebody 'round here has tah know how to hit somethin'!"
With that, Barlor clamors to his feet and moves into melee with the shaman.
DM Rah |
Peri weakens the shaman with a magic missile, but László's arrow misses. Then Yanos charges in and drops it with a well-aimed thrust of his spear.
Haris and Shel both slash at the last remaining charau-ka in the area, slicing and stabbing into unprotected areas. It stumbles from the injuries, but remains in the fight and tries once again to club Haris. The acrobat easily ducks the weak swing.
Barlor stands and closes with the charau-ka. The shaman was already dead by the time Barlor.

Barlor and Shel take down the charau-ka. Taking in the battle, it seems the others have been likewise defeated or driven back out of the camp. A ragged, much more muted cheer goes up from the camp’s exhausted defenders. The cheer is short-lived, however; almost immediately the guards in the tower sound their horns, and pointing at the cliff that looms over the south end of the dig.
Thwarted at the breach and then again at the walls, the charau-ka have made a last, desperate attempt to climb down the cliffs over the camp and attempt to take it from behind.

DM Rah |
With all of their chieftains dead, as well as the giant angazhani, the charau-ka have made the rash decision to descend the tall cliff above the camp. Most of the charau-ka that attempt to climb down fall, resulting in a chaotic rain of shrieking ape-men. Some make it to the bottom and charge the defenders within the camp. A group of four drop the ground in your area.

Haris shakes his wand, trying to heal the knot on his head recieved in the last wave of enemies.
The two surviving charau-ka throw themselves at Yanos and Barlor. Yanos catches his with defensive thrust of his spear, but it keeps coming, though it's attack doesn't penetrate the cleric's armor. Barlor's manages to slip by his club and return a strike with its own, but hits nothing but air.
